2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card top 6 on google search 2016 on: December 21, 2016, 02:52:33 PM
Here is good list of bitcoin debit cards https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1410577.0

E-coin was re-branded to wirex and quite surprised to see uquid on 4th position as they are pretty new service. I am using cryptopay debit card which is working smoothly and they even have feature to unload balance from card back to account balance which is quite good feature.

I have to say that I haven't had best service with wirex. Sent money one time and never received it. No response from them either. The amount wasn't to high but anyway...

did you make report about it.

it not matter about $1 or $10000. when we using a service we have right to get satisfaction.

you should make report for another people aware of that

5  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Would it be legal to create new crypto? on: September 16, 2016, 10:15:50 PM
I am from India and bitcoin is not illegal here nor it is regulated.Reserve Bank, the central bank, says it is still watching bitcoin revolution www.indiabitcoin.com/reserve-bank-of-india-governor-raghuram-rajan-speaks-about-bitcoin/ .
My question is if I create a cryptocurruncy (Some new Alt coin),will I be doing something illegal? Can I be put behind bars for creating a parallel currency,if it gets widely accepted?

I think if you not growing fast that will be ok. if it growing fast, then you get stop by india government

12  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Taxes on Bitcoin on: September 11, 2016, 10:39:43 PM
Hi Everybody,

When getting Satoshi/Bitcoins from the internet in general, could you please tell me whether you have to pay tax to the country you get them from or do you just pay taxes to your own country?

Thanks for your help.

You pay tax for your country if you make money from bitcoin
you do not have to pay tax if you just using as a payment method
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / do you think litecoin price will go up soon ? on: August 31, 2016, 11:27:26 AM

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is litecoin core 0.10.4.0 infected with a virus ? on: August 31, 2016, 11:08:57 AM
I do not think most of you realize how serious this is. If it is really infected by a virus then the website could be hacked. If it is then how many nodes are affected?

we still waiting for reply from them. hope someone can give us answers
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: August 24, 2016, 11:04:39 PM
The end of the line for ETH and DAO, another scamcoins dying.

Long life to BITCOIN AND LITECOIN, the only real cryptos, the rest are only trash coins like Ethereum, DAO and other pre-mined pump and dump trashcoins

http://uk.businessinsider.com/dao-hacked-ethereum-crashing-in-value-tens-of-millions-allegedly-stolen-2016-6 AND https://blog.ethereum.org/2016/06/17/critical-update-re-dao-vulnerability/

Yes yes, Ethereum is better than Bitcoin

Ethereum is better than Litecoin

bla bla bla

How a pre-mined scamcoin piramid scheme PUMP AND DUMP can be better than Bitcoin and Litecoin ??

Guys, I will repeat

There are only 2 "REAL" crypto in the world -> BITCOIN and LITECOIN

The rest are just pump and dump scam coins to make some whales rich fast like a rain

hahahahhahahahah R.I.P for everyone

I'm enjoying my 4,000 (and buying moar) Litecoin

See you all when litecoin @ $100 each

Really expected litecoin come to 100$ and bitcoin 1000$
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin core 0.10.4.0 on: August 22, 2016, 02:55:49 PM
It looks like the site has been compromised and is now serving an infected version of Litecoin windows client.

https://www.virustotal.com/pt/file/bb9cb2bef36311f7e7f4815dcf7696161f8775108f8767f14bd4e3330935e98d/analysis/1471334858/

Really? This must be stickied and everyone must be alerted. We do not want the community affected badly by this.

Could it be that this is also connected to bitcoin.org's warning? I speculate there is a serious attack versus cryptocurrencies. This is the warning on bitcoin.org

"Bitcoin.org has reason to suspect that the binaries for the upcoming Bitcoin Core release will likely be targeted by state sponsored attackers. As a website, Bitcoin.org does not have the technical resources to guarantee that we can defend ourselves from attackers of this calibre. We ask the Bitcoin community, and in particular the Chinese Bitcoin community to be extra vigilant when downloading binaries from our website."

https://bitcoin.org/en/alert/2016-08-17-binary-safety

we still waiting reply from litecoin.org
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is litecoin core 0.10.4.0 infected with a virus ? on: August 19, 2016, 06:11:43 PM

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is litecoin core 0.10.4.0 infected with a virus ? on: August 19, 2016, 09:55:13 AM
where online wallet is recomended not exchanger, i see litecoin dot org not remonded link wallet online
For the people who need an online wallet:

I run LiteVault, which is an online wallet similar to Blockchain.info - we have over 20,000 users, and many other big LTC people such as TheMage, Losh11, and Coblee are happy to recommend it.

Check it out at https://www.litevault.net

Can you see my private keys?
No. Your keys are all encrypted with AES encryption before sending to the server, we never see the keys in any readable format.

What about my password? Can you see that?
No. We cannot see your password, we don't store a hash, and it's NEVER SENT TO THE SERVER, NOT IN ANY FORMAT.

Are there any fees?
There are NO FEES. If you like the service, please donate so that I can keep it free.

Thank you this information
that seem good with no fees
I will try it out soon
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is litecoin core 0.10.4.0 infected with a virus ? on: August 17, 2016, 04:00:02 PM
Use an online litecoin wallet instead . the one you installed might harm your pc ?

where online wallet is recomended not exchanger, i see litecoin dot org not remonded link wallet online

do not use online wallets and certainly do not use an exchange site for storing any coins not only litecoin because of the risks these methods have.

the wallet is safe and as it was mentioned it is a false report. but you should always check the signature of the wallet file you download to make sure it is not a compromised copy.

also if you have trouble with core you can use Electrum version of the wallet, there is actually an Electrum-ltc wallet available.

Can we make restore from litecoin core to electrum-ltc ?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is litecoin core 0.10.4.0 infected with a virus ? on: August 16, 2016, 03:50:23 PM
I am not in the position to judge if there is something fishy with the 10.4.0 binaries for windows, I have no windows and not much experience in nowadays virus threats but I for myself would certainly not touch the 10.4.0 windows wallet with above info at hand.

That's what I meant when I answered to Spoetnik's post. It's a long shot, but I hope that Charlie Lee will answer to my tweet and clear up the confusion.

Yes I hope he will have time to look at this issue
