8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I too late to join the party? on: December 10, 2017, 03:09:48 PM
If you have 10000$. It's better to buy ethereum. 2018 is the year of ethereum Smiley
Buying bitcoin next year wont give you alot of profit. It might increase in value but not twice its base.
Best of luck

How sure are you that next year is the year for ethereum? No one can tell if what will happen on the prices of the crypto currency. It will really depend on the demand that the coin will have. Bitcoin's price will continue to rise on the next years and I don't think that Ethereum will be able to go over it's rate in the next years.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bcash debate. Can't will call it Rogercash ? Or do you have better ideas ? on: December 10, 2017, 02:45:45 PM
I really pity those people who were fooled by the BCH price pump before. A promise that BCH will be better than BTC is the real FUD. This fanbased coin is trying to dethrone BTC on it's place and is claiming that it is the real Bitcoin. Hope no one will be fooled again when their fans club try to pump it's price again in the future.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell, Hold or Buy? on: December 10, 2017, 05:45:25 AM
I will  just  wait patiently because Bitcoin's value is continuously increasing. 3 thousand in less than a week is a very promising increase. It is better if you just let it wait in our BTC wallet until the time we are in dire need of the money. Hehehe. It is better than to deposit in bank because BTC is like the bank's interest rate but in hundred folds. I would like to invest more to gain more and wait until in need and sell them at high price.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: December 10, 2017, 05:28:34 AM
I think for me i will wait until the year 2017 is end, because the value of bitcoin now is $13,600 it's not wort it if you sell now i suggest you before you can sell your bitcoin you must wait until the value of bitcoin is $18,000 because base on the expert in crypto currency it's is possible before this year end the value worth to $18k .
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / NICE HASH COMPROMISED on: December 10, 2017, 05:18:58 AM
After what happened to nicehash do you have other pool that you can suggest for me? I was with nicehash before it was compromised and is now looking for another pool for my mining GPUs. I prefer pool that pay in BTC. Can anyone suggest me the best pool for now.
13  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-09] Futures Trading Will Intensify Bitcoin’s Volatility on: December 10, 2017, 04:33:57 AM
Is bitcoin ready for this futures trading? Once they do it in dec 18 we should expect more and more transactions to be made everyday. We are still experiencing a huge congestion on the mem pool and low fees are not being confirmed for weeks now. What will happen once bitcoin futures is on it's place?
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if bitcoins are made in physical form? on: December 10, 2017, 04:21:46 AM
There was a physical bitcoin before that was minted by casascius before but they were stopped by the US government because of some legality issue. The coins are being priced now more than it's value. I saw one in the auction section BTC 1 coin was sold for 4 times the value.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: December 09, 2017, 07:27:19 PM
Trading  is an act  in which we buy stocks or coins either in a long term basis or in a short term basis.Usually altcoins are traded in a short term basis and even day trading is done in which trading is done more than two or three times a day. Here,we have full control over our money.Risk is high and so,profit is also high.

Investment is  usually done on a long term basis.Once you make an investment, then you would not be able to withdraw your investment until the maturity period.Investment is not affected by short term fluctuations.Usually, risk is low in investment and hence, profit is also low.

Better to do both.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees.. on: December 09, 2017, 12:10:06 PM
Hi, Do you think is tehre any interest to reduce the transaction fees for bitcoin? Many alts are focusing on speed and low fees while bitcoin has made little effort.
Actually there is no way to reduce the transfer fee, but there are a few tips that everyone knows. In particular, you should follow unapproved transactions before making a transfer, and it would be better if you set a price accordingly.

Is there any tool that can provide statistics to set a fee, like the gas station tool for ethereum?

You can visit this website before sending a transaction to know if what is the best fee to use during that time.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BTC? on: December 08, 2017, 12:39:06 PM
If you have extra funds that you can invest into bitcoin then you should invest on it. Bitcoin is the most profitable invest that you can have right now and because of it's fast paced price increase you can expect to have high profit from it. You have an option of just hodling the coins or you can get into trading to increase your profit.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What causing ETH to stall as BTC amlost touched $20k? on: December 08, 2017, 09:24:08 AM
What causing ETH to stall as BTC amlost touched $20,000 this morning?
Bitcoin at the end may killed every other coins including ethereum and remain the only crypto currencies especially if the current momentum is sustain. Traders and investors are converting there altcoins  holding to Bitcoin because they believe in bitcoin they investment is safe and very sure of higher return in profits. Ethereum, holders are dumping it for bitcoin in other not to be left behind in this current pumping and acceptability of bitcoin worldwide.

I don't think that bitcoin will be the only crypto currency. Alt coins has their own purpose and it is helping bitcoin to be recognized in the whole world so bitcoins and "legit altcoins" can work hand in hand to succeed in their goal as a currency. But when it comes to those forked coins I don't think that it can go near bitcoin.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: What's your vision of cryptocurrencies ? on: December 08, 2017, 05:39:35 AM
I'm 20 i search an investment for my 60, I found bitcoin years ago but bought my first satosh only in early 2017,
So i'm searching for a 40year investment, do you think crypto will still there or it'll crash before ?

-First : I think holding both alt and btc is contradictory for longtime investment(because of the correction), except for risk diversification but I'm more convinced in btc than any other coin what's bring us to the second point
-2nd : BTC becoming mainstream, most of people are not like us, searching the best coin etc... if the most known cryptocurrency work why go to the other ?
Because of transaction speed/fee? More/less coin supply? Smart contract ? lightning network ? they don't care and don't want to know
btc and all the crypto are deeply linked, if btc crash that's the end of crypto but if it continue to grow up crypto will too (but look the first)

I searched for a good store of value, i think it can be the best choice
but btc and crypto look more interesting for short time anyway
Like I said i search a store of value that can make benefits for my old days but it's not, it's a currency it can't be both
It cause incredible problems : actual circulation supply : 16,750,000 btc (around 2-4M unusable) , 16,750,000,0000,0000 satoshi
why establish it as a currency if it's price go up everyday ? why spend it ?
Imagine you as picking a bit of your gold bar every morning to buy bread. no that's dumb you use fiat

I dont believe anymore in the systeme because of the banker system, the debt , the derivative market, the creation of money ......without speak about politicians ..... I think everything is corrupt and is done to make rich richer

What's your point of vue for long-term ? In 40 years the cryptocurrencies and blockchains will be our greatest investment or will us loose all our money in a stupid bubble with all our family and friends telling they warned us

No one can really predict if bitcoin will stay forever so if you are planning for your retirement it is best to diversify your investments. Always consider of having an investment on the fiat market which is more stable for now and just have some investment on crypto currency for now. Maybe an investment of 1/3 for crypto and 2/3 on fiat is good since crypto currency is soaring fast but you need to be sure for your future.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: December 08, 2017, 04:43:43 AM
Bitcoin is a digitall asset and can be purchase online and prices are going up and getting expensive compared to fiat money that has no value at all it's just paper that exist in this world. i will choose gold rather than fiat money for transaction, but now we'ere speaking technology so Bitcoin is the real money making an asset of all transactions.
