1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can we do 15 - 30$+ per day by trading successfully in these market conditions? on: December 22, 2018, 12:31:35 PM
Thanks for valuable answers. Nice insights...

This was achievable back in the bull run (buy low, sell high)

It doesn't matter whether it is a bull run or a bear run. There are platforms where you can short during bear runs. You can make money in any market. The hard part is to know what you are doing. 99 percent of traders don't know and end up being ripped off.

Right now, with either shorting or going long, it is kind of a gamble (either goes up, or goes down), so choose one direction and place your bet.

It is always a kind of a gamble. The trick is to improve the odds in your favor by using some kind of system (based on technical analysis).

...without big capital in order not to care about attachments...
...
How to do it consistently...

That kind of return is impossible without big capital. Why? So that you can risk 1 to 2 percent of your account with each trade, not more than that. If you risk more than that, you will quickly ruin your account.
Moreover, you shouldn't measure your gains on a daily basis. That kind of consistent return is impossible on a daily basis.
Recalculate that on a yearly basis.

For some reason, it was clear to me that is a sort of gamble, but i thought some people got 100% of the hits (somehow), but this was only seeing their confidence, or management style. Yeah, 1 or 2 percent would be good because those who can afford to "bet" those percentages, already know (first of) this strategy, thus they are more vigilant, meaning they have some knowledge already, someone else would not have until hitting the bottom, or was lucky enough to listen to the right signals, and have less distractions. Also, some sort of cash flow is needed i think, in order to have spare capitol for balancing losses a bit, while also adding to the gains.
Personally i followed a bit of the chartguys, real crypto, krown, and some tone vays. Brandt is also big on crypto. Had lots of revenge trading, and lots of confusion of what the heck is going on (crypto).
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmex for noobs - Leveraged Trading. Longs and Shorts! on: December 22, 2018, 05:46:00 AM
I got absolutely blasted. Wrecked multiple times. Lesson learned, quit trying to catch the bounce. I'm making smaller, quick trades right now because I have absolutely no idea where this is going. I'm hoping for another 4k test.

A friend got busted by system overload on bitmex. Not even rushed to trade, he analyzed 9 times and traded once, but got hit by their fancy system performance.
I guess, it's a lesson learned, 1 more way to fail out of hundreds of possible ways... only few ways to actually succeed out there.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can we do 15$+ per day by trading successfully? on: December 22, 2018, 04:29:28 AM
if you think you will be making money on the daily basis with crypto your making a big mistake. you are better off just buying bitcoin
and forget about it for 5 years and then cashing out or cashing out a portion of it
Oh, sorry. What i wanted to say: I have been around for some time, and i followed some TA charting by some experienced people. Right now i am not talking about taking a risk by buying more bitcoins. I am looking for successful trades, or mindsets that people used to achieve their financial goals related to crypto... As active income, or as a passive source of income.

Any stories?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transfered 48500 BTC yesterday :) on: December 22, 2018, 04:25:49 AM
It is cool, as transaction, yes... but remember, the whole blockchain market cap is worthy of billions of dollars...
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Can we do 15 - 30$+ per day by trading successfully in these market conditions? on: December 22, 2018, 04:16:42 AM
This was achievable back in the bull run (buy low, sell high) and with the help of bounty campaigns here on the forum.
Right now, with either shorting or going long, it is kind of a gamble (either goes up, or goes down), so choose one direction and place your bet. At least it seemed so, without professional experience of technical analysis, or without big capital in order not to care about attachments...

So if one wants to achieve his target at least, can he do it?
How?
What were your successfully trades like?
How to do it consistently...

ICO-ul este anulat din motive financiare.

Următorul "memo" ne da mai multe detalii:

Quote
In the past few months, we were waiting for the establishment of the fund which had to invest in our project on a pre-sale stage. That was necessary to start the ICO. Unfortunately, the participants of the fund have decided to suspend all investments in crypto industry due to downfall of the cryptocurrency market. In this regard, we decided to stop waiting and not to do the ICO.  All funds we have collected so far will be returned.

So does the bounty ended now?

Still looking? Supposedly is until 10.10? But what about signatures count + remove process? This we must know, leave further details if have them. Ty
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what exactly are we waiting for? on: October 08, 2018, 07:36:21 PM
The same as for other asset class trading stuff. What drives twitter stocks up, or facebook? Big players getting involved in the space... for example we have one big investor, then we get another one, and so on...
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Excited Are You for Crypto? on: October 07, 2018, 11:37:23 AM
As for the joys and sorrows of the cryptocurrency, it depends on it. If you talk about prices and the market situation that rises or falls, that's a natural thing in a dynamic. Stay optimistic and think positively, will produce something positive. DO NOT HESITATE! Cool

That is the spirit! I think that crypto was a dream for many, but the common sense between all sides involved, could agree that crypto is insane and no one can speculate that well, but can hope for the best.
As a well known trader once said, keep your cake ready for when the party returns; the party might return in two weeks or 9+ months, cannot know but can be ready for it and around when is time.

