Windows QT wallet is removed by Malwarebytes as Generic.Malware/Suspicious. This is the only QT wallet that I have run into that is removed by Malwarebytes, and I do have BCI's and GLT's QT wallets currently running.

I mined my 20,000 CMM, but I can't seem to find the info to become a masternode
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: August 10, 2018, 08:15:17 AM
Why is MultiPool.us integration removed? Should we stay away from there? Did something happen that I missed?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][P2POOL] p2pool nodes on p2p-spb.xyz on: May 25, 2018, 12:09:53 AM
I've been mining on Gamecredits p2pool, and just noticed that the last block found was from over 24 hours ago. generally, they have been every 10-15 minutes. did something happen?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: February 12, 2018, 07:57:00 AM
hello to everyone.
I would like to ask one thing.
I have two rig:
1. 2x1080ti ( 2x670 Sol/s)
2. 2x1070ti (2x470 Sol/s)
Both of them mining ZCL
I start them in same time. After 3 hours i notice that first rig has 100 Shares accepted and second rig has 250 shares accepted.
The settings of miner all is same. How this is possibile that 1070Ti has much more Share found then 1080ti?
Thank you in advance.

Probably the 1070Tis are submitting lower difficulty shares faster than the higher difficulty shares submitted by the 1080Tis. If you check your earnings, after some time to account for variance, they should be proportionate to the difference in their hashrates (percentage-wise).
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Suprnova.cc scam?! on: February 02, 2018, 12:31:20 AM
I am noticing a hashrate discrepancy when mining ZEN that does not seem happen when I mine BTG. My hashrate, more or less, on the poolside of btg.suprnova.cc matches EWBF - I realize there will be some shares luckier than others, so there will be some fluctuance. The problem I have is that zen.suprnova.cc is consistently displaying a 25% lower hashrate than what EWBF shows. It is the same algo, same mining software, and the same settings. What is going on here? Why does BTG seem to be okay, while ZEN doesn't pass the sniff test.

I have been lobbying for suprnova.cc recently after getting scammed by pools like pool.gold who steals like 75%, minertopia isn't nearly as bad as them, zpool who doesn't pay, and even MPH which seemed like an honest pool until I started noticing rewards degrading to a consistent 10% reduction in rewards vs expected rewards over a period of several weeks. That is why I switched to mining BTG on suprnova.cc, and my rewards are right on, just not with ZEN.

I'm not, nor is anyone else here looking for excuses about DDoS or explanations about variance and luck. Just fix the issues. And I will keep my miners pointed there for a bit longer to see if anything changes. If it doesn't, I will just simply go somewhere else and stop lobbying for you.

Thanks,

Dave
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] dstm's ZCash / Equihash Nvidia Miner v0.5.8 (Linux / Windows) on: January 02, 2018, 04:20:55 PM
Well done, thanks. And to all those complaining about the dev fee, don't download it. If you want something for free, go find a different, slower miner. If you want improvements to this miner, then support the developer.

If two miners are charging a 2% devfee but one of them is faster and just as stable than the other is it not fair to say the slower miner's devfee is too high? That doesn't mean the devfee for the slower miner should be 0% (unless it really sucks), just that it either needs to reflect its second place position or else improve.

I was just saying that if you want something for free, it's probably going to be slower, not that slower means it needs to be free. C'mon, man.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] dstm's ZCash / Equihash Nvidia Miner v0.5.8 (Linux / Windows) on: January 02, 2018, 07:46:30 AM
With EWBF, I was getting ~790-805 Sol/s with my 3 1080 Ti's and  ~555-570 Sol/s with my 1080.

With DSTM's, and without touching anything, I am getting a solid average of 822-825 Sol/s & 586 Sol/s, respectively.

