5370338.6588815 BTC ICO Funds https://silknetwork.org/darksilk/ico The website shows 5 million btc fund?? I can't find the correct figure of ico fund, but 5 m is ovbiously wrong, anyone can tell me the real fund they raised? Who knows their website has been glitchy/non-functional since it was launched. |

Scammers everywhere. But i do have to say that the project that is dressed in years of drama does not change when a new team takes it over. 99% of all takeovers now days are not because the coin is just so amazing, its because someone with a large bag wants to put the effort into getting rid of them.  Ya win some ya lose some i guess. Lots more losing though these days anyways. |

I have personally lost 8 btc on this project from original scam to this one. The team raised approximately 100 000 dollars under the name Silk Network Ltd based out of the uk. Before the ico was even over they said there would be both a name changw of SiLK and dark silk as well as the corporation.
Any posts that argued this were deleted and now the lead dev is leaving the country and has locked the thread. I have started this thread so people can talk freely about the project. Im interested to see what else has been deleted. The thread turned into 3 or so fanboys or possibly shareholders continuing to push the agenda and call any discontent scammers or fudders.
Any info about spencer lievens would also be appreciated.

Well after not launching silk on time, not launching darksilk at all, consistently deleting everyones posts that got upset about this.. they have now decided to lock the thread entirely, swear off BCT and move everyone to skype.. As there should be a precense on bitcointalk (the ico was launched on bitcointalk), i have started this thread for discussion about Silk network and Spencer Lievens; as well as the community hub for Silk network on bitcointalk. Please post openly about the Silk Network and this developer so we may find out what is going on between the deleted posts. Thank you for your time and consideration. Less then 2,5h before the 70% btc bonus ends
Im curious to see what will happen to LISK price. 1st day of ICO was 32/33K sat, this week was 26/27K sat. I expect to see it at the price of a week ago 22k sat I think lisk Just get dumped cause btc get pumped. It seems i guess the prevision Lisk price is going down, actually 24k sat. What if price go under 10k ? supposing average price will be 14k sat, that means 120% bonus will be less than 30% btc bonus? Basically if Lisk price drops to 10k and we can't raise enough bitcoin to get to 2000k BTC then we'll refund all participants as we'll only be at the 1000 BTC mark with the current amount of exchanges. If early participants actually want to have a good bonus, they will also need to help us gain more participants in the upcoming weeks. Is not investment of lisk at the price when invested? I thought i read that it would averaged at the end of the day, not at the end of the ico. Any answer to this? |

We will not take months like people in the thread are saying, testing is starting with a new version with a lot of fixes today and more fixes are being carried out.
In term of catching up with Dash' work/commits, we are up to July/Sept 2016 of their work,
83 commits to DarkSilk in two days and still working on it, not long now people.
The 83 commits caught up from Aug/Sept 2015 - July/Sept 2016 or in other words we caught up one year in two days.
We are working fast and aim to deliver DarkSilk ASAP.

due to low vol. SILK moves to 10th page of bittrex, where almost every coin going to be delisted shortly
And yes quite frustrating as well, as soon as Silkcoin was launched on bittrex it was abandoned to 'finish' darksilk. The ico started and halfway through talk about a name change and major partnerships which were never announced or even hinted at. Why are you guys trying to kill your own work? Every investor not in your tight knit group of 10 people that posts here are chastized off this forum or deleted for relevant questions. Feel realy stupid for getting sucked into this. clearly a troll... low volume at bittrex means the devs abandoned the project? are you kidding me? ------- dontigua didnt invested nothing, otherwise he would already received the money back(just like @HORT and @Orestes i could buy his share)... he is here to troll and nothing more. let's just move on, i cant wait to see some news about the rebrand and/or dslk. Abandoned as is marketing.. absolutely nothing. And yes i will gladly take the offers of buyout if Darksilk is not launched within a reasonable amount of time as i said in a previous post 3-6 months is absolutely unacceptable. I never said i want my coins back now! That was the lynch mob yet again. I dont know why you all insist on smearing me. |

Work has been done to Silk, that is why it moved up from version 1.0.0.0 to version 1.0.1.1 The ICO funds were held in a 4/6 MultiSig address and at the end of the ICO, funds were distributed accordingly for work and time committed to the project. So the funds were placed in escrow to only be given to the development team? What is the point of that? Why not just use your personal wallet? What is the point of an escrow in this case? |

Why has nobody answered my question about the escrowed ico funds? Were the ico funds not escrowed, because i swear before investing into this i read and was told that ico funds would be held in escrow.

almost every ico have delay's... it's "normal".
but yeah, no communication is a problem... they should at least explain what happened.
but chill guys, wait a little before you start crying and asking for your money back... it's a big launch and a small team, one day isnt big deal.
Sorry about the lack of communication. Please wait for an official announcement but yes, there has been issues and a release delay. I am (or was if I don't get kick off) on the dev team and agree that we should have communicated our issues earlier. Days ago, I suggested that we let the community know about our issues and potential release delay but was overruled and/or ignored. This is no way to conduct business and gain trust.  ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Orestes please tell me again there is no issues with the team.. i honestly thought higher of you. And you will even higher after this weekend. I know why you are upset though. It is because you want this project to succeed, like we all do. It is because of this that you dared to invest, just like us. It is not the increased risk of loss that grieves you, it is the possible loss of the project. But that is a fallacy! The team is very much joined together and we will continue as usual. Now the production process that Silk Network has used because if its small size clearly is outdated and needs to be transformed. Much in the style MCDev pointed out. What has happened to use multiple times is that we had a public failure, much like this. But because community membery really do believe in this project, instead of forsaking it, they join in and help where they can. It's how I joined, and some others. Where it breaks, it grows stronger. The project needs more capable men, we always do, but we will pull through regardless. It just might take a bit longer... brick by brick. No i could care less about this project. Failed ico. Would like my bitcoins back if there will be any extended delay on release. Are my funds not in escrow as promised? Or did i misread the escrowed ico thing? |
