Emailed bitinstant support yesterday, no reply.
Live Chat!? Not really live. Support Telephone Number? Recording. Likelyhood that i've been ripped off? Pretty high.

I'm gonna post enough to get out of newbie jail JUST so I can post about this in the Scammers forum. The word needs to get out.


UPDATE:

I just received a reply to my support email. I had entered my MtGox acct number in the bitinstant form as M########X (exactly what is listed on the MtGox Account Settings page). Bitinstant apparently requires just the numbers, not the letters. That fact is not explained anywhere. On top of that, my transfer confirmation email from bitinstant wrongfully claimed the funds were successfully transferred.

It seems bitinstant is not intentionally ripping people off, they just have a faulty process.
