Yeah but there is a problem now... OX PROTOCOL TOKEN BECOMES WORTHLESS! READ ON... We just received news in our CryptoMastermind Chat group on Slack OxProtocol Token / ZRX is going to be going through a 'hard fork'. Their development team has announced this on their Medium blog here: https://medium.com/hydro-protocol/why-we-are-forking-0x-97dc48ee0426The message that I'm getting from their developer's is that they are leaving the current investors of the ZRX token in the dust with their new 'hard fork'. There will apparently be no 1:1 distribution, so it really shouldn't be called a hard fork, that's deceiving and they are doing it to try to catch less heat with the ignorant subsection of the investors that don't understand the technology. This proves to us is that we should not 100% trust the judgement of Coinbase with their coin listings. This coin was only just added within the past couple of months, I believe it was their very first ERC20 token as well. And not it's becoming irrelevant and will be imminently dumped on the market. Just because a coin gets listed on Coinbase does not necessarily mean that it's a good long term investment. It ALSO goes to show that you need to stay up to date with your investments PERIOD... I usually don't get fazed by FUD news, but I do my research and I personally decided to liquidate my #ZRX stack, because things are clearly not stacking up well for this coin. |

Not many cryptos have been accepted by Apple for IOS apps. Ok, on April 30th my wallet stopped syncing. During this time it showed 126,000 of my coins "staking". A month and a half go by and I finally decide to delete and reinstall the wallet. I save the .dat from the wallet and then delete everything.
I reinstall the wallet, no problem, syncs just fine. Now, when I load up my .dat that i just saved from the original frozen wallet I now have a balance of 99 coins. The staking coins from the frozen wallet are missing.
Just to see what happens I load up a previous saved .dat from March and my balance is now 108,000 coins, but I'm still missing 18,000 coins. Wallet is synced up to the current block.
Any idea why I can't seem to get my full balance when I load up any of these past .dat files?

I would be willing to wager that not one of these naysayers watched the periscope presentation with the developers that occurred at the beginning of the month, maybe you should all go seek out the recording and watch it in order to figure out what is going on. Right now BTCP is sitting its all time lowest price in such short time. This was the fork about which some people were having big expectations but no one was expecting a decline of this kind and this fast. It has done apparently without existence on main exchanges and this is pressing it downwards.
We can conclude the coin is dead. No major exchange will take this coin. Coinbase at least announced that they will be adding support to provide withdrawals of all legitimate bitcoin forks in the coming future. You need to get your facts straight. The hack was not the fault of XEM / NEM code, it was due to the way the Coincheck exchange was coded, it was clearly their fault. Things are looking pretty bright for the future of Stellar Lumens with this ICO pre sale starting tomorrow. Enter if you haven't already and HODL. Remember ICO is what primarily drove the price of ETH to where it is today. Stellar is providing a solid new platform for ICO's and this is likely not going to be the first. No way that Stellar will remain as low as it is through the next year.

Since last week I have a constant issue with my wallet....
Each time I have to sync it, the process stops at around 58 000 blocks remaining and is stuck there.
Unable to complete the process. I close and reopen... and that does not change.
Several time, I deleted all files to start again... but nothing helps....
Any idea?
You need to download the new wallet version from the Hempcoin website: http://hempcoin.org/There was an update at some point. Just take a backup from your current wallet, and reinstall the new wallet and use your backup to restore your funds. |
