In 5 years i hope that ETH will have a high price and i think of a price of at least 2k. If that is going to happen a lot of people will have a good profit just because they have invested in ETH.
Its already the second best coin on coinmarket.

This is possible. Bitcoin is not a stable coin and it is not controlled so the users will decide how much it will be worth. If everyone stops using Bitcoins the coin would die.
In short Bitcoin will someday lose his value because nothing lasts forever and without support it will surely go down.

You can invest on Blockchain if you have a wallet on there. You can also just invest on exchanges so you can buy it on there. Beware that some of these exchanges could be a scam.
There will sometime that you will be hacked so spread your coins in other wallets.

well if you have $500 now and you wanna invest I will advise you to go for ETH. the coin has been pumping up for a while now and dont be surprise the price might reach $1000/ETH by first quarter of 2018. i can not advise you to buy BTC now because the price is very high now. Ltc has not been encouraging for a while now i do not see the coin pumping up any time soon. still around $72 for LTC. token market is not doing fine now but if you want to give it a short you can invest in AION. the token is already listed in two exchange website and it is also on coinmarketcap
This is very logical. Bitcoin is now very expensive it would not be wise to invest in it now. While ETH is now a lot cheaper than bitcoin it has also good potential. Don't forget that there are also coins that are made of Ethereum itself. |

Sometimes airdrops can be profitable because you are not working hard. I think that most of them are not scam you can easily make money with a trusted airdrops but you must be early.
Because sometimes the airdrop is full so you can't get your tokens with it.

I would choose bitcoin because you can make more profit with bitcoins than gold. Gold will be gold and bitcoin can even become bigger then it already is and it is still becoming bigger also the price of gold can become stable and the price of bitcoin cannot.
I prefer investing in bitcoin also because I know that in bitcoin I can earn more, in case or emergency I can withdraw it anytime I want, gold is good but since it is law regulated that is why its value is not that good, you are also earning but not too high but it is good also if you have investments in gold as you can also en cashed it anytime when needed. Bitcoin has more liquidity rather than gold because when you are trying to sell gold then you need to find a buyer or sell it for a lower price in order to sold that bitcoin. Bitcoin is better because of the ease to earn money and to get the money from it and it has an advanced technology which is great for the people in our world in the future. Yeah, we can sell our Bitcoin through online payment easilier than sell Gold through directly. Although we can buy/sell Gold through digital exchange like Bitcoin, but there are not much people choose this form because most of people want to keep safe their asset. Unlike Gold, Bitcoin does not have any risk when holding in our wallet unless your PC or hardware wallet have problem  I agree with you also gold is much easy target for criminals because they cannot take your pc with them and go into your wallet if you have a good wallet like i do then even that would be no problem at all for you. Actually they can today there are even password breakers so they can easily go in to your pc and they can see everything what you have in your computer. Thats why I have set up a passoword for my boot. This will disable thieves to go in to my computer you msut do that also if you don't want that to happen. |

My strategy is to buy coins when the price is really cheap but only when its really cheap and not like 100 dollars or something like that. Its for me expensive so i go to cheaper coins.
I sell my coins when the price hits his limit this is way better than selling it for a little bit profit so i save coins as long as i can.

Many people are holding bitcoins because they know that its way more profitable than selling it now. Many of them also buy it for to sell them when its high enough.
Nearly no one buys it for fun or as a payment method only hackers and scammers do this.

Hello guys, I currently have quite a bit of NEO and I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to dump it all on Dash or another currency?
I'm thinking about putting all my faith on Dash with the Dash evolution coming up.
Opinions? Thanks!
Edit: Also I like the fact that holding NEO generate free GAS.
Neo will boom once China decided on Ico status. No one knows when it'll happen though. So I'd definitely not dump it all. Leave 50% at least I agree NEO would surely rise again when China decide something else about ICO. NEO had always being a good coin in my opinion it would be foolish and dumb to dump it when you can earn more with it. I have also some NEO i will try to hold them as long as possible. |

I think that there are many banks against it because they are afraid to lose their people to bitcoin. This is normal because if i was a bank owner i will do everything to stop bitcoin.
I would manipulate the people thinking that bitcoin can make you lose all your money.

