Hey everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself to the flock and say that I hope to get to know you lot...
I'm working with a mac and, as of yet, am not really adept at any compiler languages, so all of this is well foreign to me. I'd love to know where to start. Obviously, I'd like to focus on the BTC world (I've got a wallet, but I'm curious what the difference is between them and why some take forever to sync), but I'd appreciate any horizon expansion (hell, if anyone knows anything about after effects, I could use a crash course in that too. Well, regardless, I wanted to say hi, wish you all the best and hope to learn some new skills.
That's pretty vague so I guess I'll ask what should someone with almost no knowledge of the how and why learn when they first get started..?

my birthday just hit so if you feel at all generous Wink

but I'll gladly take pointers and tips just the same.
