1  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: December 04, 2020, 02:05:56 PM
We'll take a look at the "Domino Effect" or "FOMO" of big companies afraid of falling behind following in the footsteps of paypal, visa and mastercard.  let's guess who which big company next!!
Libra developer ambition is only trying to grab and even capitalization the crypto market by trying to collaborate with big companies that have great influence..
Yes and also they probably want them juicy fees from facebook users which are constantly in pain because they have to use their bugged non secured service everyday.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $20+Day! Villages in Philippines survive Covid playing Axie Infinity on: November 01, 2020, 02:06:59 AM

The growth charts hockey stick in every metric
Traders are making hand over fist there ....Ill leave it at that.. Insane
Is this the future?
Crypto is a somehwat salvation for developing countries, but overall they're just farming them to sell right away, so that means they're devaluing anything they're farming.
I don't see how this is future, but not charity
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FLM On Uniswap FAKE! on: September 28, 2020, 03:03:32 PM
OKEx listed Flamingo (FLM)
Now the price of $ FLM token is $ 0.9. Market cap - about $ 27 million
Flamingo Listing Details (FLM):
https://zdhelp.okex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050228611-The-Announcement-of-FLM-Listing-on-OKEx
At the same time, the FLM coin appeared on Uniswap, which is a fake, but its price has already increased to $ 255
https://uniswap.info/token/0x1fc6ab5e2b4ebb09c37807f988b22b38f3e1c228
You have to be aware of such things in Uniswap all the time, there is almost no moderation whatsoever
Unfortunately, we only know about biggest scams, I assume there are much more than that
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy crypto developers on: September 09, 2020, 03:44:13 PM
It's an obvious fact that some developers are greedy and only concerned about making the most out of every opportunity. But I still believe that there are some who are selfless and genuinely concerned about the project development. They could even choose to include some Defi features into their tokens to make it more attractive to investors.
Any project has a lot of different roles and people involved in it.
Why developers get all of the hate for bad decisions made by several people.
Perhaps there were a lot of situations when innocent developer made decent project then came in market team with bad intentions and ruined the whole thing and scammed users along the way.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: August 26, 2020, 06:30:55 AM
In my opinion, if the income from crypto is large enough and stable per month, the government may impose taxes on our crypto income, meaning that the tax is based on fiat currency resulting from the withdrawal of exchangers.
I don't think there should be any taxes to crypto profits.
However, most goods you buy in the store already has taxes in the price, so if we'll be able to buy with crypto that means we pay taxes already
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEfi Hype Trends! This is not something you expect, go before you get stuck FOMO on: August 15, 2020, 07:14:06 AM
I've seen a lot of old projects that changed the concept to Defi. To me this isn't great because obviously they are using the hype just to revive their project.
someone is crazy about Hype Defi! It's a red light for you, be careful before you cry get caught up in this FOMO.

One of the following marketing strategies is market demand and the interest of people trying something different. Which is certain the end goal is the same as the improvement and acceleration and development of a project.
I guess its all driven by btc being almost unusable by its unreasonable fees and ill transaction time.
Altcoins are "suddenly" worth more because people realize - its easier to buy, cheaper to do it, faster to transfer, liquidity is on point. There are not so many ways to spend, but thats a matter of time, we already see alts-fiat debit cards here and there
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fill your bag with caution on: August 02, 2020, 09:19:43 AM
My candid advice, before you invest in a project ask yourself;
1. What are the benefits of this project to the world and the future?
2. In the next 2 to 3 years, will the working product still be relevant?
3. Who is the targetted audience? Do the targetted audience really need this innovation?
These are extremely well put and can hugely help one to decide whether invest in project or not.
For anyone who would argue with that - I have bad news, you think you're gambler in imaginary casine
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: On going SCAM! Multiple popular crypto related twitter accounts hacked. on: July 27, 2020, 03:36:30 PM
unless it is sombedy that has acess to the admin panel
Base on the report it is, one of the employee's account was compromised which has access/manage the verified twitter accounts and not an inside job.
It maybe not so clear as it seems at first glance. There were so many possible ways for hackers to get their hand on accounts' access so I am not really sure if it is an inside job. But obviously Twitter employees are main suspects
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: July 09, 2020, 07:37:29 PM
There are many strategies for dealing with the next crisis, but if these are not followed properly, the situation can get worse. Here are the strategies
1) To make all the workers more aware on the basis of training on physical distance and health care
2) Develop the habit of using masks
3) Change in the work environment
4) Appointment of officers to ensure health and safety issues.
There should be some sort of mask storage for situations like this one.
Because there was huge issue in the beginning of the epidemic with mask availability
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will religion save you? on: July 01, 2020, 03:03:56 AM
I'd say - religion can't save you from everything bad that will happen during your life, it can't save you from death neither.
Perhaps it looks like many religions do argue about who is going to be the savior after all, but thats not the point
Imo the best thing about religion it can save you from making many hurtful mistakes
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving economy at the cost of what? on: June 26, 2020, 07:55:58 PM
Saving enables the production of capital goods, saving is obviously at the heart of the economic growth that raises people's living standards. Another important role of money is to serve as a medium of saving. Good for the economy because it increases productivity. No matter the savings rate, more savings will translate into more capital.
In my opinion we shouldn't discuss enough/not enough value of the decision 've made us govs.
We rather should think in terms of it economy and inner culture of capitalism.
Capital is worth more than some lives in US, I don't think thats debatable.
Debatable is whether other countries should do the same or not
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: June 09, 2020, 09:26:13 AM
Different coins are mentioned in each article, but I think Bitcoin is a great choice for investment.
If you search this in the browser"best crypto coin for investment
" you will find it at the top.
  • #1. Bitcoin (BTC)
  • #2. Ethereum (ETH)
  • #3. Litecoin (LTC)
  • #4. Binance Coin (BNB)
  • #5. Tezos (XTZ)
  • #6. Monero (XRM)
  • #7. NEXO (NEXO)
  • #8. Cardano (ADA)
Source:https://themoneymongers.com/best-cryptocurrency-to-invest/