Signature campaign approaching an end? On 10th was the last date afaik
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Mysteries on: October 06, 2018, 05:43:30 PM
I also wonder what do affect the prices in this manner we have got today? Why these percentages? What are the numbers based on? Someone still buying... Bitcoin has 3 billion dollars volume in 24h? What is this used for? What gives this value?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Excited Are You for Crypto? on: October 06, 2018, 05:40:34 PM
I Am excited because big entities are getting involved as we speak. Coinbase was valued at 8 insane billion dollars. What we witness in crypto might just be the beginning. Things might not be the same, but will probably still be around for some time. Look what big traders with millions of dollars think of it, and we, just as small fishes in the sea can swim along them... wisely of course.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to invest 500$ on: October 06, 2018, 10:50:50 AM
I would invest on learning (trade small). Or using leverage on some exchanges which allow USD pairs.
I am not professional and not doing this as a passion or living (i wish), but 500$ can be 1000$ on Kraken for example, with 2x leverage... and 1% can mean 10$ profit (minus exchange fees) if ur hitting the right jackpot on market turns (upwards/downwards), with all proper stop loss triggers in place each time.
I myself don't invest in anything right now. I was too much bothered by the market, as of right now i sit on the sidelines waiting for myself to settle as well as the market, too.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY CAMPAIGN :( on: October 06, 2018, 10:46:22 AM
Because crowdsale prolongs listing the coin on the exchanges i think. As little as is bearable to wait 2 months for a signature, and then be part of the project as investor as well and find all sort of news. I remember quite a few campaigns that did hit their threshold on funds and goals and still extended the campaign and had hidden hard caps. I figured most of campaigns which gathered many investors (rather then few wealthy ones; aka whales) usually are more professional on communicating.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunters on: October 06, 2018, 10:41:12 AM
I think in social media, together with other bounties... and still was under 10 i think (more over time span)
Gosh, when bounty season hits, i think we shoulda take all possibilities to stay awake and hit every bounty available... drink coffee, stay awake for 20 hours if it must... everyone who was in bounty knows the feast that can be sometimes and how everyone celebrated and joined few more again.
I personally could have gotten into more air drops and such... i remember plymouth dearly. Smiley
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making it in Crypto World. on: October 04, 2018, 10:53:21 PM
In my honest opinion, right now is the proper time to consider learning TA and read some books about how markets work. If not books, then follow TA traders on youtube (some are free) like Real crypto, Thechartguys, Krown, Tone vays... and many more.

I think the market is at a turning point, many old traders look around for new opportunities to make something.

I would consider setting stop loss on each trade.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] OFFICIAL NAUTICUS BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: October 03, 2018, 05:31:41 PM
I think it is a bit late to ask this but, tokens will be in our Nauticus account or in MEW or something like that?

Regards,
Tokens will be sent directly to your Nauticus wallet, if you haven't please PM the email address you used to register on the Nauticus website.

Do we need to sign in the kyc procedure before receiving the tokens, or that is for withdraw purposes only? I guess if we don't receive the tokens on NEX, but on the first actual site, that would imply we could do kyc later on...
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many bounties are you currently participating on: October 02, 2018, 11:28:09 PM
I see this topic is quite recent. Social media campaigns? I dunno about that. I participated in translation bounties for one of the best ICO (Farmatrust) and the bounty for me was not what i expected. Oh well... We are in a bear market i guess.

I am currently participating in signature, and i wait for payout on several bounties, including Nauticus, Flogmall, and w12 campaign. First two got the required crowdsale funds, but i fear the worst right now with this market.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the start of the bullrun already? on: October 01, 2018, 07:30:24 PM
I can see a lot of the alt coins moon already like XRP , ETN , Gas and other alts more , I think this will be the start of the bullrun . Do you agree ? Whats on your bag right now and what is still good to buy at floor price?

I'm afraid slight upward trend in the market doesn't necessarily mean its bull run. Although its close but we're not there yet looking at the market. We're getting there and November should be a month for crypto.

That is true, slight uptrend is biased to the market cycle. If we zoom out for the entire period of the month to gain some perspective, stuff happened, but also stood put... I can name a few steps or two in the market which seemed bullish, like XRP and ETH latest move... Hmmm
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the start of the bullrun already? on: September 29, 2018, 12:17:21 PM
I dunno about that imo. If you look and zoom out the ETH chart, on the weekly, it has to pass like the 255 barrier to be considered at least bullish.
On the other hand, crypto market is different then anything we seen before. Normally, you would expect nothing to move anymore, but it does and new green pastures appear this time of the year, tbh alts follow suit to ETH, but still adoption happens each day, right?
