2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin will be the world's next reserve currency? on: August 27, 2025, 08:09:10 AM

Image from X.com

I know we have discussed this issue many times and many people are skeptical for many reasons such as the great powers like the US, EU or China...will not agree and let that happen.

They want their national currency to dominate in global reserves and trade because that is how they rule this world.

But today I want everyone to look at this problem from a different perspective, and we will see that it is more feasible than we think.
Let us look at the world today, when geopolitical instability is becoming more tense than ever, a multipolar world and a new order are gradually taking shape.

In a world where nations are losing trust in each other and everyone wants to dominate the world. They do not want to hold other countries' currencies and that is why the demand for gold has skyrocketed in recent years as central banks are trying to accumulate gold instead of currencies like the USD.

This is clearly a huge opportunity for Bitcoin and the Bitcoin era is coming. Due to its decentralized nature, it is arguably the perfect solution that the multipolar world needs. An asset/currency that is not controlled by anyone, easy to trade, store without permission or fear of confiscation or freezing. Most importantly, it solves the problem the world is facing, which is that the world does not need to trust any country and fear that one day they will become dictatorial and abuse power.

Therefore, once the multipolar world becomes more evident, even if superpowers like the US and China do not like Bitcoin, they will have to accept it because there is no more effective solution.

THAT is why I believe Bitcoin is inevitable. Smiley
3  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: is D-central legit? on: August 19, 2025, 06:32:22 AM
was just about to buy a S9 when just as I was about to send btc to the wallet that was provided by the website i thought to look into the wallet and see if it is new etc just some gut feeling of i dont want to be scammed and lose money on buying a miner yes its a S9 i just wanna get what I can afford

https://ibb.co/nqnKL2Jd

Well done for holding off on sending that Bitcoin. I've also read some reviews where D-Central has been criticised by a lot of as being shady or joke.  even so, it come into sight that D-Central Tech is an allowed Canadian business, is also well known in Quebec for hardware refurb, repairing damaged ASIC & mining hosting.  Also there are concerns because if you notice their branding is the same as that of the dubious website. so always verify domain ownership, look up authentic reviews & confirm business registration before we go S9 shopping.  Cool if it is the actual one, but if not, just walk away and report
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which Mining Hardware Gives the Best ROI in 2025? on: August 18, 2025, 07:22:37 PM
ASIC be in control of, you could look over Bitmain's latest rigs, I mean Antminer S21e XP Hyd 3U philipma1957 also mentioned, which have a lofty hashrate & mega efficiency however are still kinda high cost, also must account for market cycles & electricity.  You know ETH is PoS now, so GPUs are actually outdated for it. Otherhand GPU was very profitable for Zcash but nowadays most of the alt-mining yields mediocre returns. So another one is Cloud contracts? Yeah its super easy, but  margins are tiny. And Solo FPGA setups is totally Lagging.

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 15, 2025, 06:14:56 PM
It was indeed a memorable season for PSG last season and I guess they will not forget it. From the few games the club have played after they win the French League and the UCL, they are no longer invincible. First it was was a Brazilian club Botafogo that beat them, then Chelsea and they were just lucky to beat Tottenham. The strength of.every goalkeeper is the defence. Lucas Chevalier conceded two goals because of poor defending.

This was the best season in PSG's history. PSG won the title on every platform. And finally the team was able to win the super cup. PSG failed to win the FIFA Club World Cup only. Even then, the team was able to qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup final. Very quickly, Luis Enrique took PSG to the peak of success. Now it is to be seen whether PSG can continue this streak. Although winning the Ligue 1 title is not difficult for PSG, performing well in the Champions League is going to be very difficult this season.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: August 15, 2025, 05:30:55 PM
Yes, last season was so easy for Liverpool to win the Premier League title, and no club has the balls to challenge Liverpool for the Premier League title. Even though Liverpool will be the club to lift this season's Premier League title, I believe it will not be as easy as it was for them last season because a lot of top clubs have strengthened their teams, and they are ready to put pressure on Liverpool for this season's Premier League title.

