Same here. I wish I could have hosted a Group Buy, as electricity is just 0.0775 $/kWh where I live, but having no reputation whatsoever... It probably wouldn't have worked out. =P

I'd like to be able to participate in one of the many group buys for Avalon's third batch. I've made a few posts here and there in the newbie section, but it seems I'm running afoul of the "4 hours online" requirement. If my contributions are deemed to be enough, I would like to get out of newbie status to get a share in a mining operation. =)

As hellfrozenow said, LocalBitCoins might be a good option for you. I don't know if there are any sellers near where you live, but if so it would be quite a bit easier than verifying an account online - plus you'd get to keep your privacy! =)
