Can I add these to my config file or does this need to be done every time I boot?
GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
These can be added to the config file. Put "setx" in front of every line and you are good to go. To start.bat file - correction ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Added more samples to OP for encrypted connection:
miningpoolhub SSL/TLS connection (this pool detects encryption automatically so it uses same port as for unencrypted connection): ZecMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20570 -zwal YourLogin.YourWorkerName -zpsw YourWorkerPassword
coinmine SSL/TLS connection: ZecMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://zec.coinmine.pl:7017 -zwal YourLogin.YourWorkerName -zpsw YourWorkerPassword
On this topic. What pool do people see the most consistent earning with? Seems flypool has ran on 'bad luck' (if you believe that) for weeks now. Getting sort of tired of it.I've been using nanopool, haven't bothered with trying others.

Server PSU's can be used to just run the 12v supply for GPU's, so you can have a standard ATX PSU plus a server PSU to run everything 12v

These questions are getting annoying as hell. Honestly.

Having an issue with the miner restarting while running under another user account. I have a mining user account that I use and then switch to another user account on the computer so it can still be used. Once and a while the driver will crash and recover, miner restarts as it should but it then it gets to where it is supposed to get work from the pool and stops until you log back into the account.
Any fixes for this other than building a dedicated rig that doesn't get used for anything else?
I'm not using 15.12 anymore, I wonder if that's causing this? I remember this working properly before..

Very nice!
When summer hits if it's still profitable I'm going to vent everything out a stack in my roof as well.

I have a question,
how do you evacuate so much heat from the room? I intend to build 25 rigs, but that's over 20.000W, how could I keep the room moderately cold? Here there can be 38º celsius on the street in summer
Regards
Step 1- Calculate the volume of the room (L’xW’xH’). Step 2- Multiply the volume of the room by the required room air changes. Step 3 - Divide the answer by 60 minutes per Hour to find the required room CFM Take that CFM and find a blower system to do so. I say keep it up, you know there's a mining farm with in-house dev's doing what he's doing to make the most of it. We don't have that individual luxury unless you're a highly talented programmer.
The only thing I'd say is can you make us a linux distro like BAMT?

This is weird... one of my 290's is kicking ass today and I don't know why.. GPU1 is what it normally is doing, GPU0 is crazy. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FyNvc1cs.png%3F1&t=663&c=w20jPZopNwkpXw)

What are the dimensions of the room (LxWxH) and dimensions of the windows and quantity?
There's a lot of HVAC calculators out there for air exchange CFM requirements, if you want to do it right this is how you do it.
Having a pile of miners running with the air just blowing willy-nilly in the room is going to create hot and cold spots, you want to read up on fluid dynamics, turbulence, what causes dead zones, and visualize the airflow in the room.
Put the big furnace style blower as an exhaust fan in one window and an array of cheap box fans to keep the air moving from the inlet window, if you can create a wind tunnel effect across the miners you will be better off, but I don't know the layout of the room and what we're working with here.
Draw it up or post pics or both.

Anyones hash rate really low on Nanopool? according to ethmon i'm 3k h/s lower than i should be , usually its 1k diff up or down not 3+ k
So far today it's been pretty darn close to what my rigs combine at after dev fees on the miner are taken into account. I have noticed a lot of ups and downs and not a steady reporting, not sure what's causing that.

170h/s on a reference 290? I'm seeing 200 at 1030/1250 -100mv with the stock bios, if I go to 1100/1475 it just eats power for an extra 10h/s.
Reference 290 can hash at 230 h/s @ 1100/1450 with Stilt BIOS mods. More with Hynix mem Even more with 290X. With V8 and the 390X bios i'm now at 280-290h/s. Haven't checked watts yet.

You can already do this by mining at an auto-switching pool using Claymore. What would be useful is for Claymore to auto-switch POOLS based on profit, he can dream big and combine all his miners controlled by a separate program that looks at the pool API's and starts the appropriate miner.
Can you imagine hundreds of thousands of miners hitting that API? How do you think the nicehash miner works? I did that with BAMT switching between scrypt, X11, and X15. "Back in the day"

I'm running two reference 290's at 400h/s at 1030/1250 -100mv core -100mv aux 0 power level. Fans are now at 50-55% at 85C, this is inside of a Corsair 750D.
I need to put a kill-a-watt on it but it's made a significant difference on the temp with only a 20h/s loss. That's the highest core I can get to at the moment, stable.
Stock BIOS, should I load in the 390 STILT's bios?

Can someone who has a Reference R9 290 factory stock run theirs at 1100/1450 and post their Sol/s. I am wondering if the STILT BIOS mods make any difference, I am getting 169Sol/s. With Elpida ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.anandtech.com%2Fdoci%2F7481%2F290Car_678x452.jpg&t=663&c=oCCIFBvIhePcvQ) Running two 290's with Hynix memory at 1100/1470 +50 power +0 core voltage +0 aux. Pool is showing a 6hr average of 380sol/s, miner shows 420. Stock bios. MSI Afterburner auto-fan configured, both in a 750D Corsair case, both running 83-85* at 70% fan.