BTC Bitcoin is number one
Can't really argue with this one.
Everything below these 8 - is either too young to judge or completely dead and not worth investing in
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: May 30, 2020, 10:51:34 PM
After looking through this thread I realized that my ones are not that old after all haha.
The oldest one is clearly eth which I hold from somewhat mid 2018 year
14  Economy / Economics / Re: An Economist Predicts The Downfall Of The Eurozone on: May 15, 2020, 05:07:38 PM
Quote
The unfortunate fact is that the European common currency, euro, has been an ill-conceived project from the beginning. If the history of previous failed currency unions teaches us one thing, it’s that you never ever establish a common currency among countries with very different cultural and political backgrounds without a Federation. It’s unfathomable that we need to learn this lesson the hard way, again!
My bigger fear is they'll use this crisis to create said Federation. EU member states are currently all drawing their own plans, closing borders as they please, while EU is grasping to remain relevant.
Losing euro will be expensive, but it's probably for the best in the long run. Unless you work at ECB of course, then you'll do whatever it takes to keep your job rescue the euro.
in this current situation the uk will be in the most comfortable position - still holding on with some EU connections, but whole country is ready to take a break from the union like 'til the end of the year (and does not depend on euro)
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coin Market Cap SCAM!!! on: May 06, 2020, 05:36:54 PM
CMC manipulates the prices most of the time thats why I do prefer the other like tradingview
I like to use both cmc and tradingview to be sure what is going on the market
If I have any uncertainty I open coingecko additionally
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: April 30, 2020, 08:24:31 PM
don't waste your time on projects like that and you better choose projects listed on other exchanges, for example from bounty detective I see a lot of their projects listed on the exchange are more promising than azbi it's just that I don't know whether the reward is guaranteed or not .
main thought of the whole thread is - think before doing anything, but I'd suggest doing a little research so not let our deceptive minds to make own miss conclusions
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Chain or Binance DEX hype is gone! on: April 20, 2020, 08:17:01 PM
In my opinion BNB is good and has the opportunity to penetrate the top 5 but it takes time for investors to believe
it actually takes time for binance to make moves and upgrade and then investors will start to believe
it is a big difference
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Traders need to learn on: April 07, 2020, 10:57:41 AM
of course traders must learn from the mistakes they have made, it is very difficult, but it can make you more confident, and indeed it takes time to get up, if you don't want to lose your money too much, use small capital, your emotions will surely will be controlled  Smiley
Some mistakes will happen again if we don't take it seriously and sometimes a small mistakes/decisions will lead us to a big problem. Confident on trading will come to you if we already knew every detail, strategies and analyze in the markets. There are many strategies you can do to make profit in trading and all you have to do is find the best strategy that you can easily do then find other strategy that can may help you more in other trading. I believe that everything will be in proper order in the right time of trading. We must trust the process of learning every day.
Can't disagree on that actually.
However OP was referring more to inner confidence than to real technical knowledge - which I do not support.
I claim over confident traders as petty tyrant, because you have to be careful about your own money
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another crypto ban again? on: April 01, 2020, 06:02:18 AM
there is info about Japan banning foreign exchanges on their territory for japan citizens.
every month there will be bad news , but we all need to believe that govs of countries will eventually make the right decision
20  Economy / Economics / Re: A little good news for Asia on: March 22, 2020, 11:56:15 AM
I believe this crypto world will beat the panic of corona and melting down world economy because bitcoin was created for such situation and to react for world economic conditions.
I believe that China will have the most advantage in nearest couple months since its almost cured from corona and starts the flywheels of their countless factories.
And most countries need those goods and China will deliver it
