This coin is 100% manipulated on exchange and on network!
XCI exchanges volumes are low, not many coins for sale and buy, almost empty orderbook, only 1 current exchange, obviously small network on the other side. This is the current situation. It will be changed. We need some time to grow, nothing is easy, we are at the early start. Meet here in a year

Network is very slow again, Nicehash attacked to 700KH/s.
Yes, this is a problem, we have an option to change difficulty lag like KRB but this can harm network in long term when it will bigger.

Never said it will be an easy process. Is it hard? Yes. Impossible. No. To have success you need to have some unique features. Cryptocurrencies as any other type of money are backed by faith and tech. XCI gives a perfect decentralized PoW. XCI gives privacy we need. When we will build a community of folks around the Cannabis businesses and cryptocurrensies, when XCI will be super stable, when it will have 2-3 exchanges with a solid volumes and liquidity, there is no other way than dispensaries recognition.

Some XCI updates- After the recent XCI software update all fork issues solved
- After the recent XCI software update all unconfirmed transactions issues solved
- There were few "NiceHash" big miner "attacks". That was unprofitable and caused no harm for the network besides slow confirmations in that period. The network is stable and smooth now, protected by 200khs power.

every single alt related to cannabis is fucking BULLSHIT.
end of story.
i have friends who work in the industry and work in stores/run shops and even production facilities....alts will never work for this shit. EVER.
even bitcoin has trouble being accepted.
so stop wasting your time/money.
Hello, I would like to answer that. We are glad t o hear about your friends working in stores/running stores and happy to hear about their opinion. But your friends must be not friends with THOUSANDS of dispensaries across the CA and Entire Country. I can tell you, some of them are happy to work with Bitcoin! You can try to ask about Bitcoin donation for your medicine in any dispensary in CA, some will be glad to accept. Those who are VERY familiar with Bitcoin and are a part of Medical Marijuana business still may be very concerned about Bitcoin privacy issues. XCI is the very first privacy protected Legal Marijuana cryptocurrency. So, please, stop wasting your time with untrue statements.

It's useless coins, toys for a short time. Poloniex not add to itself coins like this, so as not to create conflict with the law.
Whats up withPoloniex? Eventually XCI should be exchanged for the Legal Cannabis and should not be associated with any specific exchange. Decentralized exchange channels are preferred. You can trade XCI at Cryptopia with about 10-20 btc 24h volume. Can expect more exchanges soon. Bittrex and Poloniex are familiar with cryptonote coins so it should not be difficult to add XCI there. Can you please point me to a guide for setting up xcicoin pool server. Thank you. To run the xcicoin pool you will need to run xcicoin daemon and wallet and https://github.com/forknote/forknote-pool. There is a good guide there.

wich coins in this list has the most potentiel to grow regarding marketcap and available supply ? IMO if XCI is successful the price now is just a joke and also now its so hard to mine. @dev, do you have any news about the original purpose of this coin ? and also if you are focused on cannabis industry why you dont try to contact some sites on the darkweb ? The original purpose of our loved Cannabis Industry Coin is to be №1 Legal Marijuana dispensaries coin, to solve problems of cannabis dispensaries, to make all donations and payments secure and privacy protected running on the top of decentralized network like Bitcoin. We will not promote XCI to "darkweb" or talk about any "sites on the darknweb'. Sorry, XCI Coin is a privacy protected coin but focused on the Legal Cannabis Market including Medical Marijuana Market. Legal growers, seed shops and equipment suppliers are welcomed but XCI Coin is focused on the Legal Marijuana Dispensaries and Coffeeshops.

It seems that a few people lost some XCI. I don't know how or why, but i never had problems like that... let's hope they get their coins back. I sent ammounts up to 500 XCI without a problem, all tx with XCI went smooth. I am looking forward to the upcoming Marijuana conferences! btw: brownie-challenge is alive now or when? All coins are safe and secure until your private key is safe and secure! There was an issue with the big unconfirmed transactions, solved with the new wallet. brownie challenge is alive now and forever until the first dispensary will accept XCI as a donation for brownie or any other edible and will describe the whole process in social media channels. First Dispensary will receive 10000 XCI donation.

do you guys follow the ██ MAR ██ Marijuanacoin ? Why should we? There is nothing new there. This is the Cannabis Industry Coin topic - the only privacy protected cryptocurrency for the Legal Marijuana Industry. Treat it as a medical confidentiality helper. In future it will be very useful to have your cannabis medical recommendation attached to your XCI wallet. This is absolutely possible with XCI Coin and will be implemented in future.

are you 100% sure there is no backdoor in the new wallet? , as the wallet is made by someone else Of course we are 100% sure, XCI is an OPEN SOURCE public project. Everyone are free to contribute. We are in active cooperation with other cryptonote developers with great reputation - @slb from forknote and @aiwe from karbowanec. You are more than welcome to audit the source code and build your own binaries.

Default ports are: p2p port: 42000 rpc port: 42001 You can start it with any port you want. Try --help. Allowed options:
Command line options: --help Produce help message --version Output version information --os-version --data-dir arg (=/root/.xcicoin) Specify data directory --config-file arg (=xcicoin.conf) Specify configuration file
Command line options and settings options: --log-file arg --log-level arg (=2) --no-console Disable daemon console commands --testnet Used to deploy test nets. hi i have reseted the wallet and try with the new version and still the same... i never seen that issue in ant other coins....why i can send 2000 and not 5000 ?? Well, XCI is the only private weed coin, had some issues with the initial implementation. With an old version some had issues with the big sized transactions - high mixin and maany small inputs making transaction size bigger than approved by network, say above 25kb for 1 transaction. There was a problem with an old wallet version. Old wallet was able to produce that kind of big transactions. If big transaction will reach a tx pool of network nodes it will stay there some time, about 24h. No miner will include that transaction in block and it will be deleted from tx pool. So after the sender will reset his wallet he will see his coins "back" like there was no transaction. That is why I am asking about the date of your transaction. If it is not in blockchain - it is in your wallet. You can send any amount of XCI with the new XCI Coin version. You should know that transaction size limit and block size limit is raising with time. 45kb at the present time. You will not be able to produce any bigger transaction to avoid network and blockhain flooding. As I said tx size limit is raising with time. When you are reporting your issues, please, tell some specific info about your OS, wallet version, transaction details.

XCI Pool admins, please update your XCI to 1.0.11 from https://github.com/xcicoin/xcicoin
Initial xcicoin repo renamed to xcioin-old, xci-1.0.11 renamed to xcicoin.
and report it here It is not a fork and not a mandatory update. And there is an incompatibility between versions, and you can lose all the coins. Why do you say about it? Do not mislead people. I use forknote. What do you mean by this? Current XCI 1.0.11 version is absolutely equal to forknote 1.0.11. Even was made with the help of @slb - the author of forknote. It is not a fork, it is a major update with many wallet and daemon improvements. All XCICoin versions are absolutely cross compatible. You are free to use an old XCI Coin but still may expect some issues with big transactions because off pure initial cryptonote implementation. This all solved with the new XCI Coin 1.0.11 version you can find here. https://github.acom/xcicoin/xcicoin. You are misleading people. You are free to use forknote 1.0.11 because it is similar to xcicoin 1.0.11.
