A little over three years old, still works great. Would of course be much cheaper to get the same specs today.

I think your title says a lot about how you approached criticizing cryptocurrencies. The first thing I would ask you is do you think Bitcoin is novel? Do you think it was worth trying? The blockchain has applications. It will be used in the real world. I don't think a cryptocurrency will be replacing FIAT anytime, which is the marker of success you seem to have set. It already serves purpose for people without access to banking or those who wish to send money internationally. This is not something that will be even close to perfect out the gate, that is your erroneous assumption.

From my experience someone has to be interested in BTC to put forward enough effort to understand it. So I would just bring it up and see just how interested she is in learning more.

Sorry to hear that. It will hurt for awhile, but just remember you don't want people like that in your life anyway. This is your opportunity to find a better friend.

Hello everyone.im working as a emergency staff nurse in a hospital. So far i don't have any colleagues who are aware of bitcoin and altcoins. Any healthcare professional / allied medical here aside from me who is inclined into bitcoins?

It will be interesting to see how the blockchain will be applied to healthcare. Do you notice anything that could benefit from the blockchain in the healthcare field?

Sorry but if you don't have any bankroll management skills then you are not a good poker player because you will always end up with 0. One of the most important things about poker online or live is bankroll and knowing your stakes. I play every Sunday at Pokerstars but only MTT. I'm not bad I guess Wink

This. Bankroll management just might be the most important aspect of being a good poker player.

Make sure you have a few backups of your wallet. Better safe.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you use a decentralized communication network? on: September 18, 2016, 03:07:09 AM
I'm already using bitmessage, i think it's pretty nifty. A new network should at least have the same features to begin with...

Have a look at the new Byteball project, this wallet has AES encrypted chat built in!

Cool I will check these out. We are currently developing a decentralized network that has video/audio chat as well as screensharing and file sharing.

If you would, what capabilities would you want the network to have?