Last season we saw that Arsenal and Manchester City's performance was very erratic. So the road to winning the Premier League title was very easy for Liverpool. This will not happen this season. Along with Arsenal and City, Chelsea will also compete for the title this season. They have formed a very strong squad. On the other hand, Manchester United will also try to make a comeback. So this season the fight for the Premier League title will be very competitive than any previous season. This season we will get the opportunity to enjoy an intense and exciting Premier League.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2024/25 | Winner: Tottenham Hotspur on: August 15, 2025, 01:55:40 PM
I didn't watch the Shakhtar Donetsk vs Panathinaikos match yesterday, but since Shakhtar Donetsk didn't beat Panathinaikos in Greece, I was so confident Shakhtar Donetsk would beat Panathinaikos in Ukraine because of home advantage, but when I checked the result of the match on LiveScore, I was so surprised that Shakhtar Donetsk vs Panathinaikos played another goalless draw both at full time and extra time, which took them into a penalty shootout, and Shakhtar Donetsk lost to Panathinaikos in the penalty shootout.

I expected Shakhtar to win against Panathinaikos. The first leg match was a goalless draw. The second leg match was Shakhtar's home match. But in this match too, neither team could score a goal. I watched the highlights of the match. Although both teams attacked a lot, we did not see any goals in this match. Shakhtar lost in the penalty shootout. Which team will win in the penalty shootout depends on luck. Panathinaikos team was lucky. As a result, the team was able to secure a 4-3 victory. Congratulations to Panathinaikos team. Panathinaikos will play against Samsunspor in the next match. This team can be considered as a favorite in this match too.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: August 15, 2025, 05:49:07 AM
Barcelona still have the best squad in the Laliga now despite all the signings Real Madrid made in the transfer market. I can’t also count Real Madrid out of the race because they also have quality and world class players like Mbappe and Vini Junior, but their midfield and defense are not solid, they can’t win league with such weak defense and lack of creativity in their midfield.

For Alonso to enjoy his job at Real Madrid, the team need to sign good players that will benefit the team not average players or finished players from other teams: therefore, I am not expecting anything special this season.

It is true that Barcelona's squad is quite strong this season. But  I do not agree with this that Madrid's defense is weak. We have seen Madrid's weak defense in the last season. But this season Madrid has added 3 talented defenders to the squad. Alexander arnold , Huijsen and carreras have been bought by Real madrid this season. Madrid spent 62.5 million for Huijsen and 50 million for Carreras. This is a big amount for any defender.

Madrid has tried its best to strengthen their squad. However  we cannot say for sure whether Madrid will be able to play well. Still, Barcelona's overall performance is quite stable. Yamal and Rafinha are in good form as we have seen in their friendly matches.

Definitely Paris Saint-Germain was  very lucky to have even equalize the game from 90+4 of the second half because Paris Saint-Germain thought is work over match that can just come and win but Tottenham players came prepared for Paris Saint-Germain, the game was really though one for Paris Saint-Germain but before the match could come to an end Paris Saint-Germain perform a miracle of equalizing the game in die minutes of the second half of game  and talking about the penalties shootout the winning is by 50 by 50 chances, which mean any clubs has the chance win when it comes to penalty shootout, so Paris Saint-Germain was very lucky to have lifted the trophy yesterday.

Undoubtedly PSG are very lucky and that is why they became the champions of the super  cup. Was PSG's overall performance very strong ? I do not  think so. PSG's performance in this match was quite weak. PSG scored their first goal in the 83rd minute and PSG equalized the match after 90 minutes. On the other hand , Tottenham's boys performed well in the first half. I would say Tottenham lost despite performing well. Luis Enrique needs to be more careful in his match strategy against teams like Chelsea and Tottenham. Otherwise, we will not get the expected results from PSG in the next Champions League. Even if PSG performs like this, PSG cannot be considered as favorites for the Champions League title.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: August 14, 2025, 03:12:05 PM
PSG was unable to score any goal in the first half, I was not impressed by Totenham, why will they start what they cant finish, to me I felt that they game was over for PSG but Totenham dashed their hope, some teams can not allow such to happen, they were winning convincingly, lets say the firts goal was a mistake just for example, what happened to the second which was the equalizing goal, are going call that a mistake also, it was a disappointing performance that came from Totenham, there wouldn't be any news for me to say Totenham did well because they weren't able to keep to it until the final whistle, they also got another chance during penaly shootout but messed up too althogh I won't blame them much on that because penalty is luck.

