1  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2016, 06:58:54 PM
Is it really necessary to put women in a special category?

Because, you know, women don't have any problems with the perception of information: they are fully capable of assessing advantages and disadvantages of the innovative technologies, no specific approach needed.

So is there really a problem?
That's exactly what I was about to reply here and you just beat me to it.
If you actually think about it, this thread promotes sexism in some kind of a degree, although probably that was unintentional.
But still, the number of bitcoin users here that think they can motivate women with introducing bitcoins to "shopping" is just so many. I guess there is still that kind of steriotypism.

I agree: there's really a chance that all the sexism in this thread was unintentional. Nevertheless, we've got to face this problem and let all users know that stereotypes about women are wrong and offensive.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 2000 $ possible ? on: July 20, 2016, 07:40:36 PM
It Bitcoin price ever rise up to $2000, I think it's the highest point Bitcoin can reach...
Any price higher than $2000 seems impossible to me.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: will people really suffer without sex education on: July 14, 2016, 01:15:44 PM
Well, I wouldn't say "suffer"... Sexual education is a relatively new phenomenon, and many countries still don't have it as a system.

But I agree, it is a really important thing.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: July 14, 2016, 12:58:42 PM
It's really hard not to be stereotypical about muslims. And not just because of ISIS.

Take my country, for example. A girl was raped by a guy or a bunch of guys? In 80% of such cases, the rapists are muslims.
A guy was shot or stabbed to death in a street incident? The attackers were muslims.
A nanny cut off the child's head and proudly carried it in public? Guess what, she's a muslim.

Nevertheless, I try hard to convince myself that crime has no nationality and not all muslims are like that.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 11:26:07 AM
Though Bitcoin becomes more and more adopted across the world, I think it's still not very wise decision to put all savings into Bitcoin
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: July 12, 2016, 02:49:07 PM
My worst Bitcoin decision was investing a fine amount of my Satoshis in some HYIP project.
Back then, I was an inexperienced user and there was noone to warn and talk me out of it.
7  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: July 05, 2016, 06:29:51 PM
- Clothes
- Games (now I can actually do this via Steam)
- Pet supplies
- DIY
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 01, 2016, 06:43:18 AM
Since Steam started accepting BTC, I've bought a game or two with my coins.
But usually I prefer not to spend Bitcoins and use fiat instead.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: June 29, 2016, 02:20:38 PM
If I were rich, I'd probably choose another way to interact with gambling - buying a casino Cheesy
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin already using too much power by 2020? on: June 22, 2016, 10:59:43 AM
2020 is pretty far from now.

I'm sure someday the devs will come up with something to solve the potential problem.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where would you like to see Bitcoin accepted? on: June 22, 2016, 10:30:10 AM
Well... pretty much everywhere, I guess.
It would be really nice to know that you can go anywhere you want (shops, cinemas, coffee houses, etc.) and pay for everything with your BTC
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 21, 2016, 06:36:07 AM
Definitely not for now. Maybe someday later, when Bitcoin is more stable and more accepted by people and organizations around the world.
