I think my opinion on children is going to bury vastly from the vast majority of people here and the simple fact if it comes down to, I see what my friends and family spend on their children and holy shit I’ve been bringing a life into the worlds, beautiful thing, but isn’t it a beautiful thing to be able to live a much more comfortable Life yourself?

I think it’s really simple. I think it comes down to laws and economics. Sure there are probably plenty of poor countries where gambling is illegal or I should say legal sorry and that is just another way for governments to collect money. I guess that’s pretty universal however, some nations are more strict with all sorts of different things like here in the United States. We just recently opened up legal gambling. It’s created a massive influx of government taxation And so I don’t see that slowing down and I see other countries adopting the same.

I don’t know about you guys, but it’s been a pretty shitty season already for me in my other leagues. This might be my most competitive league which should show a lot considering the fact that I think my team sucks ass. I guess I’m thankful I didn’t lose Joe Burrow and more than one league since I owned him in every single league last year, but losing him in one leg certainly didn’t help as well as some guys are not panting out even though it’sT still have my doubts for my team this year
Oh, and for tonight’s game, who knows 11 points or 11 1/2 points is a lot to cover

I don’t like the idea of governments nor big businesses, owning large sums of bitcoin. I never bought into the fact that all these big business conglomerates, as well as our politicians were truly excited about bitcoin and its future technologies, and the way it could change the world more so they ended up finding a way to be able to monetize on the situation to get ahead of government or I should say adversary governments, and none of that sits right with me

Well this was written back in August, so almost a month ago. I would say that there are going to be some down times and there's going to be some uptime just like with the rise and fall of any asset. It would seem also, and much of this is just propaganda, that both governments and large corporations are staking sats quietly and or are building up reserves to soon on day buy a bunch of bitcoin.
Rome wasn't built overnight. That's for sure.

Why? A very simple reason. People by in large are inherently lazy as fuck , which is what leads to most of the issues within out societies. I posted this a couple days ago, hopoing that at least a few people with read it and by in doing so I might be able to send them down a better path. Most people find it hard to understand because they simply don't yet even have the capability to understand the banking system, how it came to be, how the federal reserve came to be ect. Maybe if people spent more time educating themself that trying to chase get rich schemes, thing would be different. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5559031.0

I appreciate the one reply here. I honestly expected a lot more discussion here, but I guess I shouldn't be shocked. Many of you on here are on here for one reason and that's to make money. So many of you don't truly give a flying fuck about bitcoin and the technical aspects of it.
This reading is ESSENTIAL., but again, I guess I should know better with the amount of lazy fucks around here whom are here just to collect signature campaign money. Well, this is why many of you will fail with bitcoin and finances in general, because you're looking to take the easy way out, and that's exactly what will happen.
SMH.

The very first thing I would do is book a trip to Thailand and line up a steady stream of hookers and cocaine and see if I am able to make it out alive in the end. JK JK (maybe/kinda ). Nah, first thing I wold do is call some of my best friends whom are also major animal advocates and I would start the discussion of how we are going to get an animal sanctuary up and running. This is my lifes goal/mission and can't wait to get to this point one day. Whether or a smaller or larger scale. But that's exactly what woud be going through my head.

Why didn't we do this this year, or dd ya'll and not invite me?!
We're doing it and I invited you like three times! Check your PMs. Yeah I like the Lions over the Bears simply because I'm a bears fan and until we get a good qb and prove it, I always expect a 6-8 win season. Show me otherwise mfrs. ughhh.
That must have been tough to watch. I was thinking the Bears would keep it close, but 31 points doesn't qualify as close, not even in hand grenades or horse shoes. 31 points is like a combined score prediction! the yellow cap will be mine.
This is football, not Fußball. Ughhhhhh god damnt!!!!! Well, I can't expect you guys to babysit me, but as I had mentioned I've really been a bit of MIA on the forum over the past year or so, and I've got a lot of dumb dumbs clogging up my email for shit like "why all the negative words against me" or "why don't you trust me". Blah blah , these are from people who've I've busted out for scamming or throwing out red flags of scamming etc. My gad guys. You know I'd have been in 100000% otherwise. Many what a bummer. I'm really pissed at myself for this and I'm sorry guys!!

lol if you're at the point of gambling where you find yourself needing to go to bed to make the right gambling moves, I'd say maybe it's time to reassess whether or not gambling is right for you.
Now I wont lie, there have been times I've decided to take a nap during Fantasy football games because you can't "cash out" early on those, and that is simply to bring my level of anger down a bit . But I think we are close to comparing apples and oranges here. I would see hang time , stop betting so much and take some deep breathes lol.

