2  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: July 07, 2023, 11:32:50 PM
While growing up things were quite easy, an I also know that life was also easy for the common man, not until 2018 that things start changing for the worst, from then till now the rate at which inflation have struck my country to an all time high is so alarming.
Everyday price of things keeps on changing but the salaries of a civil servants still remain the same, the money that we use too feed from, buy water, pay rent, pay for light an even save from, now it can't even service our monthly needs for even half of the month.
Most times I feel for people that have many children because too get basic needs in today's economy is very difficult,
the annoying part is that the government an it agencies are doing nothing or less about the cost control of goods and services in the state.
An this has created a torn in the lives of many as situations keeps on getting worse by the day.
Am wondering if it's same experience in other part of the world.

i have a friend that he is in the same situation, his earning from civil servants is low more over he live in the capital of the country which means the price of basic needs is higher than price of needs in the local regency. So what he do is manage their financial such as control the expense and do the side job for more income.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to get mod jobs on any crypto platforms on: July 07, 2023, 11:13:18 PM
I have seen many people working as moderator or mod for social media platforms like discord, telegram, forums, etc. how to get that kind of jobs easily and what maybe the process of getting a job like this.

and also share your experience, if you ever worked at this type of job like how you got that job and what was the process, what strategy you used to qualify for that job.
I ever see that some bounties campaigns pay people to be modertor (or something like that) on telegram to direct the audience / their crypto fans then keep the discussion on the telegram is active and keep it stay conducive.

You can find some bounties like that here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0 after that you can apply as like you apply any bounties on this forum.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship between social media and Bitcoin on: July 07, 2023, 10:58:39 PM
Social media has the potential to affect bitcoin positively, but it can also have negative consequences, causing both large rises and falls in price.Perhaps,it is the first place people go to when they want the latest news on bitcoin;you see them in places like Twitter,Reddit and Youtube. They want to know what people are talking about and what the next big thing is.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that social media is powerful, and its high time we understand that no matter how good or bad a post is,it has the potential to affect the market. Possibly, I believe social Media will play a signtificant role in Bitcoin's promotion, indulgence, maturation and exposure because of it's educational power.
But as long as you use bitcoin in right way it will affect positively. for example, every investors including bitcoin investor need to read news about their investment to anticipate how the fluctuations will be going. So, with the social media they can find news easily then help them to make anticipation planning towards the fluctuation of the price.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better on: July 07, 2023, 09:36:44 PM
I've studied most Bitcoin investors, those who have money to invest are the ones going around looking for someone to teach them how to invest, the first thing they want to learn is how to use the exchange to make purchases using Fiat on the exchange, they are always in hurry, they have no time.
They are in hurry to get profit by investing in bitcoin, but if those people did not make good invesment planning they will only lose their investment.

Those who don't have money, have all the time to keep learning and reading stuff online about Bitcoin and the crypto space, they have no reason to be in any hurry and it seems they are the ones that avoid the unnecessary dramas in the crypto space because they took their time to learn first.

Do not walk away from Bitcoin investment because you don't have the money, it's even better not to have money because you will have the patience to learn more about everything, and when the money comes, you will be able to avoid many dramas.
After being patient to learn bitcoin, you will still be able to meet "drama" as like what you said. The drama can be caused (one of many reasons) from volatility of the bitcoin price. it can not handle only by learning bitcoin.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: I cannot go home if I don't make a lot of money now!! on: July 06, 2023, 11:25:22 PM
when i was kids, i need to study very hard, to get a lot of score in the test. if i got a zero mark in a math test, i am very scare to go home and show the test paper to my mum.

when i am grown up, i have kids and wife now, i need to work very hard, to get a lot of money in the job. if i got a paycut, or i got fired, i am very scared to go home, i can't sleep well, my head is sweating, the memory of getting zero mark in a test keep haunting me like the nightmare, i need to go out and make a lot of money!!

