1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: March 26, 2015, 11:51:02 AM
I actually got my miner today. I think it's been around 17-18 months since I ordered it, and I never thought it would arrive, but it did. Just too bad those 150GH/s is worth nothing this day. I wonder if they used my miner for personal gains before shipping it out. Guess I'll never know. I can post pics if anyone wants to see. I know - I am just a stranger on the internet and I could be lying.

The only reason that I got the miner was because I "like" BAS on facebook when they put up their news that the miner had been in stock since december/january. Why not contact me via e-mail some time before this? I don't get it. I don't get this way of doing business, it is so dishonest. If you have any experience in electrical/software engineering you should be able to make a probable deadline instead of lying to get more customers. I was dumb to believe it. It was too good to be true. Yet here I am with a useless piece of hardware that I spent way too much money on. Any advice for what to use it on? It's got a huge fan I could use for blowing air in my face... I must admit the design is pretty slick though, great job on the casing, and the interface is pretty nice as well, using an android as screen seems pretty cool too. I will definitely get some inspiration for some products of my own (nowhere near related to bitcoin though)

Hello,

I've been an on and off user of bitcointalk for around a year now, but since I was only learning and reading, I never felt the urge to create an account, as the things I could contribute with was kind of noobish (just-a-google-search-away kind of things).
However now I have a particular question that I want to ask in a thread (a request for renewal of a currently dead download link).
I have plenty of knowledge about bitcoin and other alt coins, such as the number of blocks between difficulty change (2016 blocks) and the year when all initial blocks are mined and afterwards only transaction fees will provide profit for miners (year 2140) just to name a few.
I've been looking much into the ASIC mining as well as tried to figure out the reason for the recent rise in Bitcoin price (BTC/USD).
If at any point you don't trust that I should be allowed on the forum, well, then this post counts as one of the 5, and I don't take it that hard.

Best regards, callmeboris

Hi my name is irrelevant but you can callmeboris

I should have joined this forum just when I started reading on here (have been around on and off for nearly a year).
But instead just read posts and didn't feel the need to create an account and make replies, so here I am posting on the newbie topics.

Should have made a user long time ago... Have read plenty here on bitcointalk, but never really felt the need to create a user... Well, this is what you get. Smiley
