1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] B2B Coin ( BBC ) - POW CryptoNight - Low Supply - No Premine - Exchange on: January 09, 2018, 06:56:44 PM
Seems the stocks.exchange wallet has issues again. Deposits are not being confirmed.

EDIT: Works fine now
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] B2B Coin ( BBC ) - POW CryptoNight - Low Supply - No Premine - Exchange on: January 01, 2018, 02:00:09 AM
Why is the deposit and withdrawal on stocks.exchange disabled for BBC?

Probably because of the coin config change with barely any notice ahead of the change.

Any pool with support for fixed difficulty?
Unlike Bitcoin which difficulty is adjusted every 2016 blocks, EDC's difficulty is adjusted every block and depended on the average time finding a block, ei, depend on network hash rate.
he mean, pool diff i think  Wink Wink Wink

Yes, pool diff. The vardiff seems to be jumping too high on all the pools. I believe the optimal configuration should be 20-60 sec between submitted shares. With vardiff I often see  5 minutes between submitted shares.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] B2B coin - New CryptoNote/CryptoNight for b2b & MLM - Low Supply - Bounty on: December 20, 2017, 10:11:56 PM
Hi, Dev!
I saw, you are collecting money for exchange. So, i'd like to suggest one idea for you.
Please, organize auction. Then, you can get BTC that you need.
You have some coins for bounty and dev's fund. And you can spend part of this amount for auction.
This is community projet and it will help you.
For example, you can start auction from 0.005/1000 coins. (I don't know, what price you are expecting. So, i can be wrong)
What do you think about it?

There is no premine and Dev dont have coins to auction but if we all donate B2b, he can auction
or we can donate BTC to get listed.

The dev might not have enough coins to sell off to get the 0.12 btc needed but someone sure does. The block height is already at 86500 and with a supply of 50 coins per block that's more than 4.3 million mined coins to date and less than 50 miners. Perhaps a couple of the 100k+ wallet guys could step up and donate some b2b for the dev to auction.

I wrote this up in response to one of the Anoncoin bounties : https://ihb.io/2014-11-17/news/anonymity-block-chain-13570

Comments appreciated. Smiley

Awesome

Please retry your trolling. Correct url is ihb.io, not hb.io. The result is roughly the same though.

Man, the gobitgo guide for JohnTheRipper installation turned out to be much more work and hazzle than I thought. It stops at point 5.6 "nano Makefile" where what comes up is nowhere near the picture in the guide. So no closer to opening my wallet.

Walletrecoveryservices is building in temptation, but 1000 anc is a very stiff price  Cry
What is your problem? Send me a PM if its privat.

Forgot my password Sad Trying to install the cracker in a virtual machine.

You are almost there if you got to 5.6. When you use nano Makefile, did you scroll down the file to look for the correct section to edit? Even if you skip this step you will be able to run johntheripper with a single core which may be enough to crack it in a day or two if it is in fact just a typo.

Yeah, I scrolled down, but none of the things that was there in the guide-pic was there when I used nano makefile, so something must have gone wrong earlier on. Maybe I'll just run it on one core then Smiley There really is no reason to rush it.

Just went through the setup myself. Just replace nano Makefile with nano makefile.legacy to complete step 5.6. Seems there's been a couple of changes since the guide was written.
EDIT: Next up, run "./configure && make -s" instead of just "make".

The day before the party starts I find that my password for my wallet with a few K ANC isn't working  Embarrassed Must have made a typo somewhere.

Anyone know if this guide will work for ANC? http://www.gobitgo.com/articles/1005/How-To-Recover-Your-Bitcoin-Wallet-Password/

dont know, there is a bitcoin password recovery service that helped me many times with altcoin wallets back last year.
They didn't steal anything! and it always worked Smiley

http://www.walletrecoveryservices.com/

Thinking about it, but want to try a bit myself at first Smiley

If you just mistyped the password you should give it a try. You can list multiple passwords that you may have used and let johntheripper have a go at it going through the most likely typos for you. If you didn't mistype it too bad you should be able to recover it in a day. If it doesn't crack in a day or two, walletrecoveryservices. Wish you luck!

Haha.. No wonder why I'm always offline from here. Listening to those trolls trying to increase their e-penis and save the last of the fallen coins they sit on.. Maybe angry for us not letting them easily copy us... well well, I wouldn't care, either should you.

This was not a reply to the trolls. They are on /ignore.

/Back to work

Liar, you come here everyday but you act like a child.
My last post below is clear but you are not able to provide a real support to your community because you have no arguments against mines. This is unfortunate to see the main dev acting like that.

If you are not able to understand, then ask Meeh or Gnosis (they were both online on bitcointalk today):
1) Who will setup the 13 accumulators of zerocoin?
2) If it will be possible to review this setup to be sure that Gnosis doesn't know the factors (P and Q) of the accumulators (to avoid the risk that he forge zerocoin proofs and generate infinite ANC)?

The reponses are:
1) Gnosis
2) No because the setup will be done OUTSIDE the open source wallet code.

EDIT: If 2) response from Meeh is YES, then I'm out. You will never see me again here.

@rsa_ufo_attack
I do not tend to respond to trolling, however I do _not_ consider these questions to be trolling. Your requests for information might seem a bit hostile though and thrown onto the trolling pile. Like you pointed out these are completely legitimate questions that should be answered. However we do not have the answers to these questions at this time.
Preferably we will have a way to ensure that anyone can verify that the generated UFO's are in fact the ones that are deployed, and at the same time deliver proof of destruction of the initial parameters. Worst case scenario, the users might actually have to trust the dev team to do this right. If it comes down to trusting the team, it will probably hurt the price quite a bit, but the technology itself will in no way be impacted.

