In light of today's performance on MtGox, it looks like my first instinct was right. They say you should never change your mind as one is often correct the first time!
Care to elaborate and provide details as to how you "know" this is true? Or are you just guessing because it seems too good to be true? Note: I'm not trying to upset anyone here. I just am curious about first hand experiences people have had...
I guess rules have to be made by someone. Unfortunately, there is no way to know who is going to game a system. Anytime the system is evaluated by enough people, there will always be someone ready to twist or try to break the rules.
Wow! Over 80 thousand reads of this post/thread. It shows that people really are interested in taking BTC security seriously. With BTC nearing $100 each, it certainly makes sense to be cautious!
