I am a long time supporter. KORE is running a fork Public Testnet at the moment. Feel free to join the discord and help. https://discord.gg/z4cSgPAWe have now moved into testing the new PoS rewards structures, and the different aspects of how to make it an overall fair rewards for supporting the KORE Network. There is still a need for more to run the testnet wallets and masternodes. MikeMike This week we were working hard to make this new POS as a good investmen to reward everyone fairly. There is many variables to take into consideration and is not an easy job, but we will get there. Thanks everyone for the support.

For those who need a video walkthrough and the text walkthrough is not enough, you can now use this as a quick reference. I'm not proud of it but I said I would release a video that has all the steps and now I have. This will be the last time I make a promise to make something that isn't already made as it kills me to release something of such poor quality. I know I said I was going to do a video of windows compilation but I'm only going to do a very in-depth text post as I do not have the time to put into doing another video. I deeply apologize to anyone who was looking forward to a video tutorial series. Text tutorial: https://github.com/Kore-Core/testnet-koreHere is the video to use if the text tutorial is not enough for you https://vimeo.com/330696828m Thanks Matrix, this will help people. It is the easiest way to keep the code up to date without wait for new compiled releases. We do our best to keep releases up to date but it take some time to compile, thus it is better when people do it by themselves.

Any special instruction for testnet masternode, or we just have to go after the " regular " KORE masternode guide ? How many tnkore coin need for the testnet masternode setup ?
3000 tncore received, matured, testnet wallet upgraded to "KORE Fork Testnet 0.13.0.2"
You can follow the "regular" guide. Each masternode needs 500 tnkores

Glad that we got this far, now Kore got a newer version of TOR integrated in the software and use it as default for network communication. You guys can connect to the testnet network using these nodes: mx24dswy7mqs47iu.onion 7gxqjmnltrh7tplw.onion We are still fixing minor bugs as we receive feedback from users, please test it so we can make the best to improve the software. As MikeMike said Please try to break the wallet... We need to test it well!

If you have picked up a Bag O KORE please stake some to support the KORE Network and Masternodes. This will also set you up to take part in the KORE Public Testnet we are soon to initiate. The more who join the Testnet the more it helps the Coders conduct their tests. MikeMike We are getting closer to a new era for KORE, I will help the best I can to test and interact with developers to make this application better. Thanks for the support guys.

Yes I'm well aware of SS7 attacks and several other vulnerabilities in every cell phone out there. KORE's 2FA does not utilize SMS in part because of this. Though to be honest I find it very curious that something that was developed in the 70s and practically "finished" in the 80s that has been proven to be insecure is still the go-to for "verifying identity/ownership" to me it seems almost like it is purposeful these haven't been fixed in almost fifty years but maybe thats my inner conspiracy theorist talking. There are several things I personally would like to try but frankly I dont have the time, resources, equipment, or low level understanding to get my ideas on this together. However, with OpenBTS being a thing, I think its only a matter of time before hardcore developers force security into the cellular protocol space. Matrix The problem with infrastructure is that once built it is expensive to modify and companies prefer leave it as it is than upgrade because they don't have problems since the protocol is doing the job. I might be wrong but they will not upgrade, is easier create a new infrastructure than upgrade the old one. Not to mention how very convenient it is for these large behemoth corporations to have these exploits the NSA and CIA know about and use extensively for years. Makes you think twice why these large GOV contracts are so lucrative and tax breaks/GOV provided socialism off the backs of citizens exist,... that no small company could ever take advantage of. The Amazon corporation, owned by the richest man in the world paid no tax last year and while complaining about his privacy is through his company Amazon, creating the backbone of the GOV surveillance state. Amazon made a profit of over 11 Billion USA in 2018. MikeMike The funniest thing about Amazon and Privacy is that their CEO got blackmailed because he leaked something. Since they are lucrative it doesn't matter, it's up to us be carefull about what we share over the internet.
