I like the Solomining Hashrates ure SMOS gets, unfortunatly the dualmining performance sucks ass. I noticed that on my ubuntu install aswell. Is that comon on linux? If the dualmining were to mathc my speeds on windows I wouldnt be hesitating to switch to smos. Plus u meantion something about biosflashing that is located in a specific directory and that we need to ssh into the machine to acces it. But what are login credentials for that?

Hey, I started using this OS today. I like it so far i just ran into a few issues. First off all i upgraded to the beta which boots and works so far. I noticed however, that when i run the sgminer-gm5.5.5 on ethereum the commandline shows me mining speeds of upto 60mhs per card (i did not test this miner bevore i upgraded to beta tho, might be fine there i will try that out later), it finds no shares at all and then one of the cards gets shutdown cuz of idling. Also why can't i use ethermine.org for eth mining, I get constantly disconnected from the server? Apart from that nice work if i can get my cards to hash at my windows speeds ill likely stay on the os !
Better use claymore miner what are you mining ? I just wanted to try mining eth on the sgminer-gm, since i couldnt get the speeds i wanted with the sg-miner on my own install of ubuntu so i figured trying it here. I now use the claymore miner but it still wont let me use the ethermine.org site. Can you explain why that is ?

The new 1.1 gives me 100% rejected shares on suprnova havent tested any other pools but since i dont need any of the features of 1.1 and i like suprnova.
May be wrong credentials in your command line or config.txt? For such issues I need to see the log file. Hey i put # infront off the adress adn so on in the config file. That resolved the problem. I gues your credentials there caused the problem. Thx for pointing that out !

Is a bios mod from ethereum minig bad for mining zcash or does that not matter. Cause my r9 280x kinda outperforms the rx 480 4gb (280x ~ 44 h/s rx 480~ 40 h/s)

Hey, I kinda was not thinking all too much when applying the BIOS onto my Asus rx480 4gb model, turns out after the windows 7 logo it wont display anything more, with it being the 2ndary card it wont be recognized inside of windows and it cant even be found from the ati flash when running it off an usb stick with freedos from rufus on it (even if it is the only card in the system, just funny how it displays the msdos but it wont be recognized from it). So can anyone maybe help , does it matter which version of ati flash i used to do that since i think the one i got from that tutorial is a bit outdated. I saved the stock bios through gpuz though just cant find a way to get it back on it :/ . Help is much apreciated! EDIT: I somehow was able to boot back up to windows 7 with the card after i saw that it was recognized inside the safe mode in which i then just deleted the device manager entry of it which seemed to have worked. And i also enabled the windows 7 admin account in the safe mode.
Use last Atiflash, and use it to save bios not gpuz. Try to use integrated graphic and uninstal ati drivers etc...You can google how to reflash bricked card As i may not have fully described, a normal reflash wasnt possible since it would find the card over a dos usb nor would it boot into win7 fully, but it still displayed win 7 in safe mode which allowed me to delete the card out of the Device manager and activate the admin account. After that i was able to boot back into windows 7 normaly and flashed my stock bios onto it. Stoll thx !!
