or both. as there is no big player in the bitcoin world that didn't turn out to be a criminal, it's more likely that he's still alive. what do you think was satoshi's crime he went to prison for?

that fool chillen in Jamaica with millions..

9  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / A little help and clarification please? on: November 13, 2013, 05:50:19 PM
Ive searched throughout the forum and I am confused as to what I need to use for my application development.

Background: I am developing an application that requires each user to have a separate address.

I have installed bitcoind, and downloaded the block chain. I am using ubuntu server with the bitcoin ppa. I come across two services, bitcoind and bit coin-qt. Im confused as to what each does. Is it possible to generate address soly with bitcoind? I understand that bitcoind is strictly for use with the RPC? How would one generate an address using the rpc and bitcoin-qt

Please do not be harsh, I am completely new to bitcoind development.

13  Economy / Service Discussion / Anyone ever used btcebook.com on: October 24, 2013, 03:58:31 AM
I found this website btcebook.com
They seem to mask selling BTC by providing it as a gift with purchase of an ebook. I guess its a way to circumvent paypals TOS and possible chargebacks? To me it looks scammy. i might try it out with there small option. What do guys think? yah or nah?

14  Economy / Lending / Re: Restore Wrong Doings on: October 20, 2013, 11:40:03 PM
Ya know, whats funny about this whole thing is that I wasn't trying to scam. I was attempting to consolidate a debt and repay my bad debts, while attempting to reestablish user faith. In reality I didn't have to bring this to this forum. No one here knew of it. 300-400$ isn't a huge deal for me, however due SEVERAL bitcoin transition sites being down, i looked for an alternative route.

With that being said, my debts will be resolved either way. Thanks!
