For the record, the last two editions/updates of the Summary Overview pushed the doc schedule from Dec. back to sometime in between Jan. - March.  When we didn't launch in August it pushed everything back.  Yes, its vital we release the strongest content possible.   We only get one chance for a first impression.

That's a great insight.  We've been planning on making our slack public soon and also keep telegram going.  With slack - because security breaches/hacks are so easy and common - every user would be required to use 2fa, which could potentially cut down on trolling as well?  There's different considerations to both and we're currently weighing them. 

No its not out of fear of a dump.  It's because Ethereum's geth nodes are under a "contract attack" and its causing issues with the wallets.  They're fixing it.

We've been building SingularDTV for more than 2.5+ years.  We had grown an organic, grass roots following in the crypto and entertainment community and were looking forward to launching at the end of August, beginning of September.  Our extensive security audit pushed our launch back, and by the time we were ready, Devcon 2 happened which delayed us further.  Had we launched in late Aug/early Sept I am certain much more of our core, long time following would have gotten in.  It would have been a slower, and very different launch.  But it was Devcon and the fact that so many speculators missed out on First Blood that frenzied our token launch.  The day after First Blood a new type of token buyer focused on us that we had not encountered before.  They wanted the next best thing and that happened to be us.  I am glad we had a small pool of SNGLS reserved to distribute to our long term supporters who were pushed out of Sunday's launch.  And discovering who some of these larger buyers are says to me they understood the technology behind our Smart Contract System, as well as our CODE structure (Centrally Organized Distributed Entity) and how innovative and groundbreaking it is.  It's easy to imply others are Bernie Madoff when you don't have context nor the history our long term supporters do.  I invite you to our website to watch our videos and get to know who we are: https://singulardtv.com/videos  I also invite you to our blog and to read the many articles we have published about who we are: https://medium.com/@SingularDTV

It's amazing, the night before our launch...

The primary reason for the 2 year lock is to demonstrate to the World Audience that this is not a short term venture for SingularDTV founders/devs.  We are in it for the long term, to build a platform with long term utility.  The most important thing to us/SingularDTV is to build a decentralized entertainment industry.  Of course this will take much longer than two years.

During this two years we strive to add tremendous value to the SingularDTV ecosystem and develop an important strategic position in the space.  When the Vault unlocks there are 1 of 2 things that will occur.  1.) We initiate another lock, or 2.) use tokens to further develop the ecosystem.   We have a specific 2 year plan outlined, but still many emergent considerations will come into play that are unknown or unforeseen.  In building a decentralized entertainment industry our focus is on being a participant in what we believe will become a multi-billion dollar smart contract rights management industry in the next 3-5 years.  We will utilize company resources to the best of our ability and vision so that we give SingularDTV and its ecosystem the best chance possible to do something progressive and important - or as important as an entertainment/tech platform can be.

Our platform is greatly inspired by the decentralization tenet of transparency.  It is why we have teamed up with Balanc3 to ensure real-time auditing of all SingularDTV transactions in both crypto and fiat and to make them available on the blockchain for all the public.  So we are happy to answer any questions you may have.

LAUNCH DATE/TIME ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to announce that our launch prep has gone smoothly.  Not only are we able to announce an exact time, we are also able to move the date forward as well.
 
SingularDTV will be launching its SNGLS ecosystem on:

Sunday, Oct. 2 at 9am EST / 9pm GMT+8.

Due to overwhelming demand we are projecting a quick launch.  We originally intended our "First Contact List" to give our most dedicated supporters the heads up - first and foremost to ensure they are able to participate - but our list has grown quite large.  We hope every one of you will have time to secure SNGLS but in the event anyone is left out, you will be able to buy SNGLS on exchanges shortly after the launch has completed (we hope about a week or so after).  

The founders/devs decided on the date of Sunday, Oct 2, 9am EST / 9pm GMT+8 because it seemed the most democratic time/date.  It is during "normal", waking hours for both the East and West.  It is SingularDTV's intent to hopefully have SNGLS holders from all over the world rather than concentrated in just one region.  

The process for disseminating launch info/announcements - Contract addresses and such - go first to the First Contact List, 2nd to our website and then to this Bitcointalk thread, SingularDTV's official Medium Blog and Ethereum/SingularDTV reddit.  In order to avoid any potential misinformation or spam attacks, please verify all official SingularDTV announcements from at least 2 sources, our website being one of them.  And please don't hesitate to contact us anytime if you have questions, contact@singulardtv.com.

The moment we launch SNGLS buy functionality will appear in the Lightwallet.  You'll be able to buy SNGLS from exchanges after the token launch.

It is safe to buy SNGLS with our SingularDTV Lightwallet.  We are being cautious calling it a "Beta".  It is the same wallet tech that Jaxx, Metamask and lightwallet.io use.  We consider it "Beta" because it has not been out in the world and used/tested as long as "Mist/Ethereum wallet".  After it has been out in the world longer the "Beta" label will be removed, just like what happened with the Mist/Ethereum Wallet at one point.

I have been using the SingularDTV Lightwallet for several months.  I use it like a "hot wallet" and store larger amounts in Mist or in Icebox cold storage, but that is my personal preference. 

Yes, Yang works for SingularDTV China in our Shanghai location.  Yes, my QQ number is 2264928004.

GF, there is no need to interface with any contract addresses in the SingularDTV Lightwallet, all addresses are already connected with this wallet.  As soon as we launch, SNGLS buy functionality will appear automatically in the SingularDTV Lightwallet. 

The "SingularDTV Contract Token Address" is only for adding SNGLS storage/send/receive functionality for myetherwallet or Mist.  See this instructional video to see how it works with Mist, https://singulardtv.com/videos?ytid=-YpG9N3s2NI .  This video explains the importance of the "SingularDTV Crowdfunding Address" and the SingularDTV Token Address".

Myetherwallet is based on the same format as Mist but not the same functionality.  This is why you can store/send/receive SNGLS in myetherwallet but not buy them from myetherwallet.  Best to use Mist to buy, or to buy with the SingularDTV Lightwallet, then send your SNGLS tokens to myetherwallet if you wish to store them there.   

You can send/receive/store SNGLS in mywtherewallet but you'll need to buy them from Mist or the S-DTV Lightwallet first. 

To setup myehtherwallet to send/receive/store SNGLS, go to the "Send Tokens" section.  Add a new custom token.  So after clicking "Custom" add the "SingularDTVToken contract address" to "Address", then in the "Token Symbol" field put "SNGLS" and "Decimals" as  "0".  Press "Save"

Then you'll see "SNGLS" added to the "Token Balance" section to the left.

Yes, ETH can be sent/received to the SingularDTV Lightwallet now and stored there as well.  I've been using the SingularDTV Lightwallet for several months.  I tend to use it personally as a "hot" wallet and store larger amounts in Mist or in Icebox cold storage.
