When the crash happened i had .86 BTC in my GOX account. because i had just deposited some money via bit-instant. i had never bought less than 1 btc before mostly because coins had always been under $40 gox allowed me to buy the .86btc but when the crash happened it wouldnt let me sell or transfer them. i was then told via this forum that this was how it is. i was wondering if there were any other methods for buying coins that would allow me to buy less than 1 coin and transfer to an address.

is it hard to sell your btc when they spike in cost. like this morning we went up to 75+ dollars. i could have made alot of money had my phone/ pc alerted me of this spike ( i need an app that does that) but would it have been difficult to sell them even if i had known what was going on.
