1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney) on: April 21, 2013, 08:06:43 AM
I just read this thread coming from The Well Deserved Fortune of Satoshi Nakamoto, Bitcoin creator, Visionary and Genius.

For some reasons you remember me one of my best friends and as said by someone before me this is so inspirational. I will pray for you and I wish you the best.

Quote
Promise Yourself

To be so strong that nothing
can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity
to every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel
that there is something in them
To look at the sunny side of everything
and make your optimism come true.

To think only the best, to work only for the best,
and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others
as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past
and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times
and give every living creature you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself
that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear,
and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world,
not in loud words but great deeds.
To live in faith that the whole world is on your side
so long as you are true to the best that is in you.

(Christian D. Larson, Your Forces and How to Use Them)

Let's build a better world.

For the 4 exchanges being monitored, the total value of offers that have immediate buyers is 8701.06usd. Selling immediately, including market fees, earns 9024.57usd for a profit of 323.51usd (3.718%). Estimated transfer fees of 68.40usd adjust total profit to 255.11usd (2.909%)

5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: dayasinfo is a scammer, same as moneypackbuyer on: April 15, 2013, 09:08:37 AM
any news ?

I was victim of this one too.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc-e.com on: April 10, 2013, 04:07:23 PM
The trading range was 215/217 last night and today and it is now back to around 230. Its probably unsafe to trade with btc-e according to many posts I read here.

It seems there is a lot more people having problems with BTC/LTC transfers on BTC-E...

Check out this topic in newbie section:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170592.0

It is probably not safe to do any trading with BTC-E now, until they sort this out.

Many people were "locked out" of their accounts this weekend, with a "bad password" being reported. Which means it was a widespread security breach. I should not have to lose my 8565 LTC for something I had no fault in. I don't click trollbox links. The fact that it happened to multiple people on the same day leads me to believe that they could not handle the attack traffic effectively and were compromised to some degree. If anything, I want the IP address the withdrawal was requested from. Oh, and, I want my coins..Because the fault lies with you, unless you can tell me otherwise how all these accounts were compromised in one day.

EDIT: Now after they "reopened" my account yesterday, I cannot login AGAIN. Bad password..When I try to send a password recovery email, it says "Error: The database server is not available now, so the page cannot be displayed correctly." ...So like I said, ITS YOUR DATABASE/WEBSITE that is having security issues and just not working at all issues...

etc...

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost encrypted wallet.dat - Any help for recovery? on: April 10, 2013, 12:42:41 PM
You don't need the full wallet check the link !

Without hints for the numbers, words, patterns it impossible to recover.

PS : some people here are fair and honest btw and some did it in the past for free

11  Economy / Scam Accusations / bitcoinary.com is dangerous and their escrow service is very bad on: April 05, 2013, 11:57:35 AM
I was Victim of a scam

https://www.bitcoinary.com/trades/4183
by Empirecam aka markcleaver

He sent nothing after my money transfert (pp). Now he pretend he was scammed by me (!) and pretend I try to cancel the paiement after I receive his BTC.

My key was never use before and shows no operation.

There is no trace at all via http://blockexplorer.com/address/.....

It looks like this site is full of scammers
and offer escrow via newbie account !?

In another transaction the profile of the escrow was a new one created 24 hours after I registered and reply to an offer.

No assistance at all. Very suspicious since they are all based in London apparently. I suspect a gang.

Paypal is not safe at all.

Not for buying also.

They will not cancel if the bitcoins are not sent.