tell me anything i need to do to make a lot of money. doesn't matter what, i would do anything to get all the money, even if it mean unlawful and unethical!
even if you do not  say that you will do anything to get all the money (mean unlawful and unethical), you will still be able to get some money here from better way. you can join some bounty campaigns that paid in alternative currency. You can find your best bounty here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

but before you decide to join any campaign you have to acknowledge all of rules on the forum and some ethical forum.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Procrastination, Buy Bitcoin And Prepare For The Next Halving. on: July 06, 2023, 11:12:59 PM
Procrastination which is said to be the act of delaying something important despite knowing the consequences of doing so, is one of the reasons why many people miss out on big opportunities.
-snip-
This forthcoming halving is very important very important because at this period the price of bitcoin affects most other cryptocurrencies in the market, so now is the best and perfect time to buy and hodl cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin and make profits when it becomes more scarce thereby making it's value to go High.
You can share your ideas and opinions if you know more about the bitcoin halving and for the procrastinators, it's better late than never.
I think when you have enough money in idle position, it is not wrong if you decide to buy bitcoin as much as you can cover it then holding patiently to the next halving occurs on the blokchain . But if you do not have enough money then do not force your financial to buy a lot at this time to wait for net halfing. it will potentially harass your financial health.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A portion of my clothing store's weekly profit is invested in Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 10:54:18 PM
I have a small cloth shop. Currently everything in my own country is very expensive, so we are facing many problems in our life. The shop I have used to sell well. But now due to the increase in price, there are not as many customers or sales as before. Again. On top of that I have to pay rent for the shop which has become a bit difficult for me. After entering this platform I got to know Bitcoin. Then after browsing many places I realized that I can earn money by investing in Bitcoin. So I want to invest in Bitcoin. So I have my weekly I decided to invest in bitcoin from a profit share. I think I made the right decision. I hope that I can use my bitcoin profit for other purposes. Hope you guys can help me with good advice.
if you think that when you invest in bitcoin then you are optimistic to get a profit you will only find a regret because there is no guarantee to get profit while you invest in bitcoin. It is not simply to just put a money in bitcoin then you got profit share, bitcoin is just not like a common share that will give you profit certainly.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: July 06, 2023, 06:05:44 PM
Yes!
you got the topic very correct and I do mean it because after my last thread, I was actually wondering  the essences of having all the knowledge  about bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large and still don't have the money to buy, I just feel its a waste of effort and such a person  with all his knowledge  will definitely miss out of the opportunities in bitcoin and I'm  on the opinion  that people still need to always have some form of money at all time to buy bitcoin especially  at every instance a dip arises and I want to know the essence of wanting to crowd ones brain Brain with so much about bitcoin  when such a person doesn't have any more to buy rather than seeking ways to buy?
Do you ever think how much people who do not have money but can earn and start investing into bitcoin ? if we look back at the years of 2016 - 2018 the hype of crypto currency project was very high, then people do not need to start having much money before joinning the bitcoin sphere. They just enroll for bounty or etc to get some movements. Some of them used their knowledge to get earning.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin will become stable currency? on: July 05, 2023, 11:54:40 PM
I was thinking about Bitcoin as a currency a lot lately and I have some doubts about how currently we see its future.

The problem is, in order for Bitcoin to become a currency everyone will use, it should be stable. I know that you might say that people will still use it because it's not about stability, it's about freedom and technology. I agree with that, but Bitcoin needs to be stable in order for people to treat it like money, and not like an asset.

Just look at what people are saying right now, experts say that people shouldn't hold USD because inflation is just 5% a year, but imagine if you have bitcoin that can go down like 5% a day because some whales sold it. It will be problematic for people to use it on a daily basis because of that.

I know that people say that when Bitcoin will be adopted, it should become stable because there is a limited amount of it, but I don't see how it's gonna happen. From what I see people treat bitcoin as an asset to invest and hold and I can't imagine that will change in the future.

