1  Economy / Economics / Re: We must build a new exchange rate system on: December 01, 2016, 08:22:23 PM
....Errr no. The exchange rate of BTC isn't based on just supply. This article provides a rather good and simple explanation: https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/kb/what-determines-bitcoins-price/

Through a number of cases the Supreme Court has created a framework for speech and expression that is NOT protected under the first amendment. This includes actions that deter from a legitimate government function that isn't directly related to the speech. This includes, burning a draft card (war effort) or burning money (regulating commerce), but not burning the flag.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2016, 05:19:35 PM
I don't really think anybody could convince me beyond a reasonable doubt that they were Satoshi.

My 'fun' theory is that Satoshi is Hal Finney, or he was part of the group that is Satoshi, and he is dead.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 19, 2016, 12:18:48 AM
I see more and more acrticles of bitcoin being used for illegal activities
will this hurt bitcoin in the long run , will governments ban this just like they started to do wih paying in cash for some services
to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering

Government can't ban Bitcoin, that's the whole point.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: August 20, 2016, 02:17:07 AM
I'm not fully sure how to interpret your question, but Bitcoin can disappear in a sense. If a wallet is lost, the Bitcoin is essentially lost. It will no longer be part of the active bitcoin economy as it is impossible to use.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: August 20, 2016, 02:07:16 AM
Yes- it was totally my fault. My hard disk drive died and I had no wallet backup. It was only about $15 USD at the time. Overall, a valuable lesson.