Well done, thanks. And to all those complaining about the dev fee, don't download it. If you want something for free, go find a different, slower miner. If you want improvements to this miner, then support the developer.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: January 02, 2018, 02:07:48 AM
I am connected to port 17023 for equihash, and it had been mining equihash, but not always what the hub says it is mining. For example, zclassic is the most profitable, and that it's what the hub says for equihash, but my money is mining zencash. It does switch around, so it seems to be connected right. Please help, thanks

As I understand it, if you're connected to port 17023 for Equihash mining, it will NOT switch you to another Equihash coin until the current block you're mining is complete.

I think I might have read that somewhere, thanks. Given the low hashrate on that pool, I wonder if I disconnect my miner if it will start me over on the best coin, because it is still mining zencash

Edit- I don't know where it gets which coin is more profitable, because whattomine.com says zclassic is $16/day more profitable for my 3k rig than zcash, which is what it decided to mine now - $40/day vs $24/day. I do not believe that at any time in the last 20 minutes that zcash was more profitable when the gap is that big. Unless the USD/zec is that much better, could be.

11  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: November 27, 2017, 03:51:44 PM
Running on any node is better then supporting centralization like antpool. Some people don’t have the technical expertise to get these setup

It would also help if the instructions to set-up a node were more detailed, less fragmented, and actually included the steps and actual dependencies needed for each distro. Each time I set-up a node in the past, it's was a pain because I didn't write down everything that was needed, and I just had to keep installing new dependencies after each error. I did post the dependencies for new Ubuntu install a while back, but I think it was just ignored.

I'm giving up on P2Pool. It was a great idea, and my node did donate, but I think most did not, and that is probably why the developer doesn't seem to give a shit. Props to Jtoomim for trying to fix its shortcomings, but I was never included as part of a valid block - a couple of orphans I guess and an invalid block, but no payout. It could be successful with a little effort on the front-end, but it looks like that isn't desired. It would be nice to keep Bitcoin decentralized, but it seems like that is no longer a priority either.

Sory for the rant, it's just how I feel.
12  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: October 31, 2017, 06:34:40 PM
Sure hope jtoomim's fork finds a block soon, or I'm gonna have to bail. I'm trying to hang in there, but I wish we had a few more PH to bring down the expected time a little. I know that if I leave, the second my shares drop off, it'll solve a block, and I will have wasted a month with nothing but warm fuzzies to show for it.
13  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: October 17, 2017, 06:39:42 AM
P2Pool is ultimately forrestv's pool, and jtoomimnet is jtoomim's fork of forrestv's pool. forrestv is therefore under no obligation to promote or even acknowledge jtoomimnet, whether in his original post on this thread, on the main P2Pool GitHub, or on the official P2Pool webpage. The onus is on jtoomim to create his own thread for jtoomimnet if he wishes to make jtoomimnet more publicly known.

I was actually referring to forrestv's links on the first page of this thread, and if that was my first exposure to p2poool, I would have never given it a chance. It actually feels like an abandoned project when going to these links. Maybe everyone's turning off the donation, and he's not getting compensated for his work. I don't know. These are just some thoughts, and not meant to criticize forrestv - I'd just like to see p2pool get to a little bigger to help reduce variance, and increase decentralization.

This is all the info available to someone who might be interested in mining at p2pool:

P2Pool homepage: http://p2pool.in/ makes it seem as if you have to run your own node in order to mine at p2pool

P2Pool stats page, made by twmz: http://p2pool.info/ shows the last block was mined 2 years ago

Things that are not P2Pool (and just people running P2Pool): p2pool.org This is good if it was actually a link

Graphs: http://p2pool.info/ http://forre.st:9332/ These are turnoffs, and his own node has no stats

List of all blocks found: http://blockexplorer.com/address/1Kz5QaUPDtKrj5SqW5tFkn7WZh8LmQaQi4 not very promising if it shows the last block March 2016

P2Pool wiki page this is probably the reason I looked into p2pool further
14  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: October 16, 2017, 01:14:54 PM
That block was mined by Antpool, not p2pool. Looks like the pool is falsely reporting a block found or the pool is mining in antpool and not p2pool and it found a block for antpool. If the latter is the case and your not the pool's owner then you've been scammed.

