6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: January 04, 2017, 08:25:48 PM
Not getting into bitcoin and mining of it the first time I've actually heard about it, somewhere in 2011-2012... eh..
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need a wallet recommendation ??? on: January 04, 2017, 08:21:52 PM
I'd recommend you, personally, blockchain.info one. I've created it a while ago and didn't replace it, and I've never had any problems with it. I don't know why people are avoiding it. :/
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to explain what it bitcoin to a beginner? on: January 04, 2017, 08:19:38 PM
You need to keep it simple, when I first started reading about bitcoin, all I saw was some numbers, letters like SHA, ASIC, NODES, MINING,etc... and I've had no idea what is that... so you might try avoinding all those fancy terms and just keep it simple as you can and focus on ways of making btc, transactions, how easy it is to keep them and also the price of bitcoin, that caught my eye for the first time. Cheesy

I've learned a lot about bitcoin via youtube videos. There are many out there that will explain you everything you need and want to know, at slow and easy to understand language. Try checking out some.

Hello! I've been speaking to my friend about bitcoin and I got really interested so he told me to come here. I've been told that you can recommend me the best setup to start with bitcoin like wallet, websites to earn some bitcoins and such. I've read the pinned threads but is there maybe something else for me to know before I start? Thanks.
I recommend mycelium as your btc wallet, but earning btc i only can recommend you signature campaign, gambling and trading. You can ask google for some other ways to earn btc.

Why mycelium? I've created a wallet on the first service I've stumbled upon and that being blockchain.info one and I don't see that many people recommending that one, and I've never had any problems with that one since. Why's that? I mean what makes one wallet better than the other? is it just a security question or...?

12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: December 31, 2016, 11:32:25 AM
In fact, the existence of God does not matter, it is common sense, logic, based on the two reasons, based on rational morality. Maybe religion is not necessary, but faith is indispensable. Even if there is no God, a God must be made.

and due to lack of knowledge and fear of the unknown, a God was made.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: December 31, 2016, 10:57:16 AM

But is says to do so in the Bible.... so why do you not follow the bible?

Stats I already answered your question but you may have missed it upthread so I will try one last time.

Let's look at another similar example.

Exodus 31:14
"Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death; for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people."

According to your interpretation stats we should execute everyone we see working on Saturday?
Personally I feel that such an action would violate the Biblical prohibition on murder don't you?

What is the actual meaning? I think it means is that if we work 7 days a week we make slaves of ourselves separating ourselves from our families and communities and over the long run doing so is extremely bad for us  even fatal. The Japanese call this Karōshi literally death from work.

The following five minute clip from Prager university covers this in more depth.
https://www.prageru.com/courses/religionphilosophy/remember-sabbath

I have noticed that bible has a few stuff that contradict one another like that one and the problem is that we can't know and people are understanding is as they want to but as we know that one man didn't write the bible but a few of them, that can happen since they probably weren't writing the bible books over skype. :p

It's isnt free because people working in a public transport need salaries too.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin investment on: December 26, 2016, 10:38:01 PM
Whats the best and safest bitcoin investment. Where small bitcoin investment yeilds large amount of bitcoins. Is there any one?? Please don't suggest any fake one

Safe investment? Every investment is more less a gamble of some sort, one day it can be one thing where the price is going u pwhen u bought it for low and it can also drop down making you lose money...
16  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is running a bitcoin faucet still worth it? on: December 26, 2016, 09:37:33 PM
Is it still worth it to own a bitcoin faucet, are people still using it? If i would make one, is it possible to add my site to some kind of rotator or not? Anyone who could give some info about this?

Don't think so, maybe some "faucet" with some twist. Rather than a regular faucet, combine faucet with watching ads and the more ads one opens more will earn from the next withdraw. I don't know, think of something. Cheesy
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: December 26, 2016, 12:07:26 AM
Indeed, after the currency broke away from the provision of precious metals, their main function is supported only means of payment agreement, the participants of economic relations.
I strongly believe in the power bitcoin, because the total number of coins in the system is limited to the top 21 million coins algorithm, so in theory the coin must go up. And this is the main attraction today is generated about half that amount, then the price will rise more in some times.
Good our believe can make bitcoin more stronger and we will be support bitcoin and i hope bitcoin will be more and more increase its price and then we will be get a big profit from bitcoin.
That is the reason i think why people are staying in bitcoin because they are getting the benefits of price increase unlike other currency. and other payment methods. online.. bitcoin payment is just the same as other payment processor like in perfect money that fewer users only are using it..
We are supporting bitcoin for using bitcoin and i am also believe in bitcoin that more adoption will come that can affect the value of each bitcoin..
as people say when you hold a bitcoin indirectly you're investing, all people have believe each and i believe bitcoin is strong and will continue to strengthen
Well for now bitcoin is strong because many people are hoping and believing in bitcoin since they are earn as of now and getting the benefits of price increases.. and i think bitcoin is growing and growing we are seen many changes from last year and now i seen a lot of changes and many company are accepting  bitcoin as payment right now that actually it gives more strong for bitcoin..

It's strong and growing stronger in price and usage and the implementation in wider variety of businesses. I can't wait to see what will be of bitcoin in 2017/2018. :d
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: December 26, 2016, 12:05:57 AM
I've heard it from a friend. I've seen bitcoin somewhere being mentioned and later he reminded me of bitcoin while we chatted and that's when he got me into the whole bitcoin talk. Smiley
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: December 24, 2016, 04:12:45 PM
if you have money to invest, buying would be the greatest source. If you have a huge amount of money to invest, mining bitcoin or some alt-coins might be very good, but if you don't have that much money and time to invest, signature campaigns and small tasks in service section can be a good source too.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: December 24, 2016, 04:11:01 PM
Well bitcoin is basically money, and teenagers are quite interested in money. I'd try explaining how can they earn some, how cna they keep it and recieve it easly and most of all, how easy it is for them to spend them anywhere, also keeping the bitcoin can teach them about saving money.
