Interesting project. Why not let the users register when they want to. I don't like that login/register pop-up. Keep up the good work!

You mean register with an email?

Unfortunately, I do not have enough money (I'm using all my savings to develop it) to hire kick-ass security experts. As for now, we decided to keep it simple and anonymous in order to protect our users from potential hacking until we hire robust security experts.

Great site, very informative, and simple.Hope you incorporate more data and some blogs soon. I wonder if you can make an android version or an app for it as I am always on the go. Keep up the good work.

If his project is of high interest, he will definitely do it. The most important thing is the support of everyone. He needs it, that is the motivation for him to work. right ?

We definitely will! Right now our main focus is:
1. Aggregate most relevant news related to your portfolio and coins in general.
2. Advanced portfolio for professional traders (optional (the basic one will stay untouched)).
3. Coin stats.
4. Real-time data (our own API)

Thank you for kind words and healthy critics, we need both:)

I love this! - but i have to agree with justin86 - the colours are the problem. It is very hard to look at so probably need darker colours but still very cool...

I like the website but I think you should hire a graphic designer, and a signature campaign may be good for your project.

Hey guys,

Thank you for using our platform:) I changed the colors to meet the standards. Let m know if it works. I hope it will make your eyes happy!

It will look even better next month! Stay tuned  Wink

I have a simple suggestion: let the user choose what he wants to see on his dashboard.

Some ideas:
- Let the users be able to remove the "ICO's this week", "Google trends" or any other row they don't want.
- Make every row organizable. e.g: I want the portfolio news above everything in the page.
- Let the user choose how many coins he want to see per page in the "Market Cap". 50 may be too much for some users.

The ICO widget looks good. I bookmarked the page Smiley

Great feedback! Will create tickets for your requests right now to make sure we implement your suggestion. Unfortunately, it will have to wait for a month or so.. we are slammed with work!

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Simple portfolio tracker - Upcoming ICO's widget [new feature] on: June 30, 2017, 03:50:47 PM
Hi All,

As I promised earlier we finally build an ICO widget (available here: https://coin.fyi). Next week we will be adding more cool features to it so stay tuned, share with a friend or leave us a feedback plz! Although we deeply concern (scared as f&%k) about current nature of ICO's we hope you will enjoy it.

Thank you all for your great support at our original launch https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954436.msg19406869#msg19406869

p.s. Also check out our status page to see what we are working on https://coin.fyi/status (feel free to submit your own feature, we will take a close look)

UPDATE: Some ICO's changed the launch date since we collect data about their launch date, so keep in mind the date can be a bit off. We will try to update it sometime next week.

I hope I will have time/resources to build an app sometime in the future but for now, I'm polishing mobile friendly ver/design, so feel free to use it in a browser. Thank you for feedback!
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple portfolio tracker on: June 15, 2017, 12:01:29 AM
Great work on the site! Looking very promising to become a useful tool for traders.

I like the inclusion of the G Trends chart and looking forward to seeing your "this weeks ICO" idea - my suggestion for this would be to include enough info to help users make a good judgement on whether to investigate ICO further without leaving your site. Then a couple more pretty and functional charts, individual coin pages and metrics filtering/sorting (think CoinGecko) and we're in business! I think I could use someone with your set of skills on a project I'm working on. I'll PM you more details soon. Keep up the good work.

I wish I can pull your idea about providing enough info on ICO to help users make a good judgment on whether to investigate in ICO but I'm afraid this is a very complex and challenging task to pull it off. We are talking about feature-as-a-startup idea, the full analytical platform just for ICO's. I know guys from AngelList are working on some kind of project to help you do exactly what you are asking for. Sort of AngelList for ICO's. The main idea of coin.fyi will be to keep regular BTC investor informed with overall market conditions in an easy-to-use form, similar to yahoo.finance.com

This month your should expect a few features: Upcoming (current) ICO's, Portfolio News, general fixes and improvements, better mobile friendly design (iPad optimization etc.)
Next month: coin details, charts, more social analytics

p.s. Thank you for your feedback!! you can reach me at coin.fyi [at] gmail dot com
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple portfolio tracker on: June 14, 2017, 11:52:48 PM
It would be great if you could integrate Twitter hashtags, too. It is a clear indicator, how often a coin short or name is mentioned on twitter. Mostly it is followed by a sharp price increase or pump.
Thank you! I'm working on a number of cool social tracking/analytical tools and will definitely experiment with your idea! Stay tuned and thank you so much for your feedback and for using coin.fyi  Wink
14  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple portfolio tracker on: June 14, 2017, 11:48:27 PM
It would be nice if I can make it alphabetical or I can make it arranged from highest to lowest depending on the price or even a change in the price so that we can find the coins we want easier and can monitor the price very well.
It will be added shortly. This or next week.

The ICO tracker is a very nice feature that you will add and it might be the greatest edge of your website and I am looking forward to it.
Thank you =)
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple portfolio tracker on: June 14, 2017, 11:37:08 PM
Nice site, your site is working fine on me either on pc or smartphone, however i can't see the charts of those coins? Are you working on it or maybe you're not going to include this feature.
It is in development actually =)
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple portfolio tracker on: June 14, 2017, 11:29:50 PM
Wow, looks very nice!

Instead (or maybe in addition) to the google trends chart, i would put price (and volume) chart.
that way we can see the changes in the past hours, days, weeks or months.

another useful thing is to let the user choose the currency which compared to bitcoin (usd, eur, gbp, etc.)

Keep up with this great job!

Thank you for your feedback buddy:)

Thank you for such a good suggestion. I will definitely add at some point. I'm working on a Portfolio News right now and on ICO tracker so stay tuned =)

Great! But would be greater if create ann android app for this like that of blockfolio, ill count on it  Wink

Unfortunately I'm not an android guy. Coin.fyi is mobile friendly, feel free to check it out on your phone;)
18  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple portfolio tracker on: June 08, 2017, 12:22:09 PM
Just one more suggestion. How about in the Coin Market cap column, can you create a toggle to display the coin price in BTC value, not just USD. Because as a trader in Polo and Bittrex, I am more concern with the coin price in BTC not in USD.

Totally! Will add this feature asap!

Thank you for your feedback:)
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple BTC/Alts portfolio tracker on: June 08, 2017, 12:02:25 PM
Not bad. Which exchange's API are you using?

Just a minor comment tho, the shade of green color texted is painful to the eyes. Maybe a dull and darker color of green would be better.

coinmarketcap

Thank you for pointing about annoying green color, I will fix it right now!
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Simple BTC/Alts portfolio tracker on: June 06, 2017, 10:46:33 PM
Hi guys,

I built a simple dashboard called http://coin.fyi/ basically this is a ver of Yahoo finance but for BTC.

I combined coinmarketcap.com (which is great) + simple portfolio tracker + mobile friendly. Recent "to-the-moon" events definitely attracted quite a few new users and now I'm thinking what kind of new useful features can be added. Any feedback will be highly appreciated!

btw I'm adding "This week ICO's" tracker soon.
