Noob question: how do I start an address in preparation for mining? I see that the client isn't yet available on zencash.io
Do I need to get zclassic wallet and then just copy the seed over or something?

In last 2 year FCT price is lower than it was before. Brother if you have with ETH,XMR,Dash your life got changed and you now have your own Lambo ..  What are you smoking? FCT has had consistent growth in value. Most people see the world from a linear perspective. The outside world won't give a crap about dash, or monero, or litecoin... Serious players are interested in Ethereum and Factom. No other cryptos have any significant interest from people outside the bubble of crypto. Grants, VCs, NDAs, contracts... To those who think 30m is a fair cap, what is your justification for that silly notion? Factom is going to be 1B cap sometime in the next 2 years (I personally believe sooner rather than later), and once it reaches 1B cap, I'll still be able to make logical arguments why it's undervalued. Stick to the cryptos with strong fundamentals. Record keeping is one of the best and most needed uses of blockchain, and Factom has no notable competition in this field. Yes, it's going much higher. If you can't see that, move along and buy some dogecoin or w/e lol.

Also, in USD terms it's stayed relatively stable. Not to mention i bought my first factoid at $0.70 less than a year ago - so yeah it clearly just gets cheaper and cheaper over time... Exodus can't be released without M2. M2 is dead and doesn't work.

^Not to mention I just realized exodus to add FCT march 31st if everything goes as planned. Factom is setting itself up to easily break resistance and skyrocket IMO. Even if not though, fundamentals are just too damn strong. Hodling for a long long time. Try to stop me . |

Now is not the time to panic. People are literally giving away free factom for some reason lol.
Factom should be competing with ethereum for market cap. One could argue it should even be far higher than that.
It's in the lead to solving a trillion dollar problem. 1 Billion cap should be nothing for factom.
All it is is lack of research and people thinking record keeping for insurance, mortgages, medical records, etc is boring.
Their ignorance is your gain.
Name another crypto which has gotten grants from the US Government. Yep.
Name another crypto which has big players looking at it like the Gates Foundation and Tim Draper. Yep.
Name another crypto which is actually talking with insurance companies and others interested in what they have to offer. Yep.
When the market is irrational, you take advantage of it, not cry like a biatch.
Factom is one of the ONLY cryptos which is looking outward, rather than requiring (like a ponzi) more money from people already in crypto.
