Wow, unexpected answer. This forum has been hacked at least 1 time since 2016, for sure. Why is this information disclosed?

@awesome31312 you, yes you, should worry more about this issue  Shocked

Nice try, state sponsored Smiley. American gouverment always believes that some mighty power is causing their own failure.

Stating that any state would hack trumped forum full of spam is crazy, taxes are thrown away, but not on such stupid agenda.

Before you accuse some state, ie us says russia hacked DNC, please provide some good reasons for state sponsored hacking.

I will tell you where from such speculations come. If we accuse any state in sponsored hacking, then we should call this forum FBI's underground forum, especially because the owner has connections to the FBI. Do you agree?
Is this your theory about sponsored hacking? If not, does it come from FBI itself?

Maybe you meant law enforcement by state sponsored, can you clarify? Hodling for your answer  Grin

As mentioned above, a DDoS attack, by itself does not do anything to compromise data. Although I understand that DDoS attacks are sometimes used as a distraction to prevent/delay detection of a more serious breach. I am confident that if there was a breach that theymos would be able to quickly detect it and take corrective action.

I am curious to know what happens when someone attempts to access the forum from behind the GFW during times of DDoS attacks, especially when it is non-obvious that the request is coming from a VPN/VPS, and especially when the request appears to be from what could be "high value" potential hacking targets.

Can you reply to the question of this post?

Quoting the question:

bitcointalk.org, are you hacked or not? How many times have you been hacked since Jan/1/2016?

Changing passwords does not help if your forum represents swiss cheese.

5  Other / Meta / Re: How many altcoins announced per day? on: September 10, 2016, 09:10:40 PM
I'm wondering if anyone has made a statistic on how many altcoins are presented in the announcement section per day? Huh Thanks!

Enough to put many from bitcointalk.org in some orange suite.

I recommend you have your own personal account you built from scratch.  Cool

No! It is not!

Grin ask 50btc, not 1btc. bitcointalk would be the first buyer.

bitcointalk.org, are you hacked or not? How many times have you been hacked since Jan/1/2016?

Unless you have reported a large number of posts, have contributed to the moderation in some other way, have invested a significant amount of your time in helping the Bitcoin community in one way or another, or have an extensive trading history, or run some kind of Bitcoin related business, the chances of getting your username changed is basically zero.

Has theymos actually said this? Seems like a few people have had their name changed recently. Not sure if Cyrus has been doing it or not. Not sure it's a good idea though either. Half the forum will then want their name changing and this can easily lead to confusion.
No, but this seems to match the description of the people who have gotten their named changed.

It would also make little sense for theymos to take the time to do a favor for someone who does not at least meet a similar to above criteria. Why would theymos want to do any work for someone who has done nothing for him, nor the community as a whole? The same generally seems to be true in regards to those whose accounts he recovers.

Theymos and community? Snatch rat is helping his community? Who is community, 400K belong to 400 users. Is this community? Fuck theymos, get new account, forget/sell old one.