I think not dollars and euro's are very strong even when bitcoin is at 50k people will still use euro's and dollars. I will even use dollars instead of using bitcoins to buy bread in the shops.
It can control a little bit if its really high but that will take a long time.

my answer is absolutely yes.. i stopped collect bitcoin in earlier this year because i have to focus on my work, just a few month and now as we see surprising bitcoin rising price is extraordinary. i regret having sold my btc before, if i know i will keep it mine  but it's not too late i will focus to collect and save btc again and i'll keep it as a long term investation. Yeah no one was expecting that much high price from the bitcoin because the bitcoin is increasing more and more I can do the value of the bitcoin will be more than this till the bitcoin will grow and all the people will see how fast the bitcoin will help the people to be the rich person and how fast it will be the best currency I can see the value of the bitcoin will help all the people and the price of the bitcoin will be 45000$ in the future. For some people they are surprise but for me I am not, I mean we were expected that Bitcoin price will goes higher but when years past by, that was the time that my expression is just like this  . All i can say is WOW, I didn't expected that bitcoin price will higher that fast. Bitcoin really helps people because other people always say that if you will use bitcoin you will be rich, thats why I was so shocked. I also expected that sometime bitcoin would rise very high and so it is now. I even think that bitcoin has the potential to go over 15k many experts are also saying this. So i think that we can have a lot of money in the future just because bitcoin will rise very high. |

I think that litecoin will have a good chance because its already at 60 dollars now. I have already have some litecoins in my wallet i hope that it will rise so i can sell my coins.
Maybe other coins will go to 100 dollars, but litecoin has the most chance because its more popular.

It is good because they can rise very high if they have a lot of support so its worth to do a investment on these ico's. Before that you must need to research everything about this ICO.
Search about their team,whitepaper etc. If they have a good project this can maybe worth something.

I think the title says it all. After a long time of thinking, reading and also investing a bit into Bitcoin I have to say that it looks for me that the main use is actually just pure Investment. It always looks like that everyone just talks about how great the Technology is although they secretly want to get super rich with a always raising price. Of course it's used with several shopping or daily things, but that's just such a small part of it. During that, people who don't want to take the risk to invest call it a "Bubble" and people who don't want to lose their money just make kind of stupid speculations without any arguments. In the end (just my opinion) the price of Bitcoin is controlled by all the media (that's hyping bitcoin and talking about it everywhere) and all the really big bitcoin whales with e.g. like 10000+ coins can actually effect the market the most. Imagine what a few people with a huge amount of bitcoins could work out together to control the market and making money. It's just weird, because it turns this, what everyone calls it, great technology in the end just to a fully commercial object to earn money. Which would be probably also the reason why it stays and raises all the time, because it's normal that everyone wants to make a big amount of money with this little effort. Let me know what you guys think and please don't give me this non argumented one liner like in all the other threads  Yes bitcoin is a investment... i been use it for trading,bounty,airdrop,lending and ico project.. It gives more money to me Yes, bitcoin is a investment coin nearly no one uses it to only order things from the internet, only people who are buying illegal things. I have invested in bitcoin also. So i think that nearly everyone here has invested in bitcoin for the money. |

I think not, because no coin will be this much supported in this market. Everyone knows about bitcoin and if a new coin will rise up many people would still be loyal to bitcoin like me.
So its very hard to a altcoin to take bitcoins place in my opinion.

Actually it is not a good time to buy bitcoin now the price is way too expensive. Wait for it to fall really hard maybe to 4 or 3k. I would then try to invest in it.
You can also look to altcoins if bitcoin is still expensive.

BTC or ETH same coin the class. So can not choose one other coin yg sdh always on top.dan BTC always still the best but ETH still can follow
I agree, I’d rather choose bitcoin than Ethereum. Although I do like both coins, I’m most favorable with Bitcoin because of its huge price right now and Ethereum is having a hard time trying to increase its price because of bitcoin reaching a new ath again. I also will choose for ETH. Bitcoin is way too expensive for me to do a investment. My friends and i can just not gather the money its now 7k for 1 bitcoin. So we are planning now to invest in ETH. I think its way better because its not too expensive now. |

I told my friends but some of them did not. Some of my friends told me that they will not invest but rather earning coins. They were newbies so i told them to claim from faucets.
It is not a lot of money worth but hey it is coins yes.

You need to invest in altcoins when the price is really cheap. Most of the altcoins are now cheap i suggest you to start investing now before they are rising in their prices.
After a few years you will see that you have made profit, but with luck ofcourse.
