No, it won't help in eradicating gambling addiction but could be cause of severe addiction. Let's say if a casino implements something like that then the gambler will have deposit limits on that single casino and these days gamblers can choose between 100's of casinos and even if each casino does that then again the gambler will be able to gamble on each casino with those limits and it won't help to remove that addiction if he/she develops.

You're totally wrong, in trading a good trader can predict somewhat accurate value of an asset and even if someone isn't lucky as gambler still he/she can make profits as a trader.

I agree with you, one should always play for long with low value bets to get some jackpots rather than playing with high value bets especially in slots. The ones who play more bets often get higher chance to have a jackpot than the ones with low number of bets but luck can also play its game sometimes.
