Just bought combined total 1btc over the past 3 weeks, from 6400 down to 5000$ this morning. Will buy more if next week. wife said fuck it, buy to the end.

I replace my thermal paste regularly every 2month, I live in the tropical area plus almost half of my rig was R9 series. I'm using DeepCool z9 it cost me around $8, I'll need ten pcs each time replacing the thermal paste. The results are pretty good for me.
I have AMD Vega 56, but i couldn't unscrew the screws  All the crews now mess up since i forced to open with screw driver. Any solution for my case? |

Is it always the same slot that has the underperforming card? Is it the same riser each time? Also, did you try a different power supply?
It's not always the same card. Every time i switch pcie slot, the underperforming card also switch. One thing i noted today, one of my cards always 15oC hotter then the rest of the rig. But today, i unplugged that card, the other 3 become weird. One card was mining at lower hashrate. one card became hotter. The last one was normal. |

Set min fan speed to 3000. It is droping cuz of HBM temp and the fan rpm is related to core temp ONLY. So, HBM must be bellow 70 witch means core temp must be bellow 60 since HBM is usually 10 hotter than core. You'll need to check that. If you was getting 2k, its not windows or bios. It is temp. You dont need to follow the guide but there is a lot of info there. Check windows settings and crossfire in registry. http://vega.miningguides.com/p/tuning.htmlgood luck HBM are all below 75. I run my vegas at a temp target of 62 with 3000 prm fan I think you said it is just the one card. Can you run it alone again and set the temp target really low and the fan really high? yea, its just one card. Before it was the Red Devil 64. Since i switched it to other pcie slot, now the vega 56 has a low hashrate. |

Does your BIOS have a setting for "4g decoding" or a setting for changing the PCIE version to use?
I have 4G option on, and tried both gen 1 or 2 for pcie. Also i added 4G ram to my rig this morning make it to 8G ram, 200G virtual ram. still sign of improvement. |

Hi all, I got 4 vega cards, 2x56, 2x64. everything was fine until i added the 4th card to my rig. All 4 cards hashed about 1900-2000H/s for ~40seconds, then 1 one the card's hashrate dropped to 1400H/s. So i switched this card to different pcie slot. Then one of other 3 hashrate dropped. Im using TB85 motherboard, 4G ram. What do you recommend to fix this issue? I assume the motherboard got bottleneck. but i don't know how to solve this issue. please help me  What mining software are you using? I tried both cast and stak, but same result. |

Sometime that card reach 1500H/s then other 3 other drops total of 300H/s. So, total hashrate of all 4 cards in any case always around 7200H |

I just added another Vega 64 to my rigs. It was 1xvega 64 and 2x56. Before i got 1800H/s for ea of vega 56. now i only get 1400H/s average. I did all the trick but i couldn't fix it. any advice? thanks
Can you try running each card in a different instance? Edit your config file and only run card 0 Then edit it again, and run card 1 then card 2 and then card 3 You should have 4 windows. I had the same problem with 2 cards, low hash rate when run together. Then I decided to run one card on ETN and the other on XMR, both now get over 1900 when run by themselves. Interested to know if it works for anyone else Hi, i tried 2cards each windows mining XMR with cast. it's still the same card running at lower hashrate (~1400H/s). Anyone here has solution for this case? Cards attached by risers? Have you swapped it around with the other cards to see if that changes anything? Update: i run the Red Devil 64(the lower hashrate card) only, it still ran at 1800H/s, then dropped to 1400~ and stable at that number. Do you meant switching riser to different pcie or switching the card to different riserS? |
