Hello, what is the best setting for Dual Xeon E5-2670
My command -t 20

That's probably about right, I have a single E5-2680v3 which give me about the same hash rate

Another newbie question :-

I want to mine on a 2nd PC, can I get it to mine to the same wallet ?

I have tried with the same batch file as PC1 but I seem to get loads of 'Stratum requested work restart' messages

Thanks again   Smiley

Yes you can mine to the same wallet.
Just add this line (without quotation mark) "miningaddress=walletAddressThatYouWantToMineTo" to your hodlcoin.conf file in your ....AppData\Roaming\HOdlcoin  folder.

The wallet should mine to whatever address that you listed.

Thanks for your reply, but....

I don't have a ....AppData\Roaming\HOdlcoin

I have a 'mining' directory from where I run the hodleminer.exe via a simple batch file, and have my wallet installed in a separate directory

I have not tweeked it or optimized it in any way (mainly as I don't know how too), so probably not as efficient as it could be

No problem, just add -miningaddress=walletAddressThatYouWantToMineTo at the end of the hodleminer.exe in the batch file.

e.g.  hodleminer.exe -miningaddress=walletAddressThatYouWantToMineTo

Thanks for the info, however, when I add that to my batch file it just crashes, I am sure I am missing something obvious

my batch file is :-

hodlminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://hodl.optiminer.pl:5555 -u <my wallet address> -p x -q

Thanks

Hi,

Can anyone help, I have u[graded to v3 but my blockchain is not updating, it says I am connected to the network.

but I get the following errors in the log :-

2017-07-08 11:07:57 ERROR: AcceptBlockHeader: block is marked invalid
2017-07-08 11:07:57 ERROR: invalid header received
2017-07-08 11:07:57 ProcessMessages(headers, 178003 bytes) FAILED peer=14

Thanks

hi , welcome to Hodlcoin.
I hope you mean v3.0.1 , it can sometimes help to start the wallet with some known peer node ip addresses who are on v3.0.1 , you can find the list here , http://www.fuzzbawls.pw/explore/HOdlcoin/network.php
push the nodes button next to 3.0.1  and add some of those to your hodlcoin.conf file which is in same dir as your wallet.dat file. Then start your wallet again.

I thanks, I actually needed to start a reindex of my local blockchain, but all up and running now, thanks  Smiley

Hi everyone,

New to the whole crypto scene.

I have a few spare PC's so I have chosen to mine HOdl, as the PC's are always on so I though why not...

I am stuck on how to sign the blocks I have mined, for instance the block below

http://www.fuzzbawls.pw/explore/HOdlcoin/owner.php?address=HLkF5XGyK4wk716uVYfAbszEToPGsi9kvJ

Thanks in advance
