The claymore port 5005 is not working. It is producing a JSON error. I am currently using the 5000 stratum port with the ETH/DCR dual miner and it seems to be working. Just wanted to bring it to your attention.

From what I can tell it is mostly a driver issue. Most successful miners are running the 16.40 or somewhere close to that but not earlier. I have asked around a couple forums and this seems to be the "catalyst" pun intended. My cards will not work with anything past 15.20 so for now I'm screwed but hopefully soon i guess.

Hey everyone I am fairly new to mining. Only mined one coin so far but looking around at some others. I want to try to GPU mine this if at all possible. Can someone point me to the directions to download/setup the miner? I already have the wallet downloaded just need the miner. Thanks in advance!!!!

do i need to "setgenerate true" in the wallet to mine properly or is that just for CPU mining? The GPU miner seems to be working but I'm not sure if that setgenerate was neccessary. I have not yet received any coins but I think its because the GPU keeps cashing every couple of hours. Any help would be cool. I'm brand new to all of this.

Basically, in your spreadcoin.conf (should be located in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\ - if there is none, simply create a .txt document, call it spreadcoin and change the extension to .conf) file you need to paste this:

Last thing, create a shortcut of spreadcoin.exe (wallet) and add -server to the location of spreadcoin. Launch with shortcut so we make sure your wallet starts on server mode.

Use this miner btw, some old versions doesn't support spreadalgo.

So I set it up exactly how you suggested and I am still getting the no GPUs usable error. It seems to not be able to access my GPU. I am running an AMD Radeon 6970. It was given to me to get started.

SUPER NOOB here. I cant get the miner to mine. This is my first attempt at any mining and It's just simply not working. Everything seems to be in working order without it actually working. I've tried different things and left it running all weekend with no results.