I mainly bet NFL football. I will throw in a little on the NBA and rarely, though on occasion I will throw a few satoshis on Major League Baseball. I've been betting roughly 5-8 games a week, spreads and money lines, for about 12-13 years now. I've yet to have a season where I've ended up in the red. Now, do I have great years , year in and year out, no. Often times I'll be up just a bit by years end. But, I've yet to have a losing NFL betting season. I'm too much of a pussy to bet heavy and never will, despite my success. Anyways, I'm sure my streak will end this year now lol.

The Bucs over Texans at +2.5 -130 is my pick of the week by far. I just can't wrap my mind around this one. Every year, for about 3-4 weeks the Vegas odds makers tend to be a little less dead on, like they usually always are. They don't make the kinda money they do not being good at what they're doing lol. That said, for many years now I've noticed this trend and it's paid off nicely being that I'm balls deep in NFL to a level of being considered sad, maybe. I dunno. Anyways now that I say this the Texans will win by 45 points, just watch. I'm putting my heaviest bet in years down on this one. We shall see.

This weekend has some tough picks, at least for me.
The Ravens are favored by a whopping 12 points over the Browns. The Ravens are a powerhouse, but the Browns held their own against the Bangles last week. The Browns always seem to show up when playing the Ravens because, well, if you know you know. Then there's the defensive collapse of the Ravens in the second half of their game against the Bills. I hate large spreads, they're always misleading and there's way too much parity in the NFL.
The other one is the Lions over the Bears by 5. Again, on paper the Lions should walk away with it, but they looked horrible last week, and Bears didn't.
I don't know, maybe I'm over thinking it. I should just flip a coin like suchmoon apparently does.
Why didn't we do this this year, or dd ya'll and not invite me?! I like the Ravens. Cincy under Burrow has been notoriously a slow starting team. Every year it's the same thing. They will get going, and the Browns will start to lose more, like they always do. Yeah I like the Lions over the Bears simply because I'm a bears fan and until we get a good qb and prove it, I always expect a 6-8 win season. Show me otherwise mfrs. ughhh.

I am starting to think more and more now that Bitcoin is destined to be the worlds reserve currency. No other nations currency has even the slightest chance in hell of overtaking the US dollar as the worlds reserve currency. If you think otherwise you're dead wrong, and don't get it. The US is making many friends with our fuck of a president and our two ridiculously stupid and corrupt political parties.I know many nations would love to move away from the USD and if someone had asked me if this was possible just a year ago, I'd have said no. I still have some doubts but we'll see. That said the USD will still hold significant value for any given foreseeable future. The US has the strongest economy with a large portion of the worlds best and biggest companies. That's not going away anytime soon.

When I learned of bitcoin back 2014ish I was already working in finance for some time. Was discovering more and more how corrupt my industry was, and most of all how corrupt the big banks are (BOA, 90B in fraud violations since 2000, JP Morgan Chase, 40B since 2000 (most since 2006 when Jamie Dimon took over as CEO) fraud, against their own clients much of the time). The first book I read about Bitcoin before owning any was Mastering Bitcoin. Way out of my league and always will be, but I did learn a little bit, was lead here, turned on to Andreas etc etc. This all said, I know many here don't work in traditional finance and this is not to throw jabs, but most don't understand what so ever. Do yourself a big favor, and read this book! One needs to understand how traditional finance and banking works to truly understand bitcoin. Nick Szabo always talks about the history of money before btc. When he does events, in his blog ( https://unenumerated.blogspot.com/ ), etc. Nick is an OG cypherpunk, created bitgold ahead of btc, coined the term Smart Contracts, a lawyer, an economist and a computer scientist..you get the point. I'm essentially echoing what he has been telling everyone to do, indirectly, for many years. This book that I'm just now reading is eye opening even to myself whos worked in finance for several decades and kept a close eye on the fraud from within. I made a bone headed mistake with my last trade. I dropped Keon Coleman, when I meant to drop Khalil Shakir. Coleman clears waivers on Wednesday and I want him back, nobody grab him please. You guys are all stacked on WRs anyway, so show a little kindness for the village idiot.
Shit happens bro, all good. If my claim goes through for him I’ll give him back. I will just need Nico and King Henry in return 😎 F me Ive had a busy day. I just realized there is fuzeball on rn. I forgot to lay some Satoshis down on GB, think they were at -3.5 b4 game time. Thrilled GB looks so good this year. Also thrilled how many passed Caleb missed on Monday. What’s new tho right.