I would say Tottenham performed quite well. I did not  expect tottenham players to play so well against a team like psg . I expected PSG to dominate the match. But they  failed to dominate.

PSG players had a total of 12 shots. Tottenham players had 13  shots. Tottenham lost this match because of their tactical weakness. Tottenham was leading 2 -0 until the 80th minute. PSG scored their first goal in the 84 th minute and in the very last minute of the match, PSG was able to draw the match with a goal by ramos. Tottenham should have played the last 20 minutes completely defensively  and secured the victory. But the team couldn't play well in the last 20 minutes.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: August 13, 2025, 04:08:15 PM
This is a very tough match and I can't make any predictions. It's very difficult and it's a match that will surely be a spectacle as it's a play-off. Mou will surely try all the possible tactics but Benfica is a tough team that could cause quite a few problems.

Fenerbahce qualified for the next round after a poor performance in the first leg against feyenoord . We saw a great performance from the team. They won by a big margin of 5 - 2.

Fenerbahce will face benfica in the next  round. This team is very strong. We  saw Benfica win both matches against Nice in the third qualifying round. It is going to be very difficult for Mourinho to beat Benfica, that is for sure, even I consider Benfica as the favorite in this match. Fenerbahce will probably not be able to qualify for the Champions League
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 13, 2025, 03:03:10 PM
Como completely rebuilt their team after securing promotion to Serie A. Last season, they were quite successful in competing and maintaining their place in Serie A. Not only that, they even finished 10th in the standings last season.

Usually we don't see teams like Como spending a lot of money on TransferMarket. But this season Como has spent a lot of money. And it is more than 100 million. Jesus Rodriguez, Baturina, Kuhn and Addai have been bought by Como to strengthen their attack. We have seen Como perform quite well in the last season. In the past, it was very difficult for this team to qualify for Serie A. But last season Como was in 10th place in the table. And this season Como management has strengthened the squad even more. This season the team will probably fight to qualify for the Europa League.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the altcoin season will not affect bitcoin on: August 13, 2025, 10:29:18 AM

Why do you even have to ask this? It's obvious that both Bitcoin and the big altcoins ARE doing really well right now. The crypto market is in a good position. There is optimism and positivity about the future. I totally do not care if Bitcoin is going to have 70% market dominance or 48% market dominance. That doesn't matter. What matters is the overall situation in the cryptocurrency markets. Most crypto investors don't view BTC and the altcoins as "the one or the other". Most crypto investors have both Bitcoin and altcoins in their portfolios. There's no competition here.

That's right, most investors don't view BTC and the altcoins as "the one or the other", they own both and what they care about is the overall state of the crypto market. They do not discriminate, despise or slander this and praise, exaggerate that, because all are part of the market and are factors that help the crypto industry grow. Only a few selfish people criticize, compare, discriminate and create divisive arguments in the crypto community.

As financial investors, we should be happy when the whole market is doing well because this will help everyone to make profits and we have more opportunities to make more profits. We should not be afraid, jealous, or envious when one is superior to the other.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still believe Bitcoin can reach $1M? Why or why not? on: August 13, 2025, 10:00:46 AM
BlackRock and other big organisations forced SEC to accept Bitcoin ETFs. Do you know what this means? This means that there is a huge interest from the richest organisations in the world, those who own shares in thousands of the richest companies. They have been buying lots of Bitcoins and continuing so, which means that we should hold tight because we hold something that they want. Since there is such an aggressive investment from them and there are also lots of countries getting interested into creating a Bitcoin strategic reserves, this means that Bitcoin will reach $1M.
When you control 10+ trillion dollars all from the same place, it's easy to give orders to even government. They are even closer to 12+ trillion dollars right now. By comparison, let me put it this way, the entire debt of USA is 33 trillion dollars.

So it means, Blackrock is 1/3 big as USA whole debt, they are seriously huge, and I am pretty sure there are not that many nations in the world bigger than Blackrock, maybe a few? That is why it's quite obvious that they have the power and the money to give orders to USA easily, specially SEC. That is normally a scary thing, that power should not be something we need to celebrate, but in this one instance, it was something that benefited all of us in the crypto world.

