I hope you guys took notes how not to launch a coin from the whole Maxcoin fiasco.

Can this be any more complicated? I don't understand fucking programing languages.

All I want to do is mine this damn coin and I don't even know where to start because I am overwhelmed with how complicated this whole thing is.

I still don't know what I will need to do to mine this coin... Anyone actually know?

Ok so let me get this straight, you can mine this coin from the wallet itself? How does that work? Will this be user friendly or super complicated. Also if you mine from the wallet how do pools work?

Will this coin have it's own exchange at launch?

I am just so excited about the potential if this coin. All I want to know is, are we 6 months away, 12 months away? Just a good ballpark is I'm looking for.

With the Kickstarter project, will we require USD or can we do LTC?

Joined your pool, looks good so far! Need a few more miners.

When it comes around time to finally release this, I would like, for once, for there to be a 48 hour announcement period BEFORE the clients are released.

Same here. I want some notice so that I can get my miner set up before the action commences. This coin looks like it could be around for the long haul, and I'd love for my early-adopter investment to pay off.

Client (along with a CPU and GPU miner) will be encrypted by scrypt and packaged with a program to decrypt it long before the actual release.  A time will then be given for mining to begin.  At this time, you get the password, and everyone gets to mine at the same time.  Depending on the interest expressed, the starting difficulty will be set at around 2000-6000 7970's worth of power for 2 minute/block target time.  Multiple pools are also planned to be available at launch.

If you could do one more thing, get this coin ready on an exchange site before launch, I think that would help the coin tremendously because it prevents people from getting scammed.

Just my two cents.

So many sellers, so few buyers.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MC2 ("Netcoin"): A cryptocurrency based on a hybrid PoW/PoS system on: May 07, 2013, 04:52:52 PM
Also I think it would be prudent to release some sort of trading platform on day 1 so people don't get scammed.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][CNC][0% Fee][GIGABIT] CHNCoin Simple Pool - Technocoma.co.uk on: May 05, 2013, 10:53:30 PM
I was mining @4000KH/s for 4 hours. I should have gotten 60 CNC.

What I did get was 32 CNC.

I'd say: Scam alert!

Not a scam, you have something called unpaid shares, which if you stopped mining, they would keep paying you out. This is because the 120 confirmation and it takes time.

What's better? Stratum or not?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlockBurner FPGA - Litecoin Miner - subReddit active! on: May 02, 2013, 03:18:12 PM
All I ask is make a new thread when it's time to order. Give us a heads up like " we will be taking orders in 2 weeks" it gives some people that don't have liquidity time to get some funds together and not miss the boat so to speak.

Regards,
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to buy LTC or sell LTC ? What do forum gurus say ? ;D on: May 02, 2013, 03:09:24 PM
Mine/buy and hold! LTC should skyrocket in the next year or two.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to sell my 40 LTC (for USD) safely @ BTC-e spot price, any takers? on: May 02, 2013, 03:00:34 AM
Oh wasent aware, never sold there. I usually just buy BTC and cash out direct deposit into my bank account.
