I just received the DHL tracking number for my order (paid the 9th of July). My order status is still "In Progress". KnC definitely needs to improve their order process which trigger lots of customer questions...

This order will be completed today looking at the current production line.
You should receive your tracking number late this afternoon.

Nice. My order was paid on the 9th of July via PayPal. If order process of KnC was consistent, I could also expect " my order will be completed today" and " I should receive my tracking number late this afternoon." |

 i got #40xx , hard to say, it looks like bfl (2weeks in 1day, 1day in 2weeks) there are folks from june waiting, no one knows how many orders they got from Chinese knc site, but a good news is we got a lucky guys 3 or 4 every day who get trackin numb.  (sarcasm) I have 4114 paid july 1st (which should come into it more than order number as the list is by date paid) "in progress" since yesterday, but that could just be a cooler to shut people up ...if that's true it should ship today..doesn't take a day to assemble and ship a rig unless they are using oompa loompas. If it's still in progress by the end of today that status is a lie We'll see. Do not know what "In Progress" means but my order is "In Progress" since the 10th of October, 6 days ago... Would have be happy to get some info on the missed delivery date announced for the 15th of October. Yesterday, I just got the usual " We are looking to produce your miner in the coming days and finalize your order very shortly". Not specific enough...  if it is any help...my order was put in the "in progress" on Friday 10/11/13..and it has been changed to shipped on 10/15/13..but supposedly they don't "work?" on the weekends (is that right?) if so figure around 3 days imho ..but then again I have no tracking number yet...so not sure ...all I have that relates to your in progress update We may conclude the order process is purely manual and not consistent. Improvement is expected, this is mandatory to manage customer expectation... |

I am happy of the work KnC did so far but I am very worry about the announced delivery date (15th of October) which is tomorrow. I totally support Bitcoin and I did not buy KnC Saturn miner to make huge profit. But if I do not get at least a break even result, then I will stop any further mining activity with KnCMiner and I will consider my "cooperation" with KnC as a failure. If KnC do not ship my purchase the 15th of October, then I will request a compensation of 0.7 BTC/delay day (this is the estimated daily mining production of a Saturn). If KnC could not ship my purchase the 15th of October, then I would like to know what is KnC estimated delivery date? And, if so, what compensation do they agree?  |

My order #28xx paid the 28th of June just changed from status "Paid" to "In Progress"... Now I wonder if KnC will ship before 15th of October...  |

Regarding the ModMiner QUAD I wonder if I will buy 2 or buy 3x HD 7970 GPU.
The Hash rate is similar (1600 kH/s for ModMiner QUAD against 1800 kH/s for GPUs).
Cost is $2400 for 2 ModMiner QUAD against $1800 for the complete GPU solution (including motherboard, ...)
Energy consumption would be 80W for 2 ModMiner QUAD and 1000W for the GPUs.
But you need a PC to run the ModMiner QUAD?!