Any verifiable nodes? Where to go? Nobody seems to care that it is impossible to find this fork if you weren't already following this thread. The info on the main page is outdated. The links are for pages that don't have current info. How is the hashrate gonna increase if it's not readily accessible to anyone? I'm gonna make my own node again, but not everyone can do it
15  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: October 16, 2017, 10:23:31 AM
I opened up the webpage for the p2pool jtoomim node that I am connected to, and it says there was a block found an hour ago, but there is nothing in my wallet. I checked another node, and the addresses listed did not receive anything either. It used to be instant, or do the coins need to mature now? It is a cold storage wallet, not an exchange. That's about $400 I should have received ~ .070 BTC

anyone can advice me ? i got this error . ERROR: Cannot resolve hostname
why is that so >? as i use steps as in webpage for BitcoiinZ mining ,.,,, my bat file --> miner --server ssl://ny1.minez.zone --port 5133 --user t1ZTGBW5zE2zo4WRXjJZzDHz1P6kHMP7UwQ --pass x

any ideas / whats missing ?

try stratum instead (stratum+tcp://ny1.minez.zone:5032) and report back

still the same error

You have the wrong port, here are their instructions from their website. Also, you don't need the stratum+tcp:// part:

// ZCash example:
miner --server ny1.minez.zone --port 3035 --user t1MFiPcvN8N3Tntfp75cn3idSNPqm4DogSD --pass x
//
// ZClassic example:
miner --server ny1.minez.zone --port 3034 --user t1Sp4pRyJSRqENK96t6Ecqe2ni8fAxw9Ux8 --pass x
//
// ZenCash example (note the address MUST start with "zn"):
miner --server ny1.minez.zone --port 3033 --user znbZSFM8Wq3PHhAcG21MWiJCB1ZPxLQjKSW --pass x
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.3 on: October 13, 2017, 10:16:57 AM
Dear gents, recently it appears a problem for my rig. After restart it enters directly in bios and it dont see the memory stick. If I restart it again the same story, bios again. I tried the memory stick on another computer and it starts properly. I tried also to put again the img on the memory stick. It did boot properly first time but after i restarted again the same story. I am using a Gigabyte GA-Z270P-D3. Do i miss any setting or there is something else?

Thank you!

I never could get it to boot from USB, even though every other USB boots just fine. I was using a 16GB stick, so maybe that was an issue. I just ended up writing the image to an SSD, and it worked just fine.

Are the blocks that are mined on jtoomin's fork empty, like they were on the main p2pool?

I haven't been on p2pool since around Christmas I think, but I remember them being mostly empty. I think when I was on, a few people were testing jtoomin's fork, but I thought that it was supposed to get merged with the main p2pool. Is that not the case anymore?

I found it hard to find, as there's no info about his fork anywhere. It's not really accessible, you have to know exactly what you're looking for - I had to ask on here. Maybe at least something on the first page, or are you trying to keep it small - I thought it was nice when the main p2pool was around 10PH.

It would be really cool if there was something like p2pool.org if it's not getting merged.

just some of my thoughts.

Any one can help me why from 2 gpu i get lower hashrate... ?
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=209ituf&s=9#.WccJ8tFRWUk

You shouldn't be overclocking memory when using this miner/algo. Turn that shit all the way to -502, the core clock is whats going to add Sols/s

Why does everyone say to underclock memory for equihash? I tried that, and I lose hashrate, and my Sol/watt also got worse. I have 1080 TI FTW3 Hybrids, so I crank the memory all the way up to stay right about 800 Sol/s.
20  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: October 04, 2017, 03:09:19 AM
I haven't been on p2pool-bitcointalk for a while, but I remember reading through the posts every day, and jtoomin, I believe had the version of p2pool to run. On p2pool.org, it shows it has been 83 days since the last block, so are they not running jtoomin's fork?

Is there a list somewhere of pools that are running the fork? Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but I looked through a bunch of pages without finding any info.

Thanks,

Dave
