1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2018, 05:45:48 PM
I do not think it is too late. With the halving in 2020, price will be much more higher than today! And while it may seems cliché, I think we still are early adopters! Smiley

3  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc or Bcc on: August 16, 2017, 10:15:41 AM
BTC without any doubt. BCC is just an altcoin, so it is just as if you were comparing Bitcoin with Litecoin. These are two distinct things.
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: August 16, 2017, 10:12:11 AM
Personally I would not for the simple reason that I would not like it if someone offered it to me. Better offer some true gift rather than money, whatever it is.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: August 13, 2017, 10:06:51 PM
Yes they should. They have nothing to lose after all, and the amount of money they possess is usually low, so winning a bit will help them a lot.
how do you know that they possess low amount of money? You would not know the knowledge and experience of youngsters in the field of internet as well as in earning bitcoin, lot of youngsters have much bitcoin so that they can buy their own car. Betting is another personal interest of youngsters, we don’t know how much they want to bet.

I think he meant in general. That is true that many young students, yet not all of course, are having problems to find money and must work the summer to fund their studies.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO - The Ethereum of China (Invest before you regret) on: August 13, 2017, 10:04:10 PM
-Still viable and accessible via Bittrex to investors outside China.

So you mean Bittrex may close the service of NEO, ending up with something you can not sell ? Great proof that racing to this crypto-currency without thinking might be a bad idea.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: stop listen to Newbie on: August 13, 2017, 10:01:50 PM
Topic starters can absolutely be newbies. And newbies in the rank do not mean newbie in the experience. In fact many newbies have a bigger trading wager than a lot of higher graded members.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 13, 2017, 09:59:45 PM
Yeah, for me Bitcoin is better. Just imagine how much it would be painful to transact for a big amount worth of fiat money in gold ? Using Bitcoin it is a lot more easier.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why wouldnt a government create its own asic to 51% bitcoin? on: August 13, 2017, 09:58:08 PM
No one as of today is rich enough to create create enough ASICs to control 51% of the network. Moreover in fact you need a bit more than that.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 12, 2017, 10:33:46 AM
Time proven that everyone telling you to invest in Bitcoin was right, and time will prove it again, so to any reader, I recommend you to sell anything you have to buy as many bitcoins as you can. You will then thanks me later.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons behind this Rise/Bubble? on: August 12, 2017, 10:31:16 AM
I guess this is because of the SegWit activation happening soon, some whale started something, and then everyone rushed, creating the biggest bull run ever I guess.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How ATM bitcoin work??? on: August 12, 2017, 10:25:56 AM
What you've to know that there are many types of bitcoin ATM obviously.
Some bitcoin ATM machines support buy and sell bitcoin and there are some types that support only buy bitcoin (for your cash).
Here the list https://coinatmradar.com/manufacturers/
Genesis Coin (674 locations)
General Bytes (304 locations)
Lamassu (242 locations)
BitAccess (48 locations)
BitXatm (36 locations)
BTC facil (23 locations)
Covault (21 locations)
Skyhook (15 locations)
LocalBitcoins (12 locations)
zzBit (7 locations)
CoinOutlet (7 locations)
BitTeller (6 locations)

And, pay attention to bitcoin ATM fees and confirmation time as it will be different on each type of machine and depend on blockchain network.

There is that much Bitcoin ATM ? Wow. I thought there was only 3 in Switzerland, but it seems I am greatly wrong. A map to see how they are would be good, even though I guess most of them are in the United States, like all the time...
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I might have missed the boat on Bitcoin, but what about Ethereum? on: August 11, 2017, 01:45:48 PM
Bitcoin is cheap right now. Except the price to double before 2020. So except if doubling your money passively is not enough, simply do it and that's all!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [BTM] Bytom EMC20 Coin heavy upward trend on: August 11, 2017, 01:39:04 PM
They have less than 10 pairs but a huge volume which means high volitality.

In fact this is the inverse. Higher the volume the more the price is locked.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ZEN is a superior version of ZCash, but only 2% of price? lot of development on: August 11, 2017, 01:31:25 PM
I believe you. I thought ZEN was a shitcoin, but after investigation more about it, I understood its potential. As soon as I will get into mining, I will dedicate a part of my hashrate to it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why buy WAVES? on: August 11, 2017, 01:24:39 PM
Waves decentralised exchange is a pure jewel that will be copied many times in the future I guess. And at this moment, Waves true value will get know to many.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blocks with 0 transactions on: August 11, 2017, 01:15:56 PM
I guess he is simply on the wrong chain, Bitcoin Cash. There is few transactions and blocks are longer. There has been no empty block on Bitcoin since ages.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Russia] Burger King to accept Bitcoin this summer! on: July 03, 2017, 09:26:38 AM
That is awesome ! Unfortunately I do not live in Russia, but I do hope that someday this progress will reach Western Europe.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit vs Bitcoin unlimited on: January 30, 2017, 10:34:18 PM
The main difference lies in the fact that SegWit aims to restructure the block space to allow more transactions per block, while Unlimited aims simply to raise the blocksize to allow more transaction.

You seem to be misstating your summary.

Bitcoin Unlimited attempts to change consensus thresholds.  That's no minor or inconsequential change.

Mate, could you please explain me ? What he said is false you said. You did not talked about SegWit so his description is right, isn't it ? And for Unlimited, they want to change how much is required to apply an hardfork or a softfork ? That is what I understand by consensus thresholds.
20  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Why is my transaction requiring 686,000+ confirmations!? on: January 17, 2017, 06:52:36 AM
Coinbase and such are not real block explorers. I checked your transaction and there is only 12 confirmations.