Why do you guys think Bitcoin will really become the "money of the future" and people will actually use it like one?
From what I see, I think it's possible that people in the future will still trade bitcoin or try to buy as much of it as possible to manipulate the market.
Bitcoin can not to be stable currency because it does not have backed up value. if you compare it to the US Dollar it is certainly different. because US dollar has back up value in gold , it is managed by the The Federal Reserve System (The Fed), so could bitcoin has back up value in the future ?
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: July 05, 2023, 11:36:48 PM
I think the world will be a better place without notice or segregation between the rich and the poor if Bitcoin is embraced fully since Bitcoin is not a currency of a particular country everyone has the equal right and power to either store it or use it.
But this is not going to happen, we've seen countries banning bitcoin and disliking it. From our perspective, there's nothing wrong in adopting bitcoin wholly. While for those countries, they're seeing something bad on it so they wouldn't touch it and won't allow its people to get involved on it. With that, they can't be sure if how many of their people owns bitcoin secretly. This is not about dividing the rich and the poor but, this is all about embracing a new technology and monetary system that's no longer requiring the intervention of a government entity.
it is very hard to make bitcoin fully adopted in the whole world with any countries who ban it because we can not force all countries accept bitcoin since they have their own right to manage their own governance. some governments of countries prohibit to use bitcoin because they feel that bitcoin has many risks for their citizens and their on going national economy.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: July 05, 2023, 11:23:02 PM
In my country i observed so many people doing rally and blame the government why the basic needs price rise and the salary is still very low and not enough for daily expenses, is this the effect of the Ukraine and russia war that makes the gas or crude oil so high at price and they pass the gas expenses to the product and it ends to very high price of the basic needs that make us very poor, I see government has a move to resolve the problem but many people are still blaming the government.
Actually, it is not only in your country. I am sure that this case is happen in the many countries, including of mine. So, all effort from the goverment of any country to resolve proverty will not effectively worked if the society do not support it. Both of these party should have to move together for the changes.
You can see how the japan' s goverment and their citizens support each other to get better life massively, any country should look up to the japan' s goverment and their citizen.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I love Bitcoin on: July 05, 2023, 11:06:17 PM
Here are some valid reasons that made me to love Bitcoin:

Bitcoin is completely decentralized, which means that no government or banks can have control over it. Traditional currencies, such as fiat, for example, the US dollar, Euro, and others, are controlled by banks and governments, but Bitcoin is not controlled by anyone. It works on a P2P (peer-to-peer) network of millions of users.

i am trying just to be neutral, the decentralization concept on bitcoin is like two sides of the blade. In one side it is an advantage that like what you said but in the other side it is a disadvantage because no third party who regulate your money it means there is no party who protect your money from any disturbance. then the second reason is one of the reason scam risk on this digital money.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk; a school on its own. on: July 04, 2023, 11:36:29 PM
I am aways very grateful that I am part of this community, and I don't know how my life would have been If I wasn't part this amazing community.I termed it a school due to how broad it is,and how impactful it's knowledge has been on us.So many persons started this forum knowing nothing about bitcoin, but due to the ideas, topics of discuss, and knowledge shared in this forum, they have known several things, and are also teaching other people about bitcoin. We are here to discover several other things we haven't known about bitcoin, and it is only in this Forum that we can get such information, because we have lots experienced people here.I'm glad to belong to this school of thought," Bitcointalk School of thought."
Yeah you might be true, as long as i know this forum is the most active forum for discussion and provide many knowledge. You can find a lot of knowledge reagrding to the bitcoin and crypto currency. So it is good enough to hear if you labeled this forum as bitcoin school of thought.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seniors vs Kids — in the future of Bitcoin on: July 04, 2023, 11:15:34 PM
I saw some post in this forum talking about kids with cryptocurrency. We all know that the "youth are the hope of our Country", this is what Jose Rizal said, known as a national hero in the Philippines before he died. So if we relate this with Bitcoin, kids has a lot of time, strength and potentials than Seniors, and I think most of you agree with that. However, we shouldn't force our kids to learn Bitcoin if they're not willing, we have to wait patiently for the right time.

I saw a news saying that in "2022 Crypto scams against seniors surged 78%", you might agree that one of the reason why these happened is the lack of knowledge in cryptocurrency. But a lot of seniors contributes to the success of Bitcoin.

Do you agree that kids is the future of Bitcoin than with seniors?
And which of them will contribute the most?

This is an interesting topic to be discussed. you said that seniors contribute to the succes of bitcoin, there is no doubt with it because they are motor of bitcoin movement because they are the investors who have the money rather than kids who do not have it (generally like that). But both of them have their time to contribute. Seniors have more contributions at present time, then kids will be potentially have chance to contribute in the future.
16  Other / Archival / Re: No panic while holding my Bitcoin on: July 04, 2023, 10:57:36 PM
First before i bought my first bitcoin, i first of all build a good understand of the market and how bitcoin volatility works, and also learned about the effect of external forces in determining the price of Bitcoin  such as exchange crisis and other governmental policies that can have short time effect on bitcoin.
You did good learning but it is not enough. Purely reading and learning can not help you understand it entirely. You must be in the market to digest such knowledge and feel about it. With your experience, you will know such knowledge is right or wrong.

