1  Economy / Gambling / Re: HOW DO I KNOW THE CASINO'S SERVER SEED IS FAIR? on: September 18, 2018, 11:21:23 PM
Hi Joel thanks for participating, I’ve verified the roll and everything seems to match but question is, how do I know that the number generated by the server seed (the casino’s side) was indeed a random number from 1 to 100 and that they didn’t modify their algorithm so their server seed only generates number from 1 to 20 for example.

Hi guys, I know all provably fair casinos (for dice games anyway) create the roll result by combining their server seed + the client seed but how can you know if the seed generated by the casino server is truly fair? What if you were betting on rolls 10> but they altered their seed so it has a bigger chance of generating a <10 number? Thanks.

I know man, a lot of people prefer to store their own bitcoins.

Me personally I don't like having them in my computer that's why I prefer online wallets (with apps for easy access). Unfortunately the ones we currently have are not the greatest, but I'm hopeful we'll see some decent services in the future.

Hi Alley, thanks for replying.

What do you mean they removed all mentions of bitcoins from their site? It still says "Buy / Sell Bitcoin"  Huh

What are your experiences with these 2 services? I'll start:

Coinbase

It was a nightmare since the beginning, I created the account and I couldn't buy any bitcoins because my account "wasn't authorized" or some shit like that, I emailed them and never got a reply, I went to their forums and after a week finally someone unblocked my account so I could start using it.

It was fine for a while but then one day I had a few purchases already scheduled and and forgot to transfer funds to my bank account, when I realized that I figured no problem, I'll just add them now but guess what, they blocked my account and I got an error message while trying to purchase more bitcoin saying that I needed to re-verify my information.

I emailed them and as usual there was no reply (I don't even know why they have an email), I went to their forums again and there was also no reply, in fact they never really reply to anyone, their service is garbage, I got pissed and ended up transferring all my bitcoins to my Circle wallet.

Circle

They were amazing since the beginning, in less than 5 min. after creating my account I had already purchased my first bitcoins, their app works really well and I've never had any problem with them, in fact you can even chat with them on Facebook unlike Shitbase.

My only issue with Circle is that the purchase limit is too low, about $300 a week, with Coinbase it is $2000 daily. If Circle could increate their purchase limit and had a good marketing campaign they could seriously overtake Coinbase.

Does anyone know of other good alternatives to those 2? We seriously need some good competitors ASAP.
