Am I still on your list?
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: April 10, 2013, 03:14:23 AM
I didn't list any info until I heard from MTGox First. I had an earlier transaction that worked flawlessly. Same wording - we have deposited your funds to MtGox. And, ta da, it was there.

This time, they said it was there, it wasn't. I contacted MtGox. They said the code cannot be redeemed (non existing or already used). Why would they send me a no existing of already used code? I didn't start putting out any information until I heard this!

In the email from you guys, verifying my transaction. I was told specifically, that "We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order. We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account" So, if you sent me that email, why did you not make the deposit??

I have tried every avenue possible, customer support, this forum, live chat (doesn't exist) facebook, going through MtGox, (where my coins should be) nothing has happened. It's been over a week. No one has even contacted me.

My next two steps are this. My state's Attorney General's office, and then the FTC.

What's the saying? Oh yeah, "A fool and his money are soon parted."  ~caveat emptor~

I am so FRUSTRATED with this situation. It's been 5 days. I have tried contacting bitinstant thru customer support, on facebook, this forum, and I went to MtGox for help. This is probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. And no one will get back to me!

This is what I received from bitinstant:

Next I get an email from MtGox saying I had been issued a coupon code. I tried to use it, it comes back as "This code cannot be redeemed (non existing or already used.

MtGox kindly informs me: I have a support ticket from MtGox that has been closed:

Your request (#66670) has been marked as solved, pending closure. Should you believe that your request has not been adequately addressed and wish to postpone closure, or should you wish to review or comment upon your request, please follow the link below:

And then this:
Hello,

It looks like they send you a redeemable code of MTGOX-USD-DEKGH-WHPS7-PK63G-65BBA

Please redeem the Mt.Gox redeemable code back into your account by copying the code. Then, login and select the Funding options menu. After that, please select the Add Funds page and select Mt.Gox Redeemable Code under the drop-down menu. Paste the code into the box and click redeem. The funds should appear back in your account. If the code does not work, please contact Bitinstant at support@bitinstant.com or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=128314.2760;topicseen

WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW??? ANYONE???

Yes, I'm a newbie. And, I have made a mistake that I see several others have made. I lost my wallet passcode for bitcoin-qt. Well, I didn't exactly lose it. Apparently I typed it wrong twice. I have seen that there is a code that has been written that can hack into the password. And I have a very good idea as to what it is. But, I recently got rid of my pc and switched to a mac. I am not sure if I can follow instructions on how to get the PW. It's still a bit of a learning curve working on this thing! I would like to find someone in the forum who is mac savvy that might not mind giving me step by step directions. Please white list me. Thank you!!
PS Does anyone REALLY understand bitcoin? LOL

With such a small payout? is it really worth my time?
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: April 03, 2013, 11:45:30 AM
I woke up this morning at bitcoins are are around $$138. I have been watching it rise for a few weeks now, and I am astounded. I want to go out and buy, buy, buy. But, worried it might drop to a reasonable level. Then, the next thing I read, it's not stopping anytime soon. What's a girl to do?
