On the other hand, maybe it really was someone who wanted to acquire that much monero with no slippage. Who knows? 
In other news, I think my comments earlier were misconstrued. Monero is literally the best money on the planet. So any other financial moves you do, wherein you hope to profit, should ideally end up with you holding more Monero than you did before. You could try to use your financial moves to acquire more USD or Bitcoin, but these are inferior forms of money. The fact that XMR is not especially popular yet doesn't detract from its superiority. The goal of any financial game is to gain more money, and make moves that allow you to gain more money than you had before. This is why I said every move needs to be calculated in how it could impact your Monero holdings - up until a reasonable individual limit of 200k to 400k Monero, more is always better (especially at these early stages). At this point is seems silly to try to chase more USD; I prefer to chase assets with more growth potential. Could not agree more with this. XMR = money What ever happened to americanpegasus ? |

@explorer is there anyway to find out what is going on at bithumb and why XMR/KRW always trade at such a premium? Are there any simple answer to this, or is it much more complex? How hard is it for me to sell 1000XMR on bithumb, send USDT to bittrex, and buy XMR there? Thanks for any response in advance |

Over 1000 new subscribers per day, and accelerating. Sure, all of crypto is expanding, but to me this indicates that Monero is receiving its share of attention, and more. So let's say hypothetically @Bitfinex'ed is right about Bitfinex not having $600 million in Taiwanese banks, and the USDT are not redeemable. If USDT automatically becomes worthless, what would happen to the USDT trading pair? If everyone just lost their USDT is it possible that the price of bitcoin stays unaffected unless there is some sort of panic? |

Would you agree that just before the UASF hard fork, that correction was a part of another short term Bubble / Gartner Hype Cycle? I am very intrigued how the S-Curve of Technological adoption cause larger and bigger short term bubble on the way up. If we went back to $60 billion market cap for bitcoin with next month as a part of correction, then do we go to $200 billion next? Then $450 billion after that correction? |
