1  Economy / Invites & Accounts / [WTS] PoolWarz account on: April 02, 2014, 12:47:23 AM
Hello,

I have one unused PoolWarz beta account for sale. I didn't mine a single coin with it so stats are all clean. There are still about 3,000 people in the beta queue, so I'm asking for 0.01 BTC or the equivalent in any alt.

Send me a PM if you're interested and we'll work out the trade details.

Cheers!

Can't find much info on these miners... Have they priced the units yet?

Like everyone else said, don't cancel, just keep or sell it.

ronaldlee's logic makes sense. I don't know the latest numbers, but even if your order was in the 50k, difficulty would merely be in the 40M. That's still over $200/month with a Jalapeno.

I wouldn't buy a GPU now either. With ASICs entering the market, it won't be long before GPUs can't pay for themselves anymore.

55W is for the GPU alone.

Try some alt coins next! Right now Litecoin and Novacoin yield around 70% more USD with the same hardware.

Slush's for BTC. He seems to always be ahead of the curve when it comes to software and being fair to miners. I'd probably switch to Mt.Red if I was running an ASIC 24/7 though. PPS with 0% fee is just too much of a good offer to decline.

Burnside's for LTC. PPLNS, no fees (although you are encouraged to donate) and excellent uptime.

Coinotron for TRC. Because there's no other active pool that I know of.

CGMiner is awesome.

Here's the commandline I use if it can be of any help. It connects to Burnside's pool and adjusts fan speed to keep the GPU temp around 75C.

Code:
cgminer.exe -o http://ltc.kattare.com:9332 -u workername -p password --scrypt --shaders 1024 --intensity 12 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-75 --temp-target 75 --temp-hysteresis 1

The shaders parameter depends on your GPU. Adjust it according to this (comes straight from the scrypt-readme file that comes with cgminer):

Bought a Humble Bundle and noticed one of the top contributors was named "BUYBITCOINS" or something. I googled it out of pure curiosity and spent the whole evening reading about it.

Glad I did! Now I have 2 systems mining BTC/LTC/TRC 24/7, placed a pre-order at BFL, and wonder how much of my fiat I should convert!
