I'm in need of exchanging some of my bitcoin for fiat nonsense paper dollars and thought I'd try localbitcoins which of course is face to face p2p. I initiated a few exchanges but heard nothing back at all. Zilch. I'm exchanging a non trivial amount so I can't imagine what the problem is. Ladybytes' video demo of localbitcoins exchange in NYC seemed really easy . She had an appointment within a couple hours . I'm on day three and haven't heard a thing. My city is Los Angeles, which i would think would be prime bitcoin exchanging territory .
