2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tradesatoshi - BEWARE! Blocking without reasons. on: February 25, 2020, 08:56:46 AM
I got trapped in a different way.

During the L1 verification, i filled in a nickname (they were not asking for any (official) document). Then almost a year later, they blocked my account and requested a L2 verification with official documents. No matter how many times I contacted them and requested them to change my name/surname in L1 , they were replying that this is not possible.
So essentially I had to present an official document with my nickname !! After struggling with their support for more than 3 months and receiving outrageous excuses/responses I finally gave up....
I cannot withdraw, trade or perform any action  Sad
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: May 04, 2018, 04:09:24 PM
Hi,

I transferred some GEO coins from one exchange to another. However, the Tx does not appear on the chain. If I got it right, there was a chain swap?
Apparently, on exchange still use the old chain (https://etherscan.io/token/0xfa95646aec63d22ffaecdd49cc1efdf5ae37c911?a=), while the other exchange may use the new one (https://chainz.cryptoid.info/geo/).

I saw a post on the GEO twitter, that they process the swap claims manually or something...

Anybody has an idea what I should do now to have the coins transferred?

Thnx

5  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Question about Cryptopia support on: December 07, 2017, 09:28:12 AM
Hi,

any news from the support?

I have a similar case. Yesterday I withdrew some ETH from my cryptopia account to another address. However, after 24 hours passed, and I didnt see the coins to the address. So I just submitted a ticket and waiting for their reply.

I m aware of the congestion in the ETH network, due to cryptokitties, but 24 hours is way too long, isnt it?

Anybode else can share their experience with cryptopia support?

FYI: Eventually, I received the ETH coins in my wallet after appr. 20 hours

Hi guys,

I withdrew some ETH coins from cryptopia to another ETH address. After 30 hours I havent received anything
I confirmed the withdrawal email immediately and the status in my cryptopia account is "completed".
I submitted a ticket today and waiting for their response.

Guys, eventually I received the ETH in my wallet. Should have been around 20 hours. Dont know if it was due to ETH network congestion or some glitch on Cryptopia side. Either ways, I think that was way too long.

10  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mt.Gox Multi-plaintiff Suit on: March 18, 2014, 08:00:21 AM
Hi guys,

has anyone singed for the claim with Selachii LLP law company?

In the attached letter several legal terms and procedures are mentioned which I am not familiar with.

Also did you check the latest anouncement of MtGox?

"...Rehabilitation claims under a civil rehabilitation procedure become confirmed from a filing which is followed by an investigation procedure. The method for filing claims will be published on this site as soon as we will be in situation to announce it."

Can anyone with deeper knowledge on legal issues explain what this practically mean? Will at some point MtGox allow filing claims for the loss BTC and deposits? If that s case is there really an added value to join a lawsuit against Mtgox?

Any feedback is appreciated

WTF!

BTC.sx trading temporarily suspended

Dear Customers,

Thank you for your continued support of BTC.SX, we really appreciate your custom. Unfortunately, due to the current closure of our main exchange partner, we regret we will be unable to take any further orders and our site will be suspended until further notice. All customer balances are secure and we will honour any withdrawal requests. For open positions, these will be liquidated and deposits will be refunded in full.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, we are working hard to integrate new exchanges and offer our service again as soon as possible.
We will keep you informed of any update, all refunds will be processed in due course, thank you for your patience during this time.

Thanks,
BTC.SX

So what is this e-mail? I also received the same e-mail. Does it mean that mtGox outsourced some part of their operation to BTC.SX??

I think those of us in the EU should push for a separate suit because there might be money in the polish account. It will also be easier.

I think the foundation are also to blame if they continued to accredit the exchange as a gold member when they were aware of these problems.

+1.

I Agree that it may worth investigating whether EU funds can be claimed directly from the polish bank.

Anybody in the forum with experience in related legal issues that can help?

Hi guys,

Is bitcoin builder still working?

If yes, I guess it s only working for people who had already withdrew their Gox coins.

Is there by chace any crazy way to still transfer the coins from gox to bitcoin builder. Maybe the API still works??
15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 18, 2014, 03:05:56 PM

holy sh*t... I'm actually reconsidering the whole idea, as I just learned our fascist government is going to apply a 20% tax for incoming wire transfers from foreign accounts  Angry
that's not but a fiscal robbery, probably the kind of thing they invented BTCs for

Which country are you refering to?

It's Italy http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-02-16/money-launderer-until-proven-innocent-italy-imposes-20-tax-withholding-all-inbound-m

and it's essentially a EU pilot test program. You can expect to this throughout all fascist union member countries within six months.

well, good catch... I was feeling too ashamed to tell it myself  Embarrassed

Is SEPA transfer considered a wire transfer? Maybe the tax is only applicable to inbound transfers coming form countries outise EU

fiat jpy withdrawal submitted on jan 27th just went through this afternoon.

thats 14 business days. 6 day increase from one on jan 6 that was 8 business days.

Fiat SEPA withdrawal submitted on jan 7th just went through this mornig.

arenīt you pissed by  not being able to buy some goxxies for under 200 Euros now???

Nops , How do you expect to withdraw your coins then ? What market is telling us is that the chances to withdraw your  gox.coins  is 200/500 = 40 % . maybe that's what you will be able to withdraw when they open coin windows.

Could u please elaborate a bit more on how did you conclude to the 40% chance?
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 18, 2014, 10:28:07 AM

So you want to buy cheap BTC, I understand that part. But, are you not worried not being able to withdraw anything? Can I ask, what is your strategy?

Well, I m just taking a risk and hope for the best Smiley

I am not planning to buy any big amount of BTCs. So even a daily limit of 1-3 BTCS would be enough for me.

In addition I am wondering what is more likely: 1) Mtgox is short of BTCs 2) Mtgox is short of cash. In the latter case , it means that buying BTCs and trying to sell them in another exhcange (provided that you manage to get them out of gox) gives you your money back..and faster than waiting for 4-6 weeks for the SEPA.

Also has anybody used the http://skanner.net/MtGox/cwithdrawal.php to cancel withdrawal? I wouldnt really trust the site to give away my credentials.

I had used them. You only need to create an API key with "deposit" and "getinfo" access rights, therefore there is no chance you're going to lose any funds etc. Just follow their step-by-step guide how to create the key. You are not giving them any credentials this way.

Cancelling is immediate. Then you can (and should) delete the API key you created previously. Easy as a pie.

Whave, I tried to cancel the request. I followed the steps mentioned on the skanner site. But then the amount of the withdrawal to be credit back to my acount was minus the fee ( 1%). Does it mean that Mtgox will charge me for the fee anyway? Is there a way to get back the fee?

Don't worry about that. I have cancelled a 1000EUR withdrawal, and the API said it would be 990EUR, but after the cancel 1000EUR was added to my balance.

Thanx Whave, that s what I thought as well.
