Hey All, I've been trading like a maniac the past few years using lots of different exchanges and not keeping records of trades. It would be nice to send a few btc back to coinbase for USD but I'm afraid some blockchain explorer they have will follow the transactions back through everything and I could get into trouble fortrading altcoins. Am I being ridiculous? Sounds ridiculous as I type. I suppose at some point I need to take profits but I'm just nervous about going back to coinbase.

Does anyone know what happens if you never unlock your IDH tokens? Can they still be used on exchanges?

I have so many questions about bch. Been an ignorant investor for too long. If anyone can direct me to relevant technical literature..
My Q's:
Has anyone ever estimated how big full nodes could theoretically get? Why would miners mine bch if the fees are super low?

i will dump by BCC for real Bitcoin (BTC) after the split.. It will be dumped to zero. Just wait & watch..
A fool, like you, and his real Bitcoins are soon parted. we will see who the fool is. Just wait for the split. You really think this is going to work or be real bitcoin without any support from users or Miners. if yes, than you are the fool here.. The fool never thinks he's the fool

I've been thinking about this for a while and surely I'm not the only person with this problem. I've been writing passwords down on paper and keeping them in a secure location however in the event of a fire or if traveling, this becomes cumbersome. Has anyone heard of a blockchain based password keeper/journal. Would be great to just remember 1 password to access everything.

Can someone explain this to me? A worldwide MLS will require a lot of data storage. Where i the data stored? Where are the pictures stored? Will there be videos of the listings? I can't imagine all this will be on each eth node. So it will be distributed somehow? I don't get how ethereum can scale with projects like this being built on it.

Can anyone speculate why the EOS token was made as an erc20 token? Why not make he token on BitShares? Thought it was super easy to do so? Was it just a nice gesture before they push them off the cliff?

I will need to keep a closer eye on whats going on. If I sell everything in my wallet that isn't BTS, then that number should always stay the same right? I did have 2 dash in there which could have messed with that number a little.

Sorry to put my personal question on here but this is about the decentralized exchange/wallet. The total value of my wallet was 33,000 BTS and that number included 360 LSK I had. I then sold the LSK for 9 bts/lsk which was very close to fair market value. Now the total wallet value is 30,000 BTS. What the heck! How did $1000 of value (3,000 BTS) just vanish? I don't see high fees or where that value went. This isnt the first time I've noticed these drops. I figured it was because I was holding some bitusd and I know that can mess with bitusd value. But Im not holding much of anything else. Anyone have ideas??? Or experienced similar?

I've gone completely down the crypto rabbit hole this last year. I am fascinated by some of these projects such as the thought of creating systems that will make governments and traditional companies obsolete. Can anyone recommend any reading I might find interesting? I've read Understanding Bitcoin by Andreas Antonopolous. Or maybe you can recommend other sources of info?? Just fishing here...

I've been using the BitShares decentralized exchange for a week now. (It is awesome - get on there!) I'm trying to figure out if the BitShares (BTS) currency is a good investment to buy and hold. I know the way it is used is pretty different in that it is used to keep the price of their bit assets stable, I'm just not sure how the mechanics of that transfer to whether the price will go up or down. Speculations? Info? I'd love to learn how this works.

Is BitShares the only good one? Tried bitsquare a while back but nobody was on there.

Does anyone else think Dan Larimer might be the best blockchain dev in the world?

Start with Understanding Bitcoin by Andreas Antonopolous. That will give a solid base of understanding for many other projects. They are all different!

I have an electrum BTC and LTC wallet as well as the NEM Nano wallet, BitShares2-light, Dash Core, and myetherwallet on my computer. An app is requiring the latest OS be installed so I thought I'd ask here before doing it... anything to be afraid of? Or just go for it? Currently running OSX 10.10.5 going to whatever is the latest

So with delegated proof of stake, ppl vote on who can solve the blocks. Which is supposedly better than regular proof of stake because all that is needed with POS is a large lump of currency. With DPOS, how will users know who to vote for? Is there more than just usernames to base ones reputation on?