Sure i agree with you, experience will be the reason you can understand this bitcoin or crypto currency sphere, but i do not say that you do not need to learning textual knowledge of bitcoin. You can also get experience from some one else, for example you start trading bitcoin with guidance from your friend who is already mastered on trading bitcoin. Then you can take his experience how he will do if bitcoin price is drop, when he will cut lose and when he will keep holding.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Buys Bitcoin When The Price is 100k$? on: July 04, 2023, 10:25:42 PM
When you buy Bitcoin hen the price is 100k$ then how much will you sell it back to make profit because at that time the price of Bitcoin might not exceed 100k$ and if the price didn't not exceed that amount you will become a loser in the business so how does the vendors do at that time?
You have many choices to do. If you are not faith enough with bitcoin price will go up, One of choice you can do is cutting your lose and then do short trade to get back your loses by income from short trade. This way is done by many people to avoid higher lose.

Or you buy at that time and thinking that it will go up to 200k$ but ironically, the price come below 100k$. What will be you faith/fate. Many companies stopped function last year because they accumulated a lot of Bitcoin when the price was high and they were thinking that the price would go up for them to sell them off and make their profit from there but instead the price of Bitcoin drastically come down very well. So the companies  enter bankruptcy and folded. So exchange are trying to avoid such mistakes, so that they can run a long journey.
If you are really faith in bitcoin you will always hold your bitcoin untill your targeted price is touched then get profit from it. but if you do not patient it is up to you to lose selling.

Will the price pass 100k$ next year 2024 for buys to make their gain?

to be honest i am doubt about it, if the price is increase, i think it will not touch 100.000$ .
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The relationship between educational qualification and quality of post. on: July 03, 2023, 11:35:30 PM
Do you think the level of academic qualifications and life experience that a member of forum has, has a direct influence on the quality of post that  he/she makes here on this forum?
Do you feel users who are known to be quality posters in various boards are individuals with high educational qualifications and vast experience.

The level of education cannot be used as the main reason for all members in this bitcointalk forum to have good quality of posts. however, people who have a higher education generally have the mindset ability to complexly process information so they may produce better information.

But I emphasize again that the statement above is not an absolute statement. like the case, there are  may not a few members who don't have high education but they are good at making post.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Has everyone become too pesimistic about the economy? on: July 03, 2023, 11:19:36 PM
I'm a pleb like most of you, and I too have, many times, become pesimistic about the economy in general and in what's about to come. But has anyone ever considered that,
-snip-
- Institutional investors will come back and take Bitcoin to six digits
I'm probably missing more narratives, but you get the idea.
I am optimistic to this and choose to skip to give opinion for the others. Bitcoin has potential to be six digits although i do not certain how long it will take. we can learn from the past that bitcoin always has way to grow it values, then there is not impossible for bitcoin to increasing the price to the m000000n.
20  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Belarus wants to ban bitcoin P2P transactions on: July 03, 2023, 11:00:29 PM
We cannot deny that trading P2P certainly pose a risk for both party since meeting face to face may trigger a crime if the other party intend to swindle the other party.  In a huge transaction, this might result in a bloodbath.  This is also one reason why I prefer selling my BTC in an online exchange to avoid this kind of incident.
In person trade is not the only form of p2p transaction, any transaction that doesn't involve a third party or a middleman is a p2p transaction, if you trade on Bisq or if i send you BTC right now and you send me fiat or any other commodity that i request in exchange, that's a p2p transaction. There is nothing dangerous or risky about it, if you don't like it in the form of in person trade, then use the other forms.
Yeah i agree with you, Z-tight. The definition of P2P (Peer to Peer) transaction is a transaction that made by a person to another one through an intermediary. that is what Wikipedia said. So, it must not to meet face to face between both party. since serjent05 thought that P2P should do a meeting face to face party, maybe he think that P2P is Person to Person, so maybe he also think that people in belarus will get risk if they do bitcoin transaction by meeting face to face.