Blackrock or any other financial institution cannot give orders to government or any legal authority. They even depend on the government because without the help and protection of the government, they wouldn’t be where they are today.

Blackrock and financial institutions do not force and order the SEC to approve ETFs because they do not have the authority to do so. If I remember correctly, the key factor that forced the SEC to approve the bitcoin ETF was because they failed to provide a valid and reasonable reason for repeatedly rejecting Grayscale's ETF. The court warned them and asked them to reconsider their stance on bitcoin. Taking advantage of that opportunity, Blackrock and many other investment funds also put significant pressure by jointly filing bitcoin ETFs. That left the SEC with no choice but to approve the ETF.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 12, 2025, 02:52:24 PM
T20 is a game like this, especially if any one batsman becomes aggressive, it becomes very easy for that team to score big. Dewald Brevis' 125 off 56 balls laid the foundation for Australia's defeat. The other batsmen didn't play badly but his 125 helped South Africa score 218 runs. However, South Africa's remarkable comeback in today's match has turned the turning point of this series, especially the third match is important for both teams because the team that wins that match will win the series.

We saw Australia win in the first match. South Africa made a great comeback in the second match. South Africa gave a huge target of 219 runs. And secured the victory by a margin of 53 runs.

Dewald Brevis played an unbeaten innings of 125 runs off 56 balls. And it was because of this innings that South Africa was able to collect a huge total of 218 runs. Even then, I expected the match to be competitive. If Cameron Green and Travis Head had been able to perform well, then this match would have become more enjoyable. But except for Tim David, no other batsman in the Australian squad could bat well.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: 11 more countries just joined BRICS this week on: August 12, 2025, 09:06:09 AM

Even though it may seem difficult for Western countries to join BRICS in the future, there may appear a time when countries will try to join. Especially when their own interests will be seriously affected by the long-term dominance of United States, it is not unusual for them to join BRICS to protect their national interests, where it is easier to expand trade. In the meantime, we know that there are some countries like France and Germany that have good relations with China. If they adopt such a policy in the future to protect their own interests, it will be realistic. Especially if BRICS works successfully in circulating their own currency against the dollar, then some countries in Europe will definitely try to free of the American regime.

That is very unlikely if not impossible, as they depend on the US not only economically but also militarily. The EU has been almost completely dependent on the US since World War II and to put it bluntly, the US has turned the EU into its lackey. Their relationship is no longer one of alliance and mutually beneficial cooperation in the literal sense. Therefore, the possibility of the EU leaving the US is unlikely.

Moreover, they also have their own calculations, what guarantees that Russia and China will welcome them with open arms? They would be in a dilemma if Russia and China did not accept them at that time, so they would consider carefully if they intended to move away from the US.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sign to accept your salary in bitcoin? on: August 12, 2025, 08:50:04 AM
If the company gives me options to choose, for example:
1. Only fiat currency.
2. Only Bitcoin.
3. Split between fiat currency and Bitcoin.

I would like to choose option #3 as with this salary payment method, I will receive both fiat currency and bitcoin, that can help me to do two main things: having fiat currency for my spendings and having bitcoin for my Bitcoin portfolio as DCA accumulation.

You should be fine with any of the options because none of them stops you from doing what you want to do. Your employer paying you in Bitcoin or cash can still be used wisely when you want to do that. When you receive cash, you can distribute the money according to your expenses and keep the ones that'll be use for investing which you are then invest into Bitcoin. Having them splited into two which is Bitcoin and cash, can be of help to you because it saves you the time but when you're not disciplined and do really wants to invest in Bitcoin, you won't be able to save. We shouldn't wait until our salary are paid in Bitcoin before we start investing in Bitcoin. For me I'll accept any of the options and then decide how I want to spend my salary myself.

Exactly, if we are determined and really want to invest in bitcoin, getting paid in any asset is not a problem. Because converting salary to bitcoin is extremely easy and simple, we have been doing this for over 16 years and no one has had any problems. Why has no one complained or talked about it for the past 16 years?

It can be said that investing and accumulating bitcoins depends on our investment plan, it has nothing to do with whether our salary is in bitcoin or fiat. Likewise, I also accept any form of payment as long as I am paid in full.