have you ever been to prison? it is a tough life in there. no matter what you did or whether you were wrongly accused for something, prison is not for everyone. it is obviously lonely as you gets separated away from your family. it can get boring, not being able to do what you want.
but gambling, even tho is prohibited, is often what entertains most prisoners. there is no actual money in prison so they often exchange in other forms of currencies like food or smuggled items. even their way of gambling is smuggled. cards, dice and even information from the outside are all smuggled.
the reason why gambling is prohibited tho is because it might escalate into fights if someone for example loses and doesn't pay their debts
just shows how gambling will always exist anywhere
I think it all depends on what the prisoners have done. I think some prisoners who have done certain things should certainly be allowed rewards to promote good behavior and I think this could be a positive thing. I think if you let any prison inmate who wanted to do this that probably wouldn’t be a good idea as it could insight violence within them Start fights start gambling war, things of that nature, etc. that said not everyone deserves to suffer in jail and I would like to see it at some level at least here in the United States.

Almost every now and then, there is a new casino that is setup, each week, it is like there is a new casino where gamblers could gamble. I am aware that the competition in the industry is good, but more casinos mean more publicity for gambling, and more publicity for gambling means more gamblers definitely, and if there are more gamblers, we will have a higher chance of people who will turn up with a gambling problem or challenge. This is a thought I had earlier, I may be wrong, what do you think? What do you consider is the effects of the many options and variety of casinos to gamble on, do you think that it has somehow promoted and made addiction easy? do you feel that gamblers would have been less addicted if we have fewer casinos?
Well, I think a lot of it has to do at least here in the United States with the fact that legalization has just been booming and the fact that the state that I am in Illinois is the most broke state in the nation and they need money revenue. Anyway they can get it that’s also why they were one of the first to pass the medical marijuana bill or I should say the adult recreational marijuana bill. Well, I like it it does kind of disgust me in certain ways just reminding me of the mismanagement of people’s taxation.

You wanna move 100$ Easy reason You wanna move 10k $ still Easy You wanna move 100k $ need some quite bigger reason....you wanna move 10 mil $ still need very big reason for that you wanna move 1 bil $ ... need geopolitical global bigger reasons.
You can't just move money bigger money requires bigger reasons. In order to move you need reasons and big money requires geopolitical volatility and changes often they not pleasent but how you move big money or how you take big money and wealth so you need geopolitical reasons.
Specially when goverment offialials circles want to put state money in their pockets.
You know this topic kind of reminds me of the current banking system, which has just become an even bigger joke than what it’s been if that’s possible to believe. I not too long ago helped a friend close out there. JP Morgan Chase financial bank account they had about $5000 in the account and they had to call upfront and check as they did not think they had $5000 on hand that day in the bank. This is JP Morgan, the world second largest bank trying not to pay out someone’s final bits because they may not have it on hand or maybe not necessarily trying not trying to but you get the point fracture reserve banking is

I made a post once titled "is Bitcoin just for the rich? " , I got a lot of reply and the majority said Bitcoin is also for the poor, thats not a really wrong answer, but how many poor folks have made the kind of wealth like the top investors with alot of resources. I made some more research and I discovered more. I discovered that the rich have a high advantage when it comes to Bitcoin, we should know that Bitcoins high volatility and complex market dynamics often favor those with more resources, this rich folks got what it takes, they have the experience and Market knowledge to do as the wish without breaking a sweat or being scared because they have the funds and can afford to hold through market fluctuations. This guys can make big investments in market analysis, tools and expertise, tell me how will the poor catch up, how will the poor get to such height, how can they afford to overcome fear when there is little experience. It is very challenging for the poor investors to succeed in the Bitcoin market, potentially whitening the wealth gap.
Honestly, there’s a lot of different factors that come in to play here. First off one should not be “investing in bitcoin “ until they are in a responsibly financial enough situation. Here is a link to where I lay out guidelines of how setting up a responsibly financial situation might look like or should look like in general for most people. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5288768.msg55577767#msg55577767Keep in mind guys just because you may not have a whole bitcoin does not make you a non-bitcoin or there’s gonna be plenty of people overtime who will never own an entire bitcoin that’s not the purpose not the point it’s cool but it’s not a B all end all
