1  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: November 14, 2013, 07:28:11 PM
Hey,

I've had many successful, on time bets paid with bit365 before, but it looks like there some trouble going on. I'd just like to make sure this parlay bet: www.bitcoinsports.eu/bet/b0b07 doesn't get overlooked. It doesn't even show that payment was ever received, but the exchange on the blockchain can be seen https://blockchain.info/tx/7f5c6c1d47f1ebb3061090d196d20a3f5e923db357357debc2208b8b3a4705fc

Thanks

The total amount of fiat currency in circulation is some on the order of 10 trillion dollars (this changes over time so really one order of magnitude is all the accuracy needed for this estimation). Because there is a limit on how many bitcoins there will ever be of ~20 million, if bitcoin one day replaces fiat and has a similar market cap, each bitcoin would be valued at ~$500,000. It isn't really expected for bitcoin to become an entirely universal currency anytime soon, numbers like $10,000 or $100,000 show up.

Well, a sold 1 hour of being level is about as stable the bitcoin has been in the past week. People might be looking for the kind of stability around a month or so ago, but I would bet it fluctuates at least a little more.

But it only becomes 1% of the world economy if more people continue to buy into bitcoins and use them. Spending a small amount might help yourself in the long run when bitcoins aren't worthless.

Buying 20 minutes ago near $50 was apparently a good idea, already back in the mud 60s

Hey, bit coins seem like a pretty good idea, and now I'm here. I invested today, after being first exposed to bit coins in July 11. They kind seemed like a bad investment just then, but now I wish I would have bought a ton then.
