There is also another project about DIY bitcoin mining rig and that's name is Klondike. Project Klondike was an open-source Bitcoin miner design originally started by Chris Savery. It was based on Avalon Gen1 ASICs and than was sucessfully finished by a group of people with basic firmware.

Here is the link: http://projectklondike.org  and I'll say that Do It Yourself is waste of time in this situation.

LOL,you'll never get those chips or any chips...unless you have

I still have 1 working Klondike miner & 2 broken ones that could be repaired I think  Wink

Mining Bitcoin is over, get some video cards & mine Eth or Zcash with em,MUCH better return than ANY bitcoin mining  Cool

Convert those coins to btc if you have too,I just sellem fer paypal balances  Grin

Thank you, I haven't exposed with Eth or Zcash mine. Maybe you can tell more about it? It is profitable?

Hello,
maybe someone can help me? I'm looking for bitcoin mining diy project with schematics and so on. Power consumption and heat is not important, electricity is almost free and I have a lot of heat sinks and fans. Main criterion is cheap mining block components. The dimension of chip also doesn't matter. Could someone specify such projects?

Thank you for your help Smiley