@everyone
Some additional information for those that haven't caught on yet. We are primarily in this project to push the boundaries of anonymity technology, not to amuse the investors that buy loads of the coin. To avoid zerocoin implementation using the UFO's (the best tech to date) because there is a slight chance it might be abused is not an option. It was said that it will be attacked and eventually cracked, this is a given. The important factor here is time.

To crack the UFO's will most likely require several decades even with a wast constant, or even increasing, amounts of computing power. With previous statements in the thread some people are indirectly implying that all development will halt when zc with ufo launches. This is certainly not the case. With zc and the UFO in place we will have _at least_ 5 years to come up with a better solution without ever being at risk of the UFO's being cracked.

If any of these risks are not acceptable to you, I suggest you drop your coin, and shift your interest towards another coin.
rsa_ufo_attack:

I only saw your question because it was quoted in another post (you are on ignore).

1. The RSA UFOs were generated using the algorithm of Sanders. You can verify this in the code that Gnosis published on github. The fact that it was generated using Sanders algorithm proves that no one knows that factorization. Please read the wiki, inspect the code, and read the Sanders paper. If you don't do this, you will have to trust the developers.

2. Of course. You realize this is open source, right?

Seems I should read up on the wiki as well. Thanks lunokhod

This is quite different from what has been repeteadly announced by Gnosis. The "trustless" Zerocoin setup had never been questioned, until now. To come now and say that "maybe" the community will have to trust the dev team in order to make it right is definitely a change in the official position, and one that puts ANC at risk.

The setup itself will be trustless once implemented. I do not have enough insight to contradict Gnosis's announcement, but I haven't heard of any way to provide good proof of destruction at this time. You should not weight my word heaver than his though as he might know how to do it. I'm just saying there is a chance that trusting the team for at least some part of the implementation might become necessary.

You're part of the dev team, and your words may cause more impact than others. IMO Gnosis should clarify this point asap.

Yes, my bad. I shouldn't respond without having all the facts. I agreem and believe that Gnosis should clarify how the key that is used can be verified as the generated UFO, and provide some proof of destruction of the initial parameters to ensure that the setup is completely trustless.

Hey cool, I did not read that about Gnosis! : )

I bought a little ANC today to express my support.

I hope the Webmaster will be doing a multilingual site so I'd be useful to this Community by translating into German. But well : )

Nice that some people are still buying  Smiley At this price I would show some support too if I had any money left.

Cryptsy works again. Both withdraws and deposits seems to work fine now.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: July 06, 2014, 08:08:29 PM
So it has been over a week since my ANC withdrawals "processed" yet I still have no coins. I have submitted multiple tickets to support, but they couldn't be more useless. This is a lot of money for me and I see that this is a problem a lot of people are having. Has anyone actually gotten their coins yet?

I have the same issue. Tried withdrawing to see if it's stuck again. I got the coins last time but it usually takes more than a week for them to fix it every time. My guess is that ANC doesn't get enough volume for them to really care.

Edit: got a response to my ticket in 5 minutes. Same answer as usual and I am not sure if they actually do bother checking it.
"Thank you for getting in touch with us about your withdrawal request and my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
I am showing this transaction should be credited to your account. I have escalated this ticket to our tech support team. Please give them time to check the transaction and send you a reply as as our tech support team must respond in order of tickets received.
Please let me know when your withdrawal has gone thru. Thank you kindly for your patience and understanding."

Probably because he's an Anoncoin bagholder that bought when it was $2. Zerocoin was also abandoned last I heard....Useless crap anyway.

You're absolutely wrong on Zerocoin, but I'll let you look that up for yourself ya dumbass scammer. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=256238

Scammer? I have no scam marks against me genius.

Show me otherwise that Zerocoin is Not abandoned.

Your profiles "Untrusted feedback" kinda tells a different story. Either way regarding your statement. Everyone knows that zerocoin was abandoned by the original developers who released the first whitepaper, then moved on to the new concept of zerocash which is a trust based setup. This is unacceptable to most users that require anonymity or invest in the product as infinite coins could be created, or their identities/transactions exposed by the devs.

Back on track. We are in fact developing zerocoin based on the whitepaper released and has been for months. This means we are tweking the original ideas but the concept is still the same, weeding out the issues that made them abandon it for zerocash. Adding our trustless setup makes it, at least at this time, unique as neither the users or dev team will be able to manipulate it.

It still wont offer anonymity comparable to Zerocash or Cryptonote...That's why the original Zerocoin devs abandoned it.

Not comparable because zerocoin with the trustless improvements will actually be better than zerocash. Grin zerocash will basically be at risk 24/7. If the devs lost control over their keys at any point it will likely crash and burn.

The original devs did not abandon zerocoin due to anonymity issues. They abandoned it for other reasons like blockchain bloat, and a few other issues that can actually be solved with a rather large amount of work put into it. In conclusion; you sir are talking shit and have clearly not read anything but scam coin propaganda. We welcome and encourage an open discussion in this thread, but please refrain from simply throwing around false statements without any source to back them up.

Yes agreed - just trying to make a point with DARKOTA (troll - pump and dumper), that he can self moderate and delete posts all he likes and lie about other people on HIS moderated thread but their are other ways to make people see he is a liar and a fraud.

I proved my point, sincere apologies for 'derailing' this thread.

Good derail. It's nice to see some enlightened statements when the trolls come out to play. Just remember that you should never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.  Grin
