MINE WITH SPEED
Zcash are most profitable than any other mining hardware equihasher A1& A2 (Muted miners).Zcash mining are better than bitcoin dash monero ethereum. It doesn't create sound(noise) muted miners you can easily start mining at home. It gives huge return (return on investment) roi with zcash mining. If you can get zcash mining hardware then why taking risk with cloud mining contract.
Buy zcash mining hardware equihasher  https://equi-hash.com
All the purchasing cost will recover in 2 or 3 months.  Not like other mining hardware like bitcoin that the initial purchasing cost will recover in atleast 10 months or may be after it.

Rx 580 is not really worth it for zec mining..

Wait till vega Release or buy gtx 1070 1080 or 1080ti
Much better efficency

Hope claymore will Support nvidia soon for zcash

I'm thinking of buying two vega rigs or two gtx 1080 rigs

1080gtx is good for efficency if you pay for electricity
Hope that vega will get at least 600 sols for 150W max.

1 of my rigs is stopping sometimes and then starting again how i can fix that? Thanks in advanced!

Had same problem

Started with some random restarts like once every 2 days and at the end every 3 hours

Then I saw a lot dust in my those gpus fans and cooling ribs
I guess the dus caused the gpu to oberheat and restart

Removed dust with vacuum cleaner..Problem fixed

I heard Vega 10 Gpu will be around 600$

Is 600 H/s realistic for Vega 10?...of course after some claymore tuning

Thinking about building 2 vega 10  6 gpu rigs

FYI you can get the Fury at $230 that give you 470 sols @ 250 watts. That's 5650 Sols total on a total investment of $2700. The monthly profit is $825 giving you a 3 month ROI, The Vega at $500 a piece will give you an ROI in 8 month.

Thats right but if you have to pay for energy then fury is not the best card
Vega 10 should at least give 3- 3.5 H/s/watt
And of course future speed improvements for Vega cards with hbm2 is another point.

I have 2 Rx480 and 1 Rx470

Working perfect with one card directly plugged into pcie x16 and 2 usb powered risers

Now I bought another Rx480 with usb riser

So my problem is with 4 cards plugged into Mother board PC (Win 10) does not boot...
Fans are spinning on all 4 cards
Anybody know why??

Maybe its because of PSU?
Its 750 Watt

I have to undervotlage my 4xRX480 4GB to run from a 1000W PSU. Really can't see how 750W would have a chance.

Im underclocking and undervolting so I wont have more than 550 Watts at the Wall with 4 cards.

But maybe PSU checks before booting and says 4 cards are too much? Is that possible?

No. Reinstall driver.

Reinstalled driver..but still same problem
Any idea?
Is there a Problem with amd crossfire?
Its 3 way so maybe thats the problem

My Rx480 8 GB cards hash with 1.46 H/s/watt
Underclocked and undervolted
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.0 on: December 08, 2016, 02:30:49 PM
Anyone knows why my GPU 0 is about 20H/S faster than my other gpus?
GPU 0 pushes ~ 230 H/S! Other GPU's ~ 210 H/S

All cards are Rx 480 Nitro+

210 H/s is not bad but why is GPU 0 so high??
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: December 01, 2016, 04:22:20 PM
We just hit and crossed 20,000 blocks so we should know be getting the full emission rate of 12.5 ZEC per block.

This should hopefully reflect in the mining rewards

after that DEV reward of Zcash is 0%  Huh

I thougt 20% dev reward is until first halvening in 4 years?

May I ask for little help?
I'm new to mining and have 2xSapphire Nitro+ RX480 8Gb OC version. On stock settings I get about 195-200 sols/s - about 350W from wall

Can you recommend me better settings for OC  (if not better sols is possible, then lower power consumption)

Thanks

My settings with the rx 480 nitro + OC are gpu 1280 mhz / 1035 mV  and mem 2235 mhz 990mV
Temps 70 °C
i 2

Pushing around 188 - 201 H/S

130 W at wall for one card

Overclock higher than 1340 mhz only make sense if you got free electricity.. maybe they push 210 - 215 h/S with 1400 mhz gpu but wattage is too high

One guy here said he got beyond 250 H/s with that Red devil rx 480 card
This card has much higher TDP but wattage is way over 250 Watt

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: November 25, 2016, 02:07:47 PM
V8

Getting between 190-195 sol/s with my:

AMD Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ OC 4GB stock, out of the box Cheesy
...

-tt 60
-i 4

I'm getting 185-190 with the 8gb version! probably because its running a monitor(?). The asus rx480 8gb in the same rigs getting 195-200

My rx 480 nitro+ getting around 195h/s exept gpu 0 is at 205h/s....maybe because of the monitor is plugged in at GPU0

Maybe plugging hdmi dummies to the other cards??

Anybody knows when setting the gpu voltage too low, does the System crash immidiately showing this driver Crash bluescreen

Or can it also take longer like a few hours to 1 day if you are near the "limit"?

it can take a while. the psu line regulation and the cards regulators do have some variance when running. just takes a while for some combination of events to cause it to drop below that magic voltage.

top rated psus help stability.

Good to know!

But I'm not getting bluescreen then..just freeze and wattage drops to half and cards running just for 10 sec then stop and again running for short time

That makes it even harder to find out the best voltage Cheesy

But that was with v7

Trying v8 with 1035 mV at 1280mhz gpu (Rx 480 nitro+)
Stable for 17h now, we'll see..

Anybody got better results?

Had some System freezes while adjusting gpu voltage but only after the miner was running for 5h or more

Do you realize that we are all rising the hashrate, rising the diff, and then earning the same as before??

Exept linux unsers Cheesy
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: November 24, 2016, 06:25:20 PM
Each rx 480 nitro gets about 195 H/S

~ 1.2 H/s/Watt

Execpt GPU 0 is always a bit higher like +5% than the other GPUs

Anybody know why?

Maybe because the monitor is plugged in there?
