First of all, the Dawn project is not just our 'coin', the Ray token.
Dawn is much, MUCH more than a crypto coin.

We focus on creating a new breed of blockchain technology, and the technology bit is more important to us than creating yet another 'shitcoin'.
So this is why we have no issue leaving out the information of our coin, we don't want to attract the pump&dump crowd that we normally see jumping on every single new coin that hits the market.

We're in the for the long game, and we will create an entire ecosystem of apps and tools to make sure our project is a success.

Since we want to get this right, we will not be releasing incomplete information so we don't confuse people.

You can expect all the information regarding our Ray token when we've decided on all the specifics, which should be by the end of this week.

Small project update:
We have hired another senior developer for the project.

On a technology level, we identified some major scaleability issues in Tendermint, and are looking to switch our chain to Hyperledger.
So far, this is not having an effect on our release date.

White paper and website is coming in the next few days.

Tendermint is the consensus engine we use. We do not have mining in our chain and network.

We don't use a mining concept. You can become a validator on our network though. This also allows you to receive a portion of the daily token creation, just like mining does.

Cosmos is founded by the Tendermint people. Let's say we are the first third party to use it as a primary chain.

We also have very different goals and long-term visions. But I definitely see us working with Cosmos in the future, I love their idea of a distributed network of different chains.

And yes, we are very much aware of the fact that our current post is not looking as it should because of the restrictions bitcointalk puts on new accounts. We are getting our website up in the coming days which will allow for a much nicer introduction to our project.
